  1. The whole "rejects" thing is as laughable as the "County in the Premiership was good for Highland football" and "We don't miss the Premiership" bahollocks being spouted on here. Not one of those players we wouldn't have happily kept...and/or wouldn't have back. Not one of them wasn't made an offer to stay. Like it or not, they rejected us....not the other way round.
  2. Well done, you got the small "k"......but it's Mc, not Mac ?

    New kit?

Depends how big you like your stripes ?

    New kit?

Errea pay good money to supply first team kit....so a bit of a slip by whoever's responsible for such things these days.

    New kit?

Youth's had Macron (generic) kit. The Errea deal is for 4 minimum years.

Lindley were bought over by Centerplate a while back.

The club have no say on prices, they rent the space/rights to sell food to fans to Centreplate....any other vendors on site sub let their space from them. If there is any conditions placed on pricing, then they would be set by Centreplate. No reason why it couldn't be renegotiated at renewal if the club felt there was a a deal which was as profitable (or better) and offered improved service to fans. What I would add....stadium catering is not as attractive a proposition as it sounds. 20ish days a year....mostly at weekends when mobile vendors will possibly have the chance to do more lucrative events and festivals, which means you won't get a commitment to cover all games. Larger concerns will want what Centreplate currently have in terms of an agreement that protects their position...working for pennies to compete with one man bands will be more hassle than it's worth for them.
  9. Got to make the best of it while I can...won't be so easy when I take up my COO position next week.

Ticketmaster's old system was an absolute joke and I think we've been waiting about 2.5 years for this promised new system (if not longer). The re-sell probably isn't going to be a big feature for us as we're not selling out games to create the need for it, but if we make use of things like Print at Home etc, then not only will it make it easier for fans, but it should reduce pressure on ticket office on match days (and other times). That will mean a possible reduction in footfall in the shop...but if there's fewer people crowding the place out with ticket issues, then hopefully it encourages people to come in for a browse (and buy) that might otherwise have just walked past and not risked the crush.

Stagecoach Inverness weren't interested when approached a couple of seasons back.

Which is exactly what it was when we were in the premiership as it included one more game ?
  13. I'm sure there's plenty who wouldn't ?
  14. Given the lack of instruction from the CJT Board, they'd be hard pressed to refuse/reject any reasonable form of proxy put forward....but that is purely my opinion. cjt_proxy.pdf
  15. This is by no means an officially distributed form, but given the lack of anything else being provided it does meet the criteria for notifying the society of a proxy....see attached cjt_proxy.pdf
  16. In terms of local profile, County a league above will do us more harm than the specific league we are in as local papers/media give over more to the higher placed team. I suspect, but have no evidence to support it, that getting more local youngsters through to first team level would go a long way to offset any dampening of aspirations coming from not being in the top flight. Going back to the County thing again...we don't want Inverness kids aspiring to play for them as they are in a higher league. All very complex....getting a migraine trying to compute it ?
  17. The youth participation thing is open to debate. There's an argument to be made for more opportunity to break through in lower leagues...and as such youths seeing it as more achievable and therefore wanting to partake more readily. Not sure if that's how it actually plays out, but would make for an interesting study.
  18. I don't disagree that it would disappointing to have no Highland representation in the Premiership (especially given the battles to get and remain there...for both teams), but as an ICTFC fan first and foremost, I want what is best for my club....and employees are duty bound to, publicly at least, be seen to want what's best for the club also.
  19. There is absolutely no scenario where having Ross County in a league above us is a positive for ICTFC. The ideal situation would have been for us to have made the step up again, but that didn't happen and I found it quite bizarre that Robbo was in the courier yesterday championing County and hoping they remain in the Premiership.

Agreed. Although, season tickets did include a free Betfred Cup match last season, so removing that this season does cancel out a sizeable chunk of the value from the discount. It's a bit like taxes....they'll get it out of fans one way or another ?

Club have now removed info on free Betfred Cup games from website. At 9.27am they published the article.... At 10.31am it said free entry to Betfred Cup games.... At 11.03am it had been removed....
  22. Heard that County have already noted an interest in taking him OTB on a permanent deal.

I wasn't making a case for paper books. Cards are a good idea, I was pointing out that photo cards weren't the easy/quick option you suggested.

Based on say 1400 Season Ticket holders....3 minutes per person....that's 4200 minutes, or 70 hours of work. One person/camera/machine working full time for 2 weeks....or it would be if you got everyone to show up in a nice organised way at 3 minute intervals and didn't suffer any glitches, hold ups or down time.
