Butcher's Style
As long as the ball hits the back of the net and we actually win games consistently i'm happy. But he does appear to get more out of his players. In just 2 games we've seen things we never thought we would see. Like a decent performance from Djebi-Zadi or back to back clean sheets, so whatever he is doing it seems to be working. I think he is slightly more old fashioned, adopting the traditional roll the sleeves up and get on with it kind of attitude. All i can say to it is keep it up.

Fernandez: Diver, Whinger Or Top Player?
Fernandez is a diving whinge and attention seeker. Defnitely wasn't a penalty on Saturday, possibly a foul but even then Fernandez threw himself an extra couple of yards to try and go into the area, or what he saw of it. I have no time for him whatsoever. Talented footballer but unfortunately for the former Celtic reject his play-acting overshadows it, severely.

Djebi-zadi
Should have been MOTM on Saturday, easily. I think the more he plays the better he will get, certainly can't see Hastings simply walking back into his position like he used too. And with Richie Byrne here as well that can only make it even more competitive.

The Butcher And Malpas Show
Am i right in thinking its Butcher who wanted this meeting? Either way its still great to see a manager taking time to actually tell fans about his ambitions for the club. I'm feeling more confident about staying up now anyway.

Cc's Best X1
Despite a relatively dissapointing end to his ICT career i always thought Golabek was a decent left back in his time at ICT.

Ian Harte Signs For St Mirren
A player who has truly fallen from grace.

Brewster Signs For Ross County
I would imagine the pair of them are plotting a way of permanently ending his playing career. :thumb04:

Dougie Imrie
Can understand why Butch went with it because before Saturday the last time Imrie and Barrowman were up front was when we won our only home game vs Killie. I agree with IHE he has shown on occasions before that he has the pace and determination of a wide-player. Only downfall is his crossing, he never looks to cross the ball.

We Need A Keeper!
McNulty made a couple of howlers in the 2 games i saw him play for the u'19s and from what i hard hasn't improved much at Elgin. Was looking at keepers that were available or never playing and noticed a few possibilitys. Graeme Smith(not Motherwell) Rangers current 3rd choice keeper and has been for nearly 2 seasons after joining them from Kilmarnock were he had dislodged Alan Combe as number 1 at the time. May be worth launching a bid for him with Rangers always looking to trim fringe players. Kelvin Jack Trinidad & Tobago international, played at the world cup with them in 2006. Used to play for Dundee and Gillingham. Suffered a broken leg while on trial at Barnsley and has been without a club since July i think. I think he's still in the UK so he may be worth a shot. Andy McNeil I'm not his biggest fan but he played really well for Hibs when they were up here in August and i believe he is leaving Hibs at the end of the season. Any thoughts? Sander Westerveld This guy's a real long shot and probably wouldn't give us a 2nd look but i know he's a free agent too after being released by some Dutch 2nd division team and has struggled to hold down a place for a couple of seasons. He helped Liverpool win the treble in 2001 but since then his career has spiralled a bit. You'll probably think i'm crazy for suggesting him but the only reason i did is he is available.

Don Cowie
I'm just glad we got money for at least one of the 3 PCA players. Anythings better than nothing.

Reserves
He can play right wing as well and given the pace he allegdly has thats no bad thing. Good to see Kerr and Byrne get some much needed playing time. If anywhere near fit enough i would love to see them involved in some capacity on Saturday.

The Board
If we stay up it would be great to point the finger at them and say we were right. Looking forward to the closing stages of the season

Brian Kerr signs
The squad looks so much stronger now, even with Cowie gone. Everything looks promising and i'am really looking forward to seeing the team in action come Saturday vs Killie. Hats of to i fine 4 days work from Terry.

New Signings
Really looking forward to tomorrow, hoping we can get some new faces, although i hope we do all our buisness in the morning because thats the only time i get private study on a Monday, meaning it's the only time i can check and they banned me from this website :thumb04:

Odhiambo
He reminded me a bit of Aluko at Aberdeen. Good bit of quick feet and not afraid to run at defenders, let's hope he's as successful as Aluko then.

Djebi-zadi
Last name i expected to see mentioned in the squad, let alone the starting line up. Couple of questions. How did you rate him today? Does he have a future at ICT under Butcher based on todays display?

Liverpool To Win The Title?
As a fan of LFC i would love this to be our year but they have dropped too many points against lesser teams like Fulham, Hull and Stoke, twice. They haven't strengthened at all in January due to the rift with the owners and unfortunately i think that may tell as the season draws to a close, plus the specualtion of Robbie Keane certainly dosen't appear to be helping. Although in saying that they pulled of a terrific late win today to show there still in it but i think all they can reallistically achieve is a very close second.

Mihadjuks
Such a drag. I can't find him on Fifa 09.
-
Ian Black
Was great to see him back and great to see that Butcher picked him. Showed as he put in a good shift today, hopefully he plays every game between no and the end of the season. He seems well up for it.

Barrowman
Thats what he got from Butcher today as he was subbed for Rooney and it's something Brew lacked as a manger imo, was good man managment skills. I think Terry seems to know how it's done as you could see the reactions of the players to him, it all seemed really positive. Thats the sort of thing our players have needed is a more positive attitude towards everything and i think that will only bring out the best in them, even Lionel had a half decent game today.
