  1. Jim Hamilton has been released from St Mirren and given he worked under TB and MM i wouldnt be suprised to see him here next season.
  2. Shanes scoring record is pritty good and i saw Gav play against Clach once and he scored an awesome free-kick. Used to play with him in the BBs, great player.
  3. Thats disgusting, regardless of where they are.
  4. Good to know he is still seriously thinking staying here. I also think that if he stays then it may encourage Kerr to stay as well. That would be really good.

    Cis Cup

Be an intresting game i'm sure.
  6. Insisted on
  7. I discovered yesterday that we can't sign players for a fee this summer....words of the great Graeme Bennett.
  8. Vigurs will be an excellent signing and it'll be a good chance for Garry Wood to improve by playing on a regular basis. Good luck to them. Usually they balance the books by losing 4 or 5 players due to them leaving or County letting them go. That frees up some space and money to bring in a few.
  9. I thought it would be one of the dance groups that win. And i agree. Susan Boyle was beginning to struggle after her performance, poor woman. Great singer.
  10. Craig McMillan and Paul McMullan as well. McMullan was signed from Hearts, never played and then left in less than 6 months.
  11. Don't know if he will be of but i do agree with what IHE is saying about funds. And don't frighten me like that again. I almost collapsed when i read the title.

    Les Fridge

If it's decent goalkeeping we want then Les Fridge wouldn't be my idea. I agree with blackieforce, Jim Calder would be much better but does he have coaching badges?
  16. No you are right. I would agree with what Alex has said though.

    Barrowman

One of Brewster's biggest mistakes was offering him the wages he did. And now we are stuck with him. I can only hop that Butcher will get the best out of him in the 1st division.
  18. Not quite. The Courier seems to give a rather differing opinion to that of the P&J. They seem under the impression that Odhiambo is staying on and they also seem a bit more hopeful on Foran and Kerr's situation. The only thing they really seem to agree on is that Morais is on his way which is dissapointing. Believe who you choose.
  19. Kenny Deuchar is a free agent. He's a doctor of long ballology :P His Long ballology is heading to St Johnstone.
  20. If we don't keep a hold of Foran, Kerr, Odhiambo and Morais then i'am hoping that will free up some cash to bring a few more players than originally planned. It's dissapointing that we can't keep a hold of them but it wasn't much different in the SPL.
  21. Unless we get a target man signed up in the summer we are going to struggle with long ball. While i absolutely loath it i'm yet to see us really try anything different.
  22. Looking forward too it. Hopefully it will be an easy win.
  23. I'm sorry but i completely disagree Pugsy. We may not have had the worst squad but it was certainly lacking any real experience or leaders and then when things started going bad Brewster started tinkering ridiculously with the team to the point where people didn't know what position they play. Yes we can blame the players but at the end of the day we are blaming a set of players most of who were signed by him. The home form was humiliating as well. One win before he got sacked. That is pathetic at any level and it was at a point where people didn't want to go to games anymore. That is one thing Butcher changed. We only lost 2 home games while Butcher was in charge in the league. Butcher did all he could. There where times when he got the best out of the squad he had and brought in 2 players of a good calibre in Brian Kerr and Richie Foran. Unfortunately what relegated us was the barren spell of 8 straight defeats in December/January time and given the bottom 6 was so tight this season it was always going to be tough to try and survive, let alone coast. After about 4 or 5 games i started to worry as players were severly underperforming and Brewster just seemed to stand aroud with his arms folded hoping his team would perform. Fans pay good money to see this team play so when things look to be going wrong they have every right to voice there concerns and if they hadn't we would have been long gone. Butcher restored a bit of pride in the team and picked up some great results such as the Ibrox win and 0-0 with Celtic. The team did all they could after but it was all so tigh and unfortunately luck didn't swing our way but we will move on...it's all we can do.
  24. I can only hope that Foran's working relationship with Butcher might get him too stay but i won't hold my breath. Ta ta Filipe.
