  1. Ritchie and Wyness together were awesome and an absolute delight to watch - yup, no worries about our strikers back then. His last game for us was the final match played at the old Brockville, a great day tinged with the disappointing news of his departure - a true CaleyJags legend!
  2. Yer right, I forgot the 1st legs of the play-offs start that day - well if it doesn't go ahead tomorrow we'll be having to squeeze in a Thursday night game before the 28th - let's hope the combined garden forks of the Dumbarton faithful do the trick!
  3. HT: 0-0 FT: 1-2 ICT: Oakley Sons: Walsh Crowd: 666
  4. I've just checked the forecast for Dumbarton over the next 24 hours, there's a fair chance of heavy showers this evening and again around midday tomorrow so they may very well be fighting a losing battle. If that's the case we could be looking at going for Tuesday 1st May - now that actually sounds quite tasty if we can take out Dunfermline on Saturday!
  5. Ok agreed it's not the best scenario but it's not any worse than playing on a Saturday with a game on Tuesday - it's still a 2 day gap between matches. With putting the 'one game at a time' hat on, it's good to have the extra rest day before travelling to Dumbarton as that is our next must-win game and we don't have to travel down the road to Dunfermline.
  6. Excellent result - but it's only half-time... ...same again on Tuesday please

  8. Forfar @ 4.00 please...
  9. Arabs beat St Midden 1-0 so the 3 points were vital for us given the other two results
  10. 94th minute for 3-2 FT 1-0 so job done
  11. A Morton own goal - thanks chaps
  12. HT 0-0 Twitter feed makes it sound like a lively start - could do with the same 2nd half but with a goal or 2...
  13. I find this all so very sad that friends with common interests and goals should fall out in this way. Unfortunately, rules are rules, and when it comes to company law there can be no grey areas. I just hope this can all be sorted out soon and amicably to the benefit of all concerned and the club in general.
  14. It's very reminiscent of the 2003/2004 run in to promotion - Robbo had a great squad for that push and their team spirit helped them enormously. The Irn-Bru cup win seems to have helped gel this squad together, they have shown they've got the ability and although it's a tough task (and most likely a forlorn hope) I wouldn't bet against Robbo pulling off an unbeaten run for a 4th place finish. Given the toughness of this league though, others will drop points along the way so we may not need to win them all to do it. Whatever happens, after where we were back at the start of October, I'm just delighted to see us in a position where it's still possible and we're the masters of our own destiny - go fer it!

  22. It counts for enough Yngwie - takes a huge load of pressure off from Dumbarton below us and a back to back off the cup win must be a massive boost for their confidence - great result
