  1. Of course Duncan is unhappy - I would be unhappy if he wasnt. DOH - do you think McBain is unhappy as well. And if the SPL scouts have noted Cox already they have worse scouts than we have. But DOH - there are SPL scouts at most games - thats their feckin job. :crazy07: :crazy07: :crazy07:
  2. I'd say it seems to be working given that County are currently top of the league. The wire is loose and like Tinkerville will be a feckin dead connection by Xmas.
  3. Would it be considered to sell in the Innes Bar and on the road to the Stadium for kick off ?
  4. Perhaps not the time to do it - when the team is so inconsistent - and the home record is P2 W0 D1 L1 pts 1 Time to do it is when we are in a more comfortable position and playing against teams struggling at the foot of the table.
  5. Bulvitus was at fault with both the Airdrie goals - I said it after the Pars game - he looks more like a full back who can fill in as a centre half. Perhaps that is the place for Tokely as he does not look like the gungho, energy filled full back of yesteryear - unless he is on a tactical leash.
  6. Spot feckin on - we have a good enough squad for the budget and the SFL - it is as much to do with the selection and the tactics as much as anything else - and hopefully they are adjusting as a few strengths and weaknesses are sussed out.
  7. Mmmmmmmmmm - this is apparently similiar to the stony silence at the aforementioned meeting when the issue was raised. We will just have to trust the muppets the Board on this one. Still - it will all be revealed in the accounts
  8. Come on Reliably Infirmed - what is your take on the words that we should all take to be the facts.
  9. Good post - thanks for that - I would have been mortified if you hadnt said what you said - I agree that things can go awry on the day but whoever studied Airdrie should be feckin shot.
  10. Mark my words senor - The man is a feckin liability
  11. Good question - never really thought about that - my games have been limited but the ones I have been to, in retrospect, we have come out in a more defensive mode and adopted the "hoof" tactic early doors. I still think that it has a lot to do with an inexperienced midfield but I do agree that if we came out of the blocks - attacking - especially at home it may pay dividends.
  12. Spot on Mary - playing Duncan in a holding role should allow more opportunity for Hayes to drift and Cox to create plus McBain's engine will add to the cover and he is capable of interchanging with Hayes. I would personally prefer to try Barrowman instead of Sanchez but it is the preferred pairing you quote.
  13. In further sincerity - I have to conceded that we should not question the Chairman and the Board who have kindly and honestly responded to a tricky question. We should also remember that previous comments and statements by the Board at public / fan meetings have always been proved to be correct and accurate in the end. Fortunately it has never occured that the Board have been caught out and the outcomes have never been closer to the rumours than the information provided.
  14. I heard that two - apparently Grassa's report was to watch for the tall, lanky guy up front called Broon and the wee guy in midfield called Wullie.
  15. I have to wholeheartedly agree with Mary - It will go down as a good performance and that we were unlucky to be defeated at the death by the alledged form team in the SPL. Nobody can really have a pop at Butcher as he tried something different and to a degree it worked. So here is the criticism (similiar to Marys') and hopefully it is yet another lesson learned for Tel Boy. His persistence in looking for Jimmy Zadi to succeed has hopefully come to an end - Jimmy is the back up for Golly full feckin stop. He will always be a liability but he will probably be an effective enough reserve SFL full back. Stratford must be at the point of dropping and let him play for his place. I was hoping that we could look at how Duncan and Cox played together in central midfield - Duncan and Startford is a bizarre central midfield pairing and it appears that playing Cox further forward may have been a ploy to maintain Stratford. Hopefully the other lesson learned is to keep Proctor out of the back four !! Surprised that Foran was so effective but that only serves to prove yhat he was lackadaisical and a disgrace at Airdrie. At least he put his hands up to that and perhaps this a turning point in his season - I reckon he will start a scoring streak against Plastic Whistle. And then the matter of who plays with him - Sanchez, Rooney or Barrowman ?? I have always said that I dont think that Foran and Rooney can play together - I reckon Butcher will favour Sanchez as he is a latest signing and is certainly a flair player but blows hot and cold. Again it may be useful to bench him, start Barrowman and use Sanchez as a potentially lethal substitute - plus we now also have the option of dropping Foran back into midfield in the second half. So hopefully more lessons have been learned and we move slightly forward again.
  16. We dont care - our management have put money aside to pay for it all - It has not affected our accounts and it has not prevented the club from buying new players or offering new contracts - we stand by our Board and the decision to fight this against the odds - no matter what the outcome is. It is not about the money, it is a matter of principle.
  17. Golly was never as clueless as Lionel
  18. I say we give him the ?250,000 plus legal fees that we owe him and bring this to an end.
  19. He got sent off after some really wild tackles in the Brewster era and signalled to the Killie supporters - he got pelters there every time he played - a bit like Rosscoe at Midden if not so extreme.
  20. Does that mean that Marius may have to return to finish off his contract ?
  21. What a feckin thought - Feb 8th and Renegade in a Haunted House.
  22. I understand that Mr Niculae and ICT (represented by a muppet at what cost?) appeared at FIFA Headquarters last week in regard to the alledged contract non payments - and the judgement is pending. Isnt it strange how this piece of news does not appear to have been shared with the fans
  23. I'd go with: ----------------------------------------Esson--------------------------------------------------- ---Tokely------------Bulvitis--------------------------Munro-------------Golabek----------- -------------Cox----------------------McBain--------------------Hayes----------------------- ------------Foran-------------------Barrowman-----------------Rooney----------------------
  24. I blame Butcher - he simply is not on the same wavelength.
