  1. Can we give it a f*cking rest with all the merger crap on every thread. The same few people dragging conversation onto that topic time and time again, boring the sh*t out of the majority of other users and killing the forum.
  2. It was suggested that the painter continue and do the rest of the front of the building while he was at it...but that might have been taking it too far
  3. Are we there yet...!!!
  4. All the league goals are on a single YouTube Playlist -
  5. Just a wee reminder that the cut-off for early bird prices is this Friday (7th June). The club are offering 5 Month (Interest Free) and 10 Month Payment plans this season....and if you sign up now you still get the Early Bird price. So no need to blow all your RockNess spends!!! Free Season Tickets for Under 12's and great deals for those aged 12-16 and 16-25. All the info can be found over on the official website at http://bit.ly/Zhn25Y Ticket Office open until 7pm on Thursday and Friday for those who can't make it down during normal opening hours.
  6. There was nothing going on behind the scenes...other than Butcher identifying the need to do something a bit different against Motherwell (which worked) and OTJ tthen picked up a knock which ruled him out. I'm pretty certain he's left because people kept spelling/saying his name wrong.
  7. No thanks.
  8. I can't see us wandering too far from home for the bulk of pre-season, but if we could get a couple of games just a bit further afield then it would be good in terms of adding a little variety.
  9. Caley Thistle wide man Aaron Doran has pledged his future to the club by penning a three-year deal. The former Blackburn Rovers player, who was 22 on May 13, has had a superb campaign in the team's surge to finish fourth in the SPL and has been rewarded with the longest contract the club has offered in recent years. http://ictfc.com/news/team-news/932-3-year-deal-for-doran
  10. Should have made it clearer that the Legends were a fans team....much to the dismay of one of the journalists who didn't seem convinced when I told him that the fans were every bit as legendary at ICT as the players were!!!
  11. ICT were leading 2-0 at half time, but following a half time player transfer the comedians won 3-4.
  12. Not before time, IMO.
  13. Often wondered, but never had the time to do the work on it, what has been our most successful shirt in terms of points earned/per game used?
  14. Ross County do not have an official Facebook or Twitter page/account.
  15. The problem, as I understand it, is that whilst there's perfectly "safe" smoke bombs which are cool burning and don't emit flames or sparks, there's also lots of more dodgy products out there which do. You then have military grade stuff which are hot burning and a real fire/burn hazard and these are still available from some surplus stores. The issue for police/authorities is that if they don't have a blanket ban on all of them then you run the risk of someone inadvertently using something dangerous and/or needing a process for checking what is being allowed in. Aside from the fire/burn issue, none of these things are designed for use in a confined location....and whilst a football ground may not be seen as that, it doesn't offer people the ability to easily and quickly move away from the smoke if they suffer any respiratory problems. Again, most of them are "safe" insofar as they don't emit anything noxious, but not all of them are. Also, whilst looking into the subject earlier this season, I took a look at stadium regulations for a variety of clubs across Europe and every one I looked at listed Smoke Bombs etc as being a prohibited item. Using Google you can turn up just as many instances of fans being arrested, imprisoned and banned from matches/stadiums abroad as you see for the UK. Just having another Google search of the subject and it looks like dozens of cases have gone through the courts in the past 18 months....so it would seem there's a huge clampdown on their use. Personally, as much as I quite like seeing it, it's not worth the risk....either in terms of causing harm to yourself and others, or for the consequences of being caught.
  16. Nothing wrong with pointing out "faults", IMO. What irks me is the failure by some to realise that with the resources available to the club then we're not going to have perfect players and a depth of squad to allow us to cover all eventualities. They need to appreciate that, all things considered, the team did more than make up for any short comings by finishing 4th in the league.
  17. From a few more bits of info that have come out more recently it would seem that UBIG had voluntarily registered themselves as being unlikely to meet fiscal responsibilities....in other words "we're likely to go into administration/liquidation very soon". The law in Lithuania allows them up to 30 days to change their mind on that before any administration/liquidation process is put in place. So, technically speaking, they had/have not yet suffered an "insolvency event" before the end of the season. If Hearts want to avoid a 15 point deduction for next season (a third of previous seasons points, rounded up) then the club shares will need to be transferred away from UBIG before that insolvency event takes place. Given how much money Hearts owe them, then I can't envisage that happening, but it would appear this new Scandinavian Consortium are desperate to try and do a deal before it does. The chances of a further "twist" are also high. Rules state that a club can get multiple deductions in one season if they are involved in more than one insolvency event. That could mean they get 15 point deduction if UBIG go into administration/liquidation and a further 15 point deduction if the club itself goes into administration/liquidation. Would be hard for them to argue that it's part of the same process given their ongoing claims that the club is running independently of UBIG at the moment and is not relying on any financial contribution from them and the situation there does not impact on them at all.
  18. Was a guy got jailed for 6 months and a 7 year Football Banning Order for it last year - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-19732166 Whatever your thoughts are on the rights or wrongs of the laws on the matter....it's not worth the risk.
  19. There was a miscommunication between the videographer and the soundman in regards getting the commentary added which has held things up.
  20. Hope not....the blue is wrong shade.
