I take it these figures are purely your opinion and not actually factual ? IMO Aberdeen have a far bigger fanbase than 11000 and the Edinburgh clubs have much more than 27000 . I would imagine that Alex meant average attendance of home fans rather that fanbase.

I think that been captain had a negative effect on Grants overall game, some players thrive on been captain and some don't. I think Tokley would thrive on it and for that reason he would be my choice.

Was speaking to Marius tonight and Dinamo have appointed a new manager Dario Bonetti, apparently him and his brother managed Dundee a while back, can anyone remember them I can't.

Exactly and lets not forget he didn't even have the luxury of getting in before transfer window opened so had a few new signings that were not even his but Brewsters. For me Butcher will be judged on what he does from now and getting Foran to sign is a great start.

If Dougie stays and doesn't feel he is now above the 1st division I think he will be a great asset next season.

I see where you are coming from but in my view they are fleeing Romania as they are offered better opportunities rather than being fearful of the upper classes in Romania

Responding to another post on this (split) thread, I have only ever met three Romanians - Mr and Mrs Niculae and Mrs Stevico. They were all absolutely charming. Indeed some of the Irish bigots who have got themseles into trouble with the police over this might even be tempted to seek the services of Mrs Niculae, who happens to be a highly trained lawyer. No doubt their new assistant manager will be working closely with them on their fitness levels. Johnboy you are right he was putting them through their paces round the track at the aquadome, it was all Brew that was taking the training wit,h Adams just hanging about watching

Seen County when I was at the gym today and it seemed that they had there squad in place for next season and were back in training, I know that Morton were back in training this week as well, I realise that our boys might be getting a bit longer as their season finished a bit later but are we going to be lagging behind those that have their squad in place and have started training together already ?

I dont know but whatever happened between him and Butcher must have been fairly serious for him to be left out at such a crucial stage of the season, can only hope that the summer break has eased whatever went on

The fact is whether they were Romani Gypsies or not doesn't mean that violence against them should be tolerated. While Romania Gypsies are a minority in Romania I did not have one problem with them during my years in Romania. In Romania they have a hard life, its almost impossible for them to get a job and if I was in their position and I could leave to a country where my life was made a bit easier I would. Its not them thats at fault, its the system they live in Romania that is. The only thing they are guilty of is trying to make a better life for their family.

Met him in the gym today as County were training there, he is registered as a player but will probably not play

Think its difficult to rank them as most of them have been in charge of the team in different divisions, would Pele have been successful with the club in the SPL, who knows.
