ICT V Celtic : Matchday Thread
Ma feckin tattoo on ma arm faded a bit more and the one on ma erse gets more beautiful by the day. To be honest we could have been 4 or 5 down by half time but the second half was classic ICT - so feckin proud. Well worth the 7 hour journey home - with a rite pished aff Mrs IHE. :rotflmao: Five smileys fer the lot but a special mention fer the players I usually have a pop at - Hastings was sooperb - How many times did he get a block and/or a header in - and Marius had his best game ever fer ICT - he may not be mobile or have pace but he can do a job, mainly at home, due to his touch and awareness - and fer the first time I felt that he was committed to the cause. :clapping03: :clapping03:

Poll : Was it a penalty?
Just watched re-run after re-run on Setanta - I think we just shaded it - even if it was just on the basis that Marius outpaced and outpushed somebody in the SPL - albeit Pressley. :001:

The Brewster Effect...
Brewster's strength is in his backroom staff - he always brought fitness +++ to Sneck - he is still a wee bit dodgy tactically and the 4-1-4-1 formation was a wee bit lucky due to the injury to Wyness and the determination or instruction to perservere with Niculae. But long may it continue. :001: Of course we can carry on playing 4-1-4-1 - if Duncan stays fit as he is the only one who can play in front of the defence. As fer the 1 - Bayne (away) - Niculae (home) and Wyness could drop deeper if necessary. IMHO we should play it every week. :021:

Merry Christmas everyone
MERRY FECKIN CHRISTMAS TO ICT FANS ACROSS THE FECKIN GLOBE May I be the first to say a Very Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all the posters on this forum. I love feckin Xmas and it is a time when ya should love yer fellow man and cherish your loved ones, past and present. I may be obnoxious at times and take the pishh but if you support ICT then you will always be OK in ma book - well deep feckin down anyway And as Carl Jung once said to me "There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness." :011:

CHRISTMAS SONGS
Hark Now Hear the Caley Sing, The ****'s (County) ran away, And we will fight fer ever more, For ICTFC. And fer Tynecastle - Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the away - oh what fun it is to see the Caley win away. There's only one Marius Niculae, one Marius Niculae, he used to be s***e, but now he's all right, walkin' in a Romanian wonderland." Nic-ulae, who-ah-whoh whoh...he comes from Romania, he'll score eventually." Oh Niculae is magic, He wears a magic hat, And when he saw Inverness, He said I fancy that, He didn't sign for Rangers, Or Celtic 'coz they're sh*te, He signed for Caley Thistle, 'Coz they're f*cking dynamite We're Blue - We're White, We're feckin dynamite. Caley Jags.

The reason that we got away fans on was becos we were bickering, showing animosity and downright rudeness - at least I was - now I fear moderation. :blah01:

Feck me I forgot to tell ya - I have done my midwifery years ago - I could have delivered Hannah - just keep it in mind fer the next time. :001: But its a feckin great feeling. :022:- Team for game against Celtic
I would always play 4-1-4-1 against the OF home and away. I would always play Bayne as the lone striker away but would look fer a more cultured, mobile striker at home - as we dont have one I would go with Niculae. Duncan is the key man in that system by the way.- ICT -V- Hibernian : Matchday Thread
Once a feckin teacher - always a teacher - Dunce hat in the corner fer Tin can.- More congratulations!!!
If its a girl - why dont they call her Barry Robson. :001: Congrats.- Marius
He will soon be international class and will have us all roaring on at Euro 2008.- Marius fer Romania ?
:004: delusions of grandeur - a delusion (common in paranoia) that you are much greater and more powerful and influential than you really are. "It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.? Or as my tutor at University wrote in my appraisal - ?All are lunatics, but he who can analyze his delusion is called a philosopher.?- Marius fer Romania ?
I am reliably infomed that Marius has been contacted by the RSPA and may well be included in their next squad - I believe that is the Romanian Saritura Puricelui Association - Great news.- The Impact of a Good Win - Research Project
And Paul Lambert and Colin Hendry and Richard Gough. :023:- Team for game against Celtic
It simply has to be the same personnel and the same system.- Marius
:clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: Thank you RIG - somebody has finally got the feckin message - as well as Brew. :022: But they have to gel into the system. :023:- Club Spirit
Hooray fer Eliza and her G-spot. :crazy07:- The Impact of a Good Win - Research Project
Research is one of my faves - so happy to oblige: No. My drinking pattern rarely deviates. Making love twice a day has been a lifelong habit. I would rather climb over the three Munros as the Corbetts are dodgy cnuts from the Ferry. I never moan - I postulate and/or pontificate. I am forbidden from looking cheerful at the TCS. My concience is clear and I sleep like a log. It is a known fact that Chick Young is an alien. Only time will tell. I am a master craftsman - I cure the afflicted - it is my calling. Marius is my pet project and I will be publicising my research project in the New Year and expect to receive an Honours Degree from Bucharest University. Rankin has the best left foot in the SPL.- Marius fer Romania ?
From the Scottish Sunday Mail: MARIUS NICULAE is dreaming of starring at Euro 2008 after finally shattering his SPL duck with a deadly double. The Romanian international, who has 12 goals from 28 caps, ensured resurgent Caley heaped fresh misery on their Edinburgh visitors. Having previously only netted against Alloa in Scotland, the former Sporting Lisbon striker is ****-bent on facing France, Italy and Holland in next summer's group of death. The 26-year-old, who struck the second after Hibs were denied a goal that should have stood, believes a recall to the international fold can happen. Niculae, who last played for his country against Colombia in summer 2006, admitted: "It was hard until today. I'd come so close to scoring and had a lot of chances but not much luck. "I missed a penalty at Easter Road, hit the woodwork and been blocked so often. "It affects your morale because strikers thrive on goals. People expected much when I first came here so it's stressful to wait so long. "But now, finally, I find myself. I feel all right tonight and I feel my luck is with me and I can build on it. "Getting back into Romania's squad means everything to me - I'll fight for that. "I've spoken to the national coach and he says everything depends on how I do here. "I'm sure he will call me if I can get the performances and goals. "It would be a dream but like Scotland in the qualifiers we have a group of death."- Team Spirit
.....which, in my book, has to be down to the manager! This is perplexing - we are beginning to agree with each other. Got to hand it to Brew - he is often a pig headed, arrogant sod but he does stick to his guns when it comes down to discipline. I would also say that he played 4-5-1 or 4-1-3-1-1 in his first spell but he got there this time becos of injuries and suspensions. There was a bitter taste left in the departure of CC which I felt was really noticeable - hopefully we have turned the corner.- ICT vs Celtic...
:clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: Now you mention it - there is a certain resemblance between Marius and Bonnie Prince Charlie. :023: - More congratulations!!!
