  1. Reading between the lines I think that syas that Zander has a chance but bye bye to the rest cos I dont like them. ?It is a two-way thing. It has got to suit the players and it has got to suit the club." :023: ?I don?t think anyone has thought about how the chairman?s departure would affect the club." :029: ?Caley Thistle is a well-run club" :023: ?I think things will continue as smoothly as they have in the past." :sillywave: ?The club will move on. It is not about any individual. It is about the entire club progressing." - except Crair Brewster :018: ?The board will work closely with Craig Brewster to see that we move forward in the SPL.? :rotflmao: :rotflmao: "The manager has talked to various players about aspects of their contracts and he is very good at dealing with the players." :rotflmao: :rotflmao: THIS GETTING BEYOND A JOKE :008:
  2. Is he just an angry old git or does he just need to chill - here is some advice to Mad Berk. Entitlement is the belief that you have the right to do or get something. In social interactions, it is considering your right to do or get something to be superior the rights of those who may want you to do or get something else. When you feel entitled, you are not merely disappointed when others disagree with you or fail to accommodate your presumed rights, you feel cheated and wronged, which produces anger and a stronger sense of entitlement as compensation. Of course, once you're older than five and not cute anymore, the world is not likely to meet your entitlement needs. So it gets to be a downward spiral -- the more you don't get what you think you deserve, the more justified you feel in demanding compensation. The person who cuts in front of you in line is often saying, "With the way I've been treated, I shouldn't have to wait in line, too!" Not surprisingly, criminals, domestic violence offenders, aggressive drivers, and abusers of all kinds have been observed to have an exaggerated sense of entitlement. Unfortunately, exaggerated entitlement is not merely the domain of those who run afoul of the law. In the daytime talk-show, self-help, personal-growth mania that dominates popular culture, we are entitled not just to the pursuit of happiness, not even just to happiness, but to feeling good most of the time. I believe this new sense of entitlement, this "cult of feeling good," is partly responsible for the reported sharp increases in anger and stress. Chances are, the emotional states you observe most often in the course of a typical day is some form of low-grade resentment, usually manifest as impatience, agitation, annoyance, irritability, sarcasm, superiority, or frustration, plus entitlement. Resentment comes from a perception of unfairness; you're not getting the expected help, relief, consideration, praise, reward, or affection, i.e., you're not getting that to which you feel entitled. :011:
  3. What I was alluding to was that the international stats - which are impressive - were from FIVE years ago - so in my terminology he used to be / was a proven international player - you have to prove it in the here and now as far as I am concerned. Personally I feel that the "pace and movement" may have been affected by an unfortunate sufferance of fairly major injury problems. I suspect that his strolling style was always there as it is with many Eastern Europeans - his ability and skill are of a higher dimension. The big difference is that he used to possess the ability to change his pace - e.g dropping back, playing a pass and moving into an attacking position quickly - he does not possess that any longer. That is why I have always called for him to play on the last man at home and why he is "lost" playing in a 4-5-1 system away from home - when he drops back for possession but neither is he a "target man". Savage and co. made him " a lamb to the slaughter". Marius may have personally benefitted from the enforced systems but ICT clearly havent. I also alluded to a higher level as being higher than the SPL - I would put the English Prem - Serie A - Bundesliga - La Liga and possibly the French Prem into that category. I suspect that Marius could build up quite a reputation in the SPL but he wouldnt make it at the Old Filth - he could also perform at a high level in the Eastern European or the Scandinavian set ups. I hope that he is not arrogant and deluded enough to go to a higher level where some teams will take his past into account and I am afraid that he may fall on his face. To be honest i wasnt surprised that he got a call up to a friendly and I am glad that he got a chance - I am also surprised at the apparent dearth of top strikers available to Romania so he may well get in their squad as a back up forward - spending most of his time on the bench. But I bet Marius would be only too happy to be just part of the set up. What to you is a higher level ? And finally - of course he is happy in Inverness - He is getting a regular first team game; his fitness levels have improved significantly; he actually appears to have an endearing personality; he was on the point of the "black hole" of football and he has got himself back into the international reckoning - plus he is getting valuable career advice from my good self. :001: I reckon that if he stays he can only improve further - especially if we find a "partner" with pace and think about the system not the individual player -if he goes he had better think very carefully about his choices.
