Our winning the Scottish Cup was the culmination of a *5 year schedule of building, which could never be sustained; a club with our resources simply doesn't have the means to allow it to do so. The fact that we managed to pull off a 5 year plan in the manner we did required a great deal of personal sacrifice by those off the park as well as those on it....and a large slice of good fortune. Our board need to get their had out of their arse and realise that our greatest periods of success have come from investing in people....not just financially and not just on the park. As I told them when I decided I could no longer be a part of the dismantling of everything good at the club (changes were needed, but the foundations were actually pretty solid)..... Respect is Earned, Honesty is Appreciated, Trust is Gained and Loyalty is Returned .....that has been the recipe for success at ICTFC from day one and it has been almost entirely stripped from the club in the last 12 months. *It could be argued that it was a 6 year schedule as the commitment from the board to back the fan's financial support with a £1 Million investment kick started the return to the premiership...the first piece of the jigsaw.

Hopefully doesn't turn into a case of "careful what you wish for" ?

As I said elsewhere....despite what might be said publicly, there's not a club in the Championship who will be relishing the level of competition. It's going to be a helluva league and potential for high level entertainment is huge. ICTFC have shown that clubs are just as capable of having a bad season as a good one after being relegated, so I'm not buying into the "County & Partick will have relegation hangovers". When you look at the list of teams and you can't single out ANY of them as favourites for relegation or promotion, then you know it's going to be tough.

I think the bullying and personal attacks on Charles are unacceptable. Just because he dishes it out to others....two wrongs do not make a right. Make love...not war ?

I can't take the credit for dreaming anything up. Pride of the Highlands has been in use by this site for as long as I can remember....and there's no way I would have chosen a hashtag where a Twitter search brings up stories of junkies, violence, sexism among the top results! Will we have a club investigation about that?

Nah, they're going to have the 2018/19 season hashtag #OhInverness on them ?

Surely trying to turn the erosion of ST value and ST holder benefits in to positive news is where the "Spin" is taking place?

I don't necessarily disagree with that...and the event was primarily attended by those taking kids....however, it doesn't get away from the fact that it was an act of appreciation which was widely welcomed and seen as a "perk" to ST holders.

No advanced kit reveal for Season Ticket holders, then? It's those little things that, in my experience, make ST holders feel valued. After failing to honour the exclusive player meet and greet (and other things) last season, I thought they would have been careful of stripping out even more of the stuff that shows appreciation for those parting with their hard earned up front. It's seems like they've stopped even pretending that they care!

Being aware that there are people who may be great candidates for the CJT Board, but who might be put off by the current situation or from not knowing/understanding exactly what's involved....would anyone be interested in a get together/Q&A with previous (and existing if the wished) board members so they can get a better idea of things?

Unless you have written to the organisation resigning your membership, or received a renewal to which you did not respond (prior to this year) then you are member....as I have explained before. That, of course, does not mean it is compulsory for you to have attended the AGM....but it does mean it was a choice not to have done so.

If they didn't, they'd be accused of being monsters for only pedalling the bad news and ignoring a happy event. I'm no fan of the royal wedding, but it's a welcome change from the constant stream of misery that usually occupies the news.

Bit of both. I think they got complacent previously...but have learned from it and happy to get another chance with us.

I like a dark away kit, but it's is a bit of a hassle as, due to a dark home kit, we get a lot of clashing with opposition teams with no quick switch. For that reason it generally means we have to keep a white/light kit as a third kit....which ends up being worn more than the second/away kit.
