Result Was at the County game. A Brewster 'inspired' performance They were truly awful although I have to admit the ref was possibly the worst I've ever seen and gave everything to Dundee. Griffiths might be a ned but he's a cracking wee player. I'd love us to sign him

New Signings in January
Only my opinion but he's been poor in all the games I've seen him play. Perhaps he performs better away from home? Actually thinking about it more depending on which games you attend you can have quite a skewed opinion of the team in general.

Some of the County fans actually want Brewster as the manager!!!

McCann on a permanent deal?? or at least until the end of the season. I'm hoping McCann gets sent back to Hibs. Apart from his wonder goal against United he's been pretty poor

New Signings in January
I think a decent right back should be the first priority

Matchday Thread: ICT -V- Motherwell
Don't think we can have any complaints with the results especially as we didn't start playing till 20 minutes from the end. Things might have been different if we taken one of the decent chances we had in the first half but it wasn't to be. Esson pulled off some great saves to keep the score respectible but Motherwell were worth there lead albeit with the flukiest of goals. Our defence looked shaky again with Shinnie been given a torrid time by the Well number 7 and the clueless McCann passing to the opposition at every oppurtunity. Perhaps more worringly Foran was very poor as were Eric, Hayes & Duff. The introduction of Sutherland for Ritchie seemed to galvanise the team and we had them on the backfoot for the last 20 minutes and we gave it a good go but it wasn't to be. Hopefully our tremendous away form continues on Tuesday night as our performances at home leave a lot to be desired

DOES RYAN ESSON HAVE A SCOTTISH GRANNIE?
I think the OP comments were intended tongue in cheek

Glad to see McCann has been dropped and Duncan starts. Expecting a tough game today. I'd be happy with a draw

Throw Ins
I know this topic has been discussed before but nothing seems to being done about. It beggars belief how bad we are at taking them and all we end up doing is wasting time before inevitably handing possession back to the opposition.

We were feckin hopeless in the first half and only a great save from Esson kept us in the match. Who knows what Tokely was thinking when he ducked under the ball which led to their goal. We didn't get going in the second half until Butcher hooked the abysmal McCann replacing him with Duncan and swapped Foran with Ross. Hopefully Butcher now realises that Ritchie is wasted in defensive midfield. I think today is definitely a point gained as we were second best for the majority of the match.

Melville / Dundee / 25pt Deduction
Griffiths would be a great signing for us but it's not going to happen. Wonder which of our relegation rivals he'll join?

ICT's Key Player?
Playing with the current formation it's not Foran it's Rooney

I wonder if Brewster is colouring in his application as we speak?

Matchday Thread: ICT -V- Aberdeen
Delighted I have finally seen us beat Aberdeen Comfortable win in the end but let's face it Aberdeen were dire and we probably should have beaten them by more. Will be interested to see the Paton & Tokely challenges again. Thought there man was maybe unlucky to get sent off and Tokely lucky to stay on. Hopefully the first of many home wins

Right back is far more of a problem for us just now than the left

Only 6 on the bench? Golly injured? Just wish we were able to drop Proctor

Butcher upbeat despite cup defeat
Why do folk keep saying it was our reserves/2nd team? 7 or 8 of last nights side are likely to start on Saturday

Dropping Proctor would be a start YES! No-one really impressed tonight, but this boy was woeful. Why is it that every time someone is running at him he backs off and backs off until he gets into the box before putting a risky challenge in. Tuffey played well considering he let in 6. Some major defensive changes need to happen in January. Golly and proctor out. About 4 in! This just shows the complete lack of depth in our squad. Not worried though, there are far worse teams than us in this league Out of interest who do you think are worse than us Granty24?
