  2. Said what mucker - I bet you an Ayrton Senna that me china plates in TW1 will have a rite bubble bath at your stoopid rabbit and pork. Me and my plates and dishes or me horse and cart have been dawn in TW1 fer a butchers hook and they all spoke the lingo.
  3. I lost in interest in the Pars when Brewster left them! He arrived in Inverness a few weeks after I moved here - that gave me added incentive to go and watch them. Feck me :D :D :D :D
  4. By which you presumably mean people in their 50s? :D :D :D No - I mean older people of any age who are intolerant of yoof, are disparaging of any feckin "fun" at a footie match, just feckin tut and criticise instead of joining in and constantly whinge - Me - i am an old fecker who doesnt give a feck and sings ma feckin lungs out fer the cause. Most peeple find that I grow on them - please tell me who you are and buy me a double voddie :D WE ARE SECTION G
  5. I suspect that the sudden Mars Bar appearance on this thread was probably due to an unconscious psychological link with Heilandee - They both appear to be sweet, friendly and enticing but end up making ya want to boak. :D
  6. Yea. I was thinking that. the ladies in the shop are lovely. They are very nice to my sis. They got her a McBain singed shirt :) Did she get it cheap cos of the iron pattern on the back ?
  7. Totally agree - Most peeple come back anew / afresh / subdued / compliant after a ban. And things are looking up when birddog becomes a self acclaimed ersehole. Ersehole - another lubbly word.
  8. I am a serious poster and I have no patience with banter, innuendo or sarcasm. :)
  9. Better make shure that Pele doesnt use the same old invisible ink that he used fer ICT contracts :)
  10. Hotchop is a prime example of what destroys a credible thread.
  11. Never mind the BS - what does Section G mean to you ? Me - Although I am now a rare home attender it is always where I head to - because my mates are there - I am not and never will be a Main stander - that is where any chanting usually eminates from - that is where I get most of the craic and banter. It aint a Section B Airdrie or anything like that - it is camaraderie - Nowt wrong with going away and singing - "We are Section G" - its a feckin joke fer fecks sake. The "old gits" :) appear to think that it has a hooligan link - well let them have a go if they think they are hard enuff :32: B) Section G is the "womb" / the nursery / the breeding ground of the future. I fer one support the Section G mob - who often cannot put there feelings into the "old git" mentality or vocabulary. SECTION G TILL I DIE - and feckin proud of it.
  12. I looked at this as being just another diddy cup final but a feckin good day out with the lads - Am I alone in now feeling that this Sunday has taken on a considerably higher profile and could even prove to be a defining moment in our season ? This is a real chance for the fans to unite, the players to perform - and give us a boost to move forward. Lets hope this feeling has moved on to the dressing room. BRING IT ON - Lets feckin rock Perth.
  13. We're down as the the away team in the Final. What schools did you two go to - turn the feckin scarf upside down - sorted.
  14. *starts to read, sees word 'muppets', yawns and leaves* Thanks for your opinion and your intellectualism - you've been in Leeds too long :) :32: B)
  15. A rather deep - but appropriate quote - from Jim Morrrison of all people for the Mods: ?I'm a word man. See, there's this theory about the nature of tragedy, that Aristotle didn't mean catharsis for the audience but a purgation of emotions for the actors them selves. The audience is just a witness to the event taking place on stage.? Personally I feel that this form of conflict resolution is healthy but I feel that some posters are at a danger of becoming self indulgent :) and still projecting the blame Tips to mange conflicts - The following are tips to avoid a situation from ballooning into a conflict: ?Be open with your feelings?be polite but firm, be assertive without being aggressive ?Be calm, cool and composed. Anger never won an argument. Besides there are more chances of your being heard if you keep your emotions in control and your voice down. ?Refrain from the blame game. Blaming one another will only add fuel to the fire. ?Remember the old adage, ?It takes two hands to clap?. Listen to the other person?s version of the entire episode. This may sometimes make you realize that may be you are at fault and the other person?s action may stand vindicated. ?Respect one another?s rights. Showing respect is a positive attitude and even your worst enemy may reciprocate it. When such a reciprocation of respect takes place, it is easier to resolve conflicts. ?Be genuine in your concerns and complaints. Do not feign emotions or make false allegations. ?Keep your line of opinion based on reason. Do not jump to impractical conclusions. ?Try to heal wounds rather than opening fresh ones. Do not add insult to injury. ?Opt for a compromise. If you force people to consider only your part of the problem you are sending the other party into a defensive position and virtually shutting out all doors to an amicable solution. ?Learn to forgive?most importantly learn to forget. I still feel that there is a definite "old git" flavour to this thread - not sure if some of the younger posters are not aware of the height of present emotions - whether they dont (or cant) express their feelings in a non-craic type manner - or if they foolishly believe that this will wash itself down the drain I wonder if some are concerned that they will be "picked on" - "bullied" - or "humiliated" if they respond in their own words. I have a feel of nepotism, agism and tribalism about all of this. The "old gits" appear to be projecting the blame on the yoof. My words of wisdom to the yoof - say what you want to say and lets see if ya can walk the walk and remember: ?You can only be young once. But you can always be immature.? :32: and Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance (or sing karaoke!!).? This is so much better than the weekly psychotherapy group that I am currently facilitating
