What's so ridiculous about it? When the chips were down, he couldn't do the job that we were paying him to do. He probably knew he couldn't do the job. Why then did he not quit? I'd have a lot more respect for him if he did. And I don't for a second believe that he was trying his best. From the moment we originally hired him to be a player/manager, he never had the clubs best interests at heart. So you genuinely believe that Brewster didn't care that we were at the bottom of the league and struggling? That is the biggest pile of pap I've ever heard. I believe he did care and did try his best, just wasn't up to it either at United or ICT the man is not a football manager no matter how much he cares Ofcourse he tried his best, we're in agreement there. However is there any evidence to suggest that Butcher is the correct man for the job, after all he couldn't keep us up. And there are far inferior squads in the SPL to ours. Unless he scores against ICT next season? Sounds like you would enjoy that

perhaps locking it would be a bit harsh but perhaps for non ict as thankfully the man has got nothing to do with the club anymore and never will again

If the board had realised when the majority of the fans did that Brewster was not up to it we may well still be in the SPL

Sorry to see both Pavel and Vigurs going, with the case of Pavel I think it may have been to costly for us. With Vigurs I think he has great potential but like others have said we haven't had the chance to work with him every day so don't know what his attitude is like. Butcher has to surround himself in players he thinks can get us back to the SPL simple as that.

The thing is Butcher took us to position where we were almost safe for which he deserves credit for but then things collapsed for which he also has to take some of the blame

When I seen him come on yesterday had a funny feeling he was going to be our saviour, sadly wasnt to be. He will probably be one of the highest earners in the division next season will he cut it at that level?

going to be very difficult an a lot depends on what players we keep and what sort of plan/budget the board have in mind for this senario

I'm just saying he's a much more effective full back than centre back. I'd also suggest Mihadjuks is a more effective centre back than he is a full back.... Johnboy I agree when I seen the teamsheet today I was surprised I dont know enough about Pavel to say he is not a RB but know Tokley is a RB
