  1. It would be great if McDonald wasn't fit, he always gives our defenders a tough game :006:
  2. Charlie was bigging up Zander on the ICT Teletext page tonight. He has a strong chance of starting on Saturday

    hibs reject

I'm sure I heard Sunderland were after him and we have PLENTY midfielders
  4. Latest on Dargo from the Press & Journal 19/4/07....... Caley Thistle manager Charlie Christie is willing to be patient in his attempt to keep striker Craig Dargo at the club beyond the summer. Former Kilmarnock forward Dargo, the club's leading scorer last season, is out of contract at the end of the campaign and has yet to commit himself to a new contract with the Caledonian Stadium club. The player has made clear his desire to assess his options before signing a new contract in Inverness. But, with fellow SPL side Motherwell the latest club to show an interest in the forward, Christie admits he has no idea where Dargo's future lies. He said: "Craig has said he will leave it to the end of the season and we've made him an extremely good offer. "We want him to stay at the club and he knows how much I value him as a player. "But to be realistic, there may well be several other clubs competing for his signature. "I must stress we have heard absolutely nothing from any team and there has been no approach from anyone." With Inverness enjoying a rare free weekend due to the Scottish Cup semi-finals last weekend, Christie and his coaching staff used the time to view some more potential signing targets. The Highlanders need one more win to be sure of their SPL status for next season. But Christie is stepping up his squad strengthening plans for next season as Darren Dods will leave to join Dundee United. I was wondering why I couldn't find any ICT stories on the new P&J site and I found this story in the Aberdeen section!! D'oh!!
  5. Aint going to get much for £150k mannie... need that to build a standard 3 bed bungalow, unless of course its all one big shed with everything shared :017: If only we knew someone in the building trade who could give us a good deal!! :016:
  6. It appears to be true :010: LINK I wonder who would replace them??
  7. McBain's best position is in the centre :017: Think he means Rankin should play in the middle instead of McBain with Markus out on the left Let's hope Dargo is fit for the game as after reading the reports from the reserve match it sounds like Rory's form and confidence have hit rock bottom
  8. Graham Rix in the running at Livi now
  9. Apparently Dargo is a doubt for Saturday's game :007:
  10. Rather see Markus play wide left and Rankin in the middle but I think Harry has the team Charlie will pick it
  11. I think Butcher is a good call for this job. Not sure if they'd risk giving it to Brewster
  12. Not quite true there ken. He was granted a permit when he was brought here in the first place, and wasn't in his national team then so what changed when he applied for an extension, and how come the extension was easily obtained when St Johnston took him? Oh! and I'm not a united fan. Don't shoot the messenger this is what Murdo McLeod said yesterday on national radio and apparently Scotland was back in the national squad when St Johnstone applied for a work permit. He even said he thought the rules were wrong and should be changed but the panel had no other choice because at the time he didn't fulfil the criteria Anyway this is going a bit off topic. I doubt we could afford Scotland anyway, if the rumours are true he's heading for the Championship
  13. You united fans really need to get over this :015: Macleod even spoke about it on the radio yesterday. The reason he wasn't granted a work permit was because he wasn't in his national team and therefore did not meet the requirements for the work permit. End of story. He wasn't even considered a first team regular by your management team at the time and just because he is now scoring for fun you lot seem to think you've been hard done by :015:
  14. Paul Ritchie is available on a free transfer this summer. Still only 31
  15. Arguably one of the biggest games in County's history and such a small crowd?? Did they not count the seagulls flying over in there attendance today? Morgan shares a car up with Dargo and Dods. Any coincidence with them off he won't be making the journey north?
  16. How much is each SPL place worth?
  17. 2 names mentioned but only 1 is a serious target and he doesn't play for St Mirren :014:
  18. The Courier article toady said we weren't interested in entering the Intertoto Cup and that there would be 3 new players this summer + Cowie!
  19. What you fail to realise is that they are backed by a millionaire. I imagine there players earn more than ours do. Why else would David Bingham leave a club promoted to the SPL to join a 2nd Division side? I think himself will deep one more time into his pockets should they get promoted :006:
  20. Are you sure you didn't hear the version he prepared for his parents. I doubt that even professional footballers don't train that much!! Sounds like he rather be with his mates hanging round shops than playing football :014:
  21. Unfortunately the Daily Express had a wee titbit today quoting CC saying he hoped that Stuart McAffrey & Richard Hastings would sign new 1 year deals in the next couple of days!! :018: One wonders what the **** is going on!! It's the whole Ian Black signing shambles yet again :008:
  22. Can I have some of what you are taking? :016:
  23. Top scorer 2 years in a row - of course we will miss him :007:
  24. You may well turn out to be right Jaggy666 but I think most of us on here would be a bit disappointed/surprised that he's made such a sideways career move when allegedly much big teams than Motherwell were in the frame to sign him
  25. Never seen him play either but is he not another big 'target' man? As, when and if Dargo leaves I think we'd be better trying to replace him with a pacey striker rather another bloke to lump it up to