  16. Feckin brilliant :) :blah01: Mind you - if he came on this site he would be one of the feckin milder posters. :D
  17. I can confirm that you were psshed.
  18. Would ya feckin adam and eve it ? An invite to get your bacon and eggs down to the battle cruiser fer some Tommy Tupcker, have a bubble bath and get Brahms and Liszt of yer boat race.
  19. If it was the muppets in charge I suspect that it could have been Bob Wilson.
  20. GJ and Red Card - should have stayed at the Govan Hilton but I was going to Sneck on the Saturday but now cant - are you going to the Tulloch Institute before the game ?
  21. We have to play our next home Champions League game behind closed doors . :D :) :blah01: or in feckin Bucharest !! Lets all wear muppet costumes to the next home game armed with wads of Euros.
  22. I thought that it had something to do with Mary Poppins. O2B :D
  23. Well here I am - on nights in A&E - dead pan sober - not a drink for 72 hours - possibly thank feck fer that. There you go - the word feck - still alive and kicking without asterisks - some may ask why ? Other words such as **** and **** etc are personna non grata - wow I could go really psychological here but I will restrain myself. abuse - bullying - humour - banter etc. - they all mean different things to different people - especially in an age of political correctness and human rights and "I dont like that word so dont use it" mentality - well I would say feck aff to that - but that is me. The "old" site was a mix of people who knew who the owners of the other signatures were - that has changed and I suspect that it is very difficult and frustrating when you really want to know the identity of the person who is challenging you, disagreeing with you and taking the mick at times. To me that is most amusing. The fortunes of the club do mirror the "feel" of the site - it is human behaviour to project your feelings and this site affords the opportunity - that is why it is busier after a poor display. I use it to destress myself and stress others !! I blame the muppets for a lot of this. Feckin smileys - ban the feckers Do they wind some peeple up or wot - I call them ammunition :D Lets have a wee bit of moderator criticism here - they are a bit like referees arent they ? It is really difficult to make consistent moderation decisions when you have such diverse personalities. I have to say that I feel that personality clashes do come in to play and some moderators have less temperance for certain individuals. I would hate to be a moderator as I feel that you cannot freely be a "free" poster and a moderator at the same time - one minute you could be in a debate and the next you are deleting the post - feckin power is feckin marvellous :) I also feel that a bit of the "old school" attitude has developed - I know that you can often tell the age of a poster by their style but I feel that the yoof appear to be targetted on here in a "that wouldnt have happened in my day son" or "listen to your father" type chastisement. Aint it interesting who has posted on here and who hasnt - and the second poster (gawd bless him) probably thought that it was a wind up to join in with I quite like the Fat Slags who run this experience :) It truly grieves me that they are feeling as they do - whatever we may think it is the Fat Controllers who keep the CTO trains running on time. But seriously this to me is a warning - it could be "a cry for help". It could be an IT mid life crisis ? I think that it takes a lot of courage to express your emotions so freely to such an audience :025: :025: Lets all keep within the boundaries of polite "respect" - and watch the feckin language. Nowt like a bit of banter and sarcasm :blah01:
  24. I still do not know what Bob Harris has to do with ICTFC. Is IHE on the windup? He could be the next Chairman of ICT. Especially as the Publishing Group are looking for new premises in Sneck.
