Black Wants New Deal
Finally we are doing the sensible thing and not waiting till December.
-
Defender Required
Have we kept a clean sheet at all apart from some of the highland league teams during pre-season?
-
U19s Versus Clach
Shane Sutherland, Stuart Leslie and Gavin Morrsion, 3 to watch out for. The boy Shinnie at left-back was impressive as well at times.

Barry Wilson Testimonial Scarf
Being a loyal fan of both clubs im delighted :021:

Youngsters - how long is long enough
I say give McAllister a good kick up the a**e. :022: All you have to do is look at his Bebo to see what sort of lifestyle he lives off the pitch. It's no wonder he's so lazy the amount of alcohol he consumes. It's his make or break season but that run of 10 games he had in 06/07 when Wyness and Dargo were both crocked kind of proved he wasn't up to the task. The likes of Wood and Vigurs and even Zander haven't seen nearly the same amount of game time as Rory and in my view all three are better players than him.

Black Wants New Deal
If Black goes unless we sign someone else that will be the spine of our midfield gone because i loathe the idea of a Duncan McBain partnership, it just dosen't bare thinking about. :007:

Brand New Strike Force
Get Rooney in for height and physical presence. And one more forward, an experienced one....the question is who?
-
Hissy
:015: The story of Hislops career.
-
Pressley
He was crap when we beat Celtic in December.
-
Niculae
Will be sorely missed. Appreciated the hug against Killie Marius :003:
-
Niculae
Good luck to him, he was never in it for the long haul. He will be missed though as he did have that slight edge about him that no other players had. But we need that cash.
-
merged: Adam Rooney
Rooney we will see. But Elliot would not be a good addition to our team.
-
merged: Adam Rooney
It is rather sad that the fans actually know what central defence is lacking and Brewster dosen't. *McGuire's too small *Munro at times is too light *Proctor and Hastings are not centre-backs *Zadi.....well we will see We are lacking some burly 6'4 centre back whom every time gets near the ball you know he will get it away. The reason we have conceded so many goals is because the centre-backs to not have enough strength or height over a big target man like Colin Nish or Mark de Vries.

Signings for ICT
This seriously needs updated. :029:

merged: Adam Rooney
Says in the Express that Brewster wants him. I say go for him. He has a decent record for a limited appearence striker and he has represented his country at U 21 level so he must be ok.
-
Steve Lovell
I think we should defnitely enquire about him now that deals for Elliot and Crawford are out the window. :tic01:
-
Stevie Crawford
Well we didn't get him so i'm happy :021:. And were not going to get Elliot either :022:. Now perhaps Brewster can look to signing some PROPER strikers.
-
What hope big names??
Big deal the guys a pathetic excuse for a striker anyway. I for one thing we've been lucky dodging hoaxers like Elliot and Crawford. :022: Brewsters current taste in signings does worry me somewhat though.
-
Steven Watt
Says in the Courier that he's set to sign a contract with County.
-
Has Elliot agreed to a deal
Apparently MK Dons have had ?600,000 offer accepted and he has gone South for talks. Quite glad personally as i dont't feel he would have fitted in well with us. :003:

Manager under scrutiny
When he was first here we played some breath taking football...on the ground. Since he's returned it hasn't quite been the same. My own personal view is that i will never have the same respect for him as i did after he walked out on us in 2006. I never wanted him back when i heard his name was mentioned. I preferred the idea of Neil Warnock, what he did with Crystal Palace last season in such short time speaks for itself. In fairness to Brew he got us off our measly start to the season...with the stroke of his left-foot :clapping03:. But there were always signs that the players lacked respect for him as well. *Blacky running off at Half-Time against Motherwell in November *Barry Wilsons sudden exile from the first-team *Denzils contract withdrawal He was never intrested in Christies signings either. *Deano never played *Rankin played AFTER he sold his house and requested a transfer *Watt played 1 game and never played again *Malky Thomson came back months within Brewsters return AFTER we were told Parky was staying. The only reason he used Niculae was because he was too high profile to say no too and Cowie had settled in so well and so quickly. I think it's safe to say we will all be watching this seasons progress with great intrest...and slight fear.

Barrow load of goals
When i went to see him play against Berwick he had an incredibly lazy touch..but still managed 2 goals, one of them being a smashing penalty....if he was on the pitch against County he would have taken the spot-kick....and scored.
-
The amount of trialists we have had the last few months
Whats annoying is the players we have taken on trial most recently even stretching back to last summer have not been signed. Christie took 6 trialist last year and signed none. :tic01: Brewsters taken 4 so far and signed 1.........Lionel Djebi zadi :rolleyes02:
-
Has Elliot agreed to a deal
According to BBC he's been left out of Hearts Germany tour squad.....but that other clubs are intrested in him. Personally i don't think he is worth all this fuss.

Todays Game, St Johnstone
I was very impressed with Esson today(apart from his kicking). And Phil McGuire at times looked pritty good. Yet another goal for Barrowman and McAllister and Cowies was a peach. Overall i reasonably good game.
