  1. I think the fact that Munro has extended his contract is the best deal out of the 3. He would be the only one mentioned that I could see another team trying to sign. McBain did deliver a killer cross for the goal last night, that can't be argued but he contributed little else and his continued presence in the team mystifies me. I really don't see what he brings to the team

Just curious to see what everyone else thinks
  3. Actually I think thats a pretty fair assesment of our team, especially the comments about Bayne & McBain
  4. Why did you think the ref had a good game? :016: Perhaps my frustration is coming through as negative, I really thought we had done enough to win the game and then to concede the equalisier so late on was just a big kick in the nuts (pardon my French)

It was a £5 voucher and it was taped to the seats
  6. Real sickener to lose it at the death but we just seemed to back off them the last 5 minutes. Pretty poor game but I really thought we did enough to merit the win. Was quite surprised to see 3 centre forwads on the bench tonight as well. Who was that feckin ref?? He was pish :008:
  7. Doubt Rory or Zander would be loaned out as we need to have them in the squad because of the Under 21 rules
  8. Add Morgan & Hart to the above list. Pretty much anyone in the reserves apart from Golly who doesn't want to go on loan
  9. :016: :015:
  10. Obviously all his UEFA coaching badges didn't cover cliches or meterology. Surely wind and gales are one and the same :006: He should be more worried that Hibs have a dodgy keeper :015:
  11. Pools panel gave it as a home win so fingers crossed :005:
  12. I'm afraid Rangers will probably hump United but 2nd would be nice :004:
  13. There's been specualtion about contract extensions since the summer. Remember how long the Black saga dragged on :006: Only yesterday I saw Dargo quoted as saying he wasn't currently in talks with the club over a new contract and that the club weren't putting any pressure on him to sign. Could be a case the advanced talks are with players with, the greatest respect, aren't prime targets for other clubs eg Barry Wilson. Of the 'Big' 3 - I suspect Dods will leave in the summer, Brown probably will and Dargo might

    ALLRIGHTERrrrrrrrr :015:
  15. Well Deserved :025: :025: :025: Keep up the good work :021:
  16. Wyness & Hart may come into the reckoning for the game depending how they do in the reserve match Apparently picking Duncan was a tactical decision because of the way St Mirren play
  17. As its manager of the MONTH surely only the games played in October that would count :014:
  18. I always get in wrong when I try and guestimate our potential points total Tough run of fixtures though Anything more than 3 points would be a bonus

Was Peter Davidson not the fitness coach??
  20. Are you going to retract your e-mail A96 after all Aberdeen are ahead of us in the league now :006:
  21. Wonder if we could persuade Iain Stewart to do a bit of coaching for us
  22. I'm sure the Hearts fans won't giving the guy dogs abuse throughout the match :006: Of course he shouldn't have responded/retaliated but it smacks of double standards

Dods will be gone by the summer if not sooner. I wonder if the club would be tempted to sell him come January if they got a decent offer for him?
  24. Nae chance - Dunfermline have zero cash - luckily for us
  25. I think Brew got what he deserved. He knew the DU was a poisoned chalice but he thought he was good enough to turn things around. Obviously he wasn't he didn't even last a year :006: No one will ever know what he might have achieved if he'd stayed here but in many ways now I'm glad he left. We even got paid for the priveldge of him leaving :015: His main influence was to get the squad fitter, sign Dargo and he was still a decent player for us as well. His tactical/managerial skills however are questionable at best. I remember towards the end of his reign we were asking why he made pointless changes a couple of minutes before the end and why our main tactic was always to punt the ball up to him. I really don't understand why Dunfermline would even consider appointing him as there manager, I really don't. I think a few years of learning the management trade at a lower level is really what he needs if he wants to pursue a career in management. Even more astounding is why Levein would take the DU job!! I always thought he was a reasonably intelligent guy but it doesn't looks like now. Talk about taking on a challenge. I suppose these guys have to be confident in there own abilities to turn things around but even still......
