Seriously poor reporting (or spin) by the BBC....yet again. What was said is that players "COULD BE out for a few weeks", but that is a worst case and until they are properly looked at and assessed then it's all conjecture. I believe both player will be resting up and icing until Monday before that assessment takes place. This seems to be pretty standard procedure as it allows any initial swelling/bruising to calm down a bit. It could just as easily turn out that Andy had little more than a bad cramp and Foran got a bit of a twist and they could both be back for Saturday....Mckay and OTJ being in the same boat. Personally, I'd be all for Terry telling the press all four were doubtful for next Saturday, regardless. Maybe put Celtic off guard and tempt them to send a "weakened" starting XI....so don't be surprised if injury updates are vague/non existent in the coming week.
  2. Due to a late change to Scottish Cup media rights, it's not logistically or financially viable for the ICT media team to provide any video from this game.
  3. Sometimes things just don't go for you...despite best endeavours. I was heartbroken for the team last week. We matched a team with far greater resources than us for 120 minutes and then lose the game on a single kick of the ball. Similar feelings today. We were a little out of sorts in the final third, but you have to give credit to the team for still managing to get chances despite losing two of the teams most influential players to injury early on. What's important is that nobody panics and tries to make it out to be more than it is....and full credit to the travelling fans today who showed real support for the team by staying to clap every one of them off the park at full time.
  4. Would love to see him sign for St Mirren.

Yeah....they have an obsession for the big team in the Highlands!!!
  6. Sure there's a joke about being tagged in there somewhere!!!
  7. Just realised the link on the website is not working. Form attached to this post and will get that fixed. cjt_mem_app_a4.pdf

If that's the only game he played in, I'd imagine there's a good chance of FIFA giving permission for the transfer....getting paperwork complete in time might prove problematic with the added complication though.

I'm thinking it could be curtains for Draper!!!
  10. Other than perhaps feeling they can be a part of something, even 'loosely' .... I know they can easily get that simply by joining CJT and price is certainly no barrier, but as we have found over the years having an identity means something, especially when you do not live in Inverness ..... look at the "Internutters" or the Highland Marchers ..... Perhaps I didn't word it very well, but that's what I meant about a less formal affiliation. My overall point was really that their was no "additional" benefit to a group being an affiliate/member over and above the individuals because all that really gets you is one extra (collective) vote....and you also need to be a constituted organisation or business. We already have CLAN (Disabled Supporters Group). They have their own committee and look after their own affairs...and we offer help and assistance when requested. As individuals they are all members of CJT and that's the only pre-requisite for them being a member of CLAN. In short...and before I start really over complicating things....it's a great idea and the current setup isn't a barrier to making something happen.
  11. There's no real benefit to having affiliated groups under the CJT umbrella. As we are a one member, one vote organisation, we also can't offer any enhanced membership categories. That's not to say we don't want to hear from you, or that we wouldn't consider less formal affiliation...we'd definitely offer assistance and make other CJT members in the area of clubs aware etc...it's just not the same as it used to be with Supporters Clubs and the branch setup/network in the structure sense. I'd personally love to see groups getting together, and CJT has members all over the country/world, so itFT wouldn't be impossible.

If we've signed him, then I imagine he'll be playing for our side!!!!

I'm glad we are following things up as we should, but the clamoring by hibs fans over this is pathetic. This has nothing to do with you. There is enough Hearts/Hibs pi*h on every single P&B thread without you bring it over here. You got pumped 5-1. Get over it. Bit harsh!!!!
  18. Wouldn't be all that hard for you to find out Charles....and unless it has gone up recently, it amounts to little more than what might be considered a "peppercorn rent". It's certainly nothing close to what others wishing to use it are quoted/charged.

Doesn't add any additional info to what is already known, but will confirm that the club have been in contact with CJT today over this matter. http://ictsupporterstrust.co.uk/news/trust-news/260-league-cup-semi-final-statement

Is there documentary evidence available online that suggest that it wasn't (e.g. a list of suspended players for that weekend)? I know it's just a newspaper preview, but.....http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/13/squad-sheets-liverpool-arsenal

The club have updated their statement on the official website to clarify that they are continuing the investigation into the matter. http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/785-league-cup-semi-final-statement

Not sure if he was part of the 25 man squad but he was definitely not listed in the starting XI or as a substitute. And as has been pointed out already, he was not listed as suspended.

I can assure you that CJT give consideration to all matters where the general feeling among our members and the wider fan community is such that discussion/action is needed. As the board are all volunteers with day jobs then it is impossible for us to give any instant response in regards our intentions on how we are to go about that...but it will happen at the earliest opportunity. In the meantime I have asked for some clarification on the statment from the official website as it's not clear if that is the final word on the matter or if the club do actually intend to look at it further.

Really disappointed that the club have let this drop on what appears to be the basis of single phone call....and the non-information provided. As I understand it, and I did a lot of reading last night (not on twitter), we would not have expected to see the suspension for the Scottish League Cup show on the certificate from the FA when he returned to Scotland as they are only duty bound to show suspensions outstanding from FA regulated leagues and tournaments. It is the responsibility of the receiving association to ensure a player has no issues outstanding from any previous registration with them. If the SFA/SFL have screwed up, of course they are going to seek a quick and easy way out....and they seem to have achieved that.
