  1. Hope Black & Duncan are both back tomorrow. Kerr & Mcbain did nothing special last week to warrant reselection
  2. To be fair there were a lot of people who were delighted when Brewster returned.
  3. It was all about the points today so I'm delighted we won. However, that was a shockingly bad game pretty much devoid of any skill. Not sure if it was the pitch, the sun in there eyes or the wind but the players on both sides struggled to play football from start to finish! I'm still trying to decide which was worse Bamba's volley or Imrie's free kick Still congrats to all on a much needed win :thumb04:

Don't think Hibs have beaten us here. I know they've only scored 1 goal! God i hope we win tomorrow. Trouble is we also have to hope Falkirk lose or at best draw

Was going to go up and watch County v Dundee but that's postponed. Think I shall stay in and watch this game now
  6. Today is meant to be the last day of the really cold weather. I'd be surprised if it was off.
  7. When is the draw for the next round happening now?
  8. Good battling result in a pretty poor game. The snow made it 'interesting'. Glad it stopped when it did. Thought the ref had a shocker today. Will need to see the 'penalty' incident again but I thought Fernandez dived. The red card was very harsh as well. Kyle certainly caught Proctor with his elbow but it looked purely accidental to me. Pass marks for pretty much the whole team today although I assume Imrie got MOTM for his workrate as his end product today was negligible. Foran needs more games. Proctor was anonymous but Lionel played well (never thought I'd be saying that :thumb04: ) as did young Eric for a spell in the first half. Another clean sheet is also a major bonus. Not bothered who we get in the next round as long as we get a home tie. How times have changed Respect to the Killie fans for making the long journey up here - I never expected there to be so many of them. Probably 3-400 hardy soles

He definitely isn't match fit yet. Probably need 3 or 4 more games to get up to speed
  10. Has signed as a Player/Coach for County! Perhaps they want to be 2nd Division champions again!!
  11. kencar replied to nak108's topic in General Football
    I believe its somewhere between ?0 - ?150K
  12. Kerr won't feature against Killie as he isn't match fit. So says TB in today's P&J
  13. Don't care what Hibs or Motherwell fans think of him, it's what he does in an ICT shirt that matters! Is he an attacking or defensive central midfielder? I must have seen him play but for the life of me I can't remember him at all

Cowie has left the building according to the official Watford site COWIE OFFSKI 2 & 1/2 year deal for Don and a nominal fee for us

That was his fourth start in a row so he's had a fair crack of the whip. Rooney, however, hasn't and has still scored more goals!!
  16. Now Hearts have a couple of million from selling Berra I wonder if they will offer a cheeky nominal fee for Black?
  17. Kevin Kyle caused BIG problems for St Mirren on Saturday our defence will have their work cut out for them

I feared the worst when I heard he was starting but he did OK. His 'performance' against Partick Thistle will, however, live long in my memory and that's why he should only be used as a last resort.
  19. Kerr is unattached so we could sign him even after the window closes
  20. Lionel at left back!! Oh dear Anyway off to the game. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
  21. Quite a mess Brewster has left us in
  22. According to teletext both have signed till the end of the season LINK
  23. Djebi-Zadi is a left back - alledegedly Seriously though we are paying the bloke for nothing - our very own Balde
  24. Butcher will also expand our horizons south of the border. Still a well known name down there and I wouldn't be surprsied if we get some exposure on 5Live tonight, something that would have been unlikely if Robbo got the gig

He does have a very laid back approach to the game which may come across to some as lack of commitment/effort. I think it can only be a good thing that we have someone in the side that will try the unexpected/difficult pass. We have plenty of others who will 'get stuck in' Potentially he could easily be one of our best ever players Let's hope we tie him up on a long deal soon
