  1. Well we were looking good for the first 20 minutes and then we simply did not defend a corner. What follows will define
  2. So you’re a rat with a life jacket - don’t worry as I suspect the lifeboat will be full.
  3. Ahoy shipmates - are you rats donning yer life jackets or are you Didos and prepared to go down with the ship . I will send semaphores from the crows nest over the poop deck in the stormy seas of Hamilton - still at a 4 by the way
  4. Is he using some of the vocabulary used on here !! Again he is scapegoating and Shaw has to be demoralised- when a player bungles the team get behind him and give that little bit extra - being “drained” by that one moment is ridiculous. I expect Shaw to be hooked but I am worried that Dodds will start Doran. And let’s face it - Dodds is here until we exit the Cup at the very least. We can’t afford the gardening and there is no one ready to step up. I am still also concerned that the powers to be are placing all their hope that we get a semi final place and are preparing the injured for that - expecting that relegation is beyond us. Tonight may provide some hints but it is far from a D-Day situation - in fact a win may give Dodds the time he needs - but will the team play for him ??
  5. Och the silly old git deserves a bit of a beating every now and again.
  6. Dear Uncle Roy - mission close to completion- Look forward to seeing you again soon
  7. I actually think that Dodds may have sussed out what is going on but hasn't got a scoobie what to do about it - which is my main concern about Dodds. He keeps going on about how difficult it is to play at home as teams sit back and try and hit us on the break. Is that not the case all over the feckin world ? But the away games that I have witnessed - evidently apart from Livi - he has set up to defend, defend and defend but relied on Billy "No mates" for any break. Given our position in the league why not utilise the Livi system in every game this season ? Is that too simple ? I have a wee conspiracy theory but can anyone suggest any reason for the Livi performance from a financial and self-preservation perspective ? Was there a win bonus on offer for Livi ?
  8. Young hooligans should learn to respect authority, sit down and keep quiet.
  9. As I am psychologically minded I will carry on as the study may help to bring about change. I have gone down to a 4 but I still think that there is an outside chance of making the play offs and the games leading up to the Killie game are going to decide our season. I am heading to Hamilton mid week to further judge for myself as I can’t believe that yesterday’s performance came a week after Livi. It simply defies logic how a team can put in such a performance- against better opposition - one week and totally self destruct the next ? For those who were at both games what the feck happened??
  10. OK - I will drop down to 4 - as the cup is a one-off and we are a better team away from home. I will have to travel to Hamilton now to see for myself. Anybody care to carry on scoring (look at the criteria again) and join me in Weegieland on Tuesday.
  11. I have always felt that we are more of a Cup Team
  12. Last week proved that we are a second half team
  13. Well understandably the scores have mainly increased and maintaining the trend at the present time is vital. Nice to note that there has been an enthusiastic response. But let’s remain honest and not get too positive. If we can reach at least 75% of the Livi performance we are in with a shout Look forward to another positive performance and outcome and await your scores and comments later
  14. Six points from the two Hamilton games are vital. Those results would further boost player confidence and fan expectation. Dundee, Ayr and the Spiders away is a big, big ask but as Dodds said earlier in the season the team that goes on a run will win the league. And everybody is taking points off each other. Fraid it is a case of “now or never”.
  15. There would be a better way to raise the roof this season
  16. Uh Aye there was nowt like a Stiffy in Fannies
  17. Feel sorry for the Killie support but I suppose that it would have been the same arrangement if it was Kilmarnock and ICT.
  18. You should have been a Shrewsbury Town supporter in the early 1980's plus I have always agreed with the hypothesis that you simply have to make 10 "louder" but remain in the achievable bracket. The rumours that I allude to are my scoring bias and nobody else's - plus I have retained them in confidence. This is a serious Research project so I would appreciate your actual scoring.
