A lot of this basically boils down to 'it's not the SPL'. Five years of each of the SPL and the First Division - there's a lot of stuff that's better in the First, just a shame about the big financial difference for the club.

I don't blame Ross - whether the sending off was justified or not, Ross acted in a split second on instinct just as I would have done. The fact we were in the SPL at all owes a lot to Ross, and we were not relegated because of his game today.

I think that's an over-valuation of what I saw at Love Street! Still, quite tempting - we'll be concentrating on the league by then, so performances will have improved without the cup to worry about...