  4. Is it ?12 fer the kiddies as well ?
  5. A good read from fans as much in the dark as we are :024: http://forums.chesterchronicle.co.uk/viewt...299&start=0
  6. From the deck of the HMS Sneck - 16/04/2008
  7. ? One gets rid of aliens - the other gets rid of rats
  8. I dont know how anybody rates Soutar - He is totally hit and miss as the Cup Semi proved - I rate him on a par with Zibi but he has just had more first team experience of late. I would agree with RIG that Lovell is practically the only player who could be within our sphere of capturing and who I would welcome. Without upsetiing the sulky scholar too much - I cannot believe that we are not looking at the boy Fleming from Gretna and, as I alluded to in ma Gretna report, the boy Kissock on loan from Everton looked absolute class - if he was fitter and leaner - WOW. So why arent we on the blower to Davie Moyes - shurely a season with us would be better than Gretna.
  9. Yet more personal insults - I must be doing my "job" - :rotflmao: Feckin great psychology - I have got nearly everything spot on this season and I get abuse from the jealous ones - Why cant peeple just accept that I am a true SEER. As fer this thread - Absolute garbage from a distant bitter student. The club is in a feckin mess - If ya didnt feckin notice. :018:
  10. FW put the fizz on ma tattoo and I was no longer a virgin but I certainly had "vie".
  11. Pass the feckin spliff dude. You are talking more utter garbage than Caley Mad Berk. :crazy07:
  12. Of course it is true - It is part and parcel of the game. :029: He has just been caught but nothing will come of it - As per usual the players will pay the price.
  13. I would like to award this tracksuit to Manky Tapper
  14. Who are ya feckin talkin to - Charles the feckin first or Charles the feckin second. :crazy07:
  15. Do you mean Steve Banks and Pele Paterson ? My personal favourites were Cowie's goal at Midden from a Niculae cross and Cowie's free kick at Killie and Bazza's at Gretna.
  16. Tapping up happens all the time but only amateurs get caught. :020:
  17. So you have never seen him perform away from home - the defence rests. :sillywave: As I have always stated the class and the quality are obvious - the performance is often lacking - although improving. Hey Stevieco - Have you noticed that since I have been more positive about Marius and calmed down the wind ups - I am getting more feckin stick. :rotflmao:
  18. :rotflmao: That is your misperception - fer fecks sake you can now read my feckin mind. And the only Prem teams that utilise a squad rotation system are basically the top four - and now Utd and Chelsea tend to play their "squad" players in the "lesser" competitions. Most of the others play as close to their first team choices most of the time. I honestly dont think that he would "survive" in such competition due to his weaknesses. I sincerely hope that he stays with ICT and lowers his wages. He may continue to prosper here but may dull into the background if he tries to "move up". How many times have you actually watched Marius play this season by the way ?
  19. We were linked with the Graham Bayne lookalike and the seasoned pro in the Xmas transfer window - when we were desperately seeking a central defender - Butler may have been a good stop gap but shurely not now - Did Brew not make a statement at that time that we were not going ahead with a bid etc. Anyway the player we were originally seeking was Bolland but we were quickly knocked back- as I told you all last December. What is more worrying is that our management paid Malky to go and watch the Shrewsbury and Wrexham game !!!
  20. From what I am hearing Brew is far from happy with his current predicament - Bad result against Killie could be he Last Post - or will he jump anyway ?
  21. I thought the last ones did !! :023:
  22. Ehh? How will he not? How did you come to that decision?! He already has. I think he would prosper in a better team. To say a proven international can not make it at a higher level than Inverness is just plain daft and very biased. PS. Don't have a blindfold of any sort! A PROVEN INTERNATIONAL ?? - One "friendly" cap in the last five years !! - it is about TODAY not yesteryear. I am simply saying that he has lost the required pace and movement to play at a much higher level on a "regular" basis - I would suspect that he would be a "squad" player in a more illustrious team. I just couldnt see him surviving in the English Prem or any of the other top European leagues. I am actually suggesting that he stays where he is and we look to buy players who fit into a system to accomodate him and use him to his CURRENT strengths. If he does get into the Romanian squad whilst performing as he does with ICT - is he not on a winner ??
