Special General Meeting
A meeting was held last night and information on the agreement reached on how things will move forward to an SGM (and when) will be issued as soon as a couple of details can be nailed down.

I don't agree with the public criticism that Polly gets, but can we please stop with the "hitting form at the right time" bahollicks....in reference to any player/team. The right time for a team to hit form is day one, if we'd done that then we would be in St Mirren's shoes right now. The idea that we've somehow been gearing up for a late push and it's all coming together nicely is, in the words of Stephen Fry, "@rse gravy of the worst kind".

Just because a player has played an important part in the progress and successes of ICTFC since 1994 does not necessarily mean they would rank among our most talented players. Charlie Christie is probably a prime example of that. A good player for the level we were at during his time, but there are many who have played for us at a higher level who would be considered "better" players, IMO.

Special General Meeting
This meeting has been requested by the CJT board "To clarify the points that need to be discussed to allow us to move forward to an SGM" and is not an open meeting. As we have no means by which to contact members directly (other than those who requisitioned the SGM), we will continue to keep the wider membership updated as best we can via this forum. The requisitioners became entitled to call the SGM themselves following the boards failure to do so....and this doesn't change that. However that can't be done until 1 month after lodging the original letter with the board. In the meantime, communication between the board and members (even via 3 appointed reps) is welcomed...IMO.

A quick update.... A meeting between CJT and representatives of those who requisitioned them for the SGM will take place next Wednesday. The meeting will be chaired by someone from Supporters Direct.

12 week minimum ban for standing
Ladies day tomorrow.....I'm not banking on any of them still being in the stadium come kick-off ?

Suspensions v Dumbarton 14/04/18
In addition to the above, Vigurs will miss Dunfermline and Livingston.

Suspensions v Dumbarton 14/04/18
Charlie Trafford, Carl Tremarco and Coll Donaldson all suspended tomorrow. We have ample options in the middle of the park, play Mckay beside Warren and Seedorf at RB then Calder or Chalmers (from memory) are options for LB.....so maybe not as bad as it first looks.

12 week minimum ban for standing
In Scotland, only Premiership clubs are required to have an SLO....and even that is little more than a box ticking exercise as there's little laid down in terms of the function/s they must perform/fill. Historically, ICTFC operated on the basis that the "SLO" was a function and not a person (although they did have a named person in the Premiership). This meant that the correct person could/would liaise with supporters depending on what the situation required. That meant that anyone, including the chairman, could and would be assigned to a relevant scenario....and on occasion when it perhaps needed the knowledge/skills of more than one person, the internal communication was such that this could be quickly put together and/or a degree of trust that if one person had to make a decision on behalf of someone else they could do that without fear of being rebuked. It wasn't perfect, but it made the most efficient use of the resources the club had available. To my knowledge we don't have an operational SLO at the moment. It's possible someone may carry the title, but based on my time operating at the club under the current chairman/board there certainly wasn't the level of communication between board/senior management and staff that would have allowed them to fulfil that function in any meaningful way, shape or form. In the absence of an SLO then fans could normally expect a supporters group to fulfil the function of liaising with a club on their behalf.....but that's a whole different kettle of fish.

Special General Meeting
I've had a response in relation to the EGM dated 18th April 2018 as follows... Following the objection the meeting is unable to proceed as planned on the 18th and will be rescheduled. We are continuing to work with Supporters Direct and have a board meeting on Thursday so we will respond fully following the meeting. I thought it might be useful to let people know ?

Special General Meeting
These are my personal comments. I've stated this before....but this is not, and should not be or become, a witch hunt. There are people on the CJT board who have skill sets, knowledge and energy which are of value to the society. The call for everyone to step down and a new election is not to get rid of all these people, it's to ensure that everyone on the board is properly elected/appointed and the members get a rightful say in who they want to stay/go/add. Only once that has been done can they look to dealing with any other matters which are there; or may arise as things are brought back on track.

QOS -V- Inverness CT
Have heard many people in the game (who are far more knowledgeable and better qualified to comment than me) state that they believe Polworth's all round ability is better than that of Ryan Christie.....it's just that, for whatever reason, we've only ever got glimpses of his full potential.

2015 Scottish Cup winners v 2015 Scottish Cup runners up
It's definitely possible....you've just agreed to that. It's the likelihood that's in question. Not sure I'd be wagering the outcome one way or the other....after all, this is the Caley Jags we're talking about!!

Special General Meeting
An email was received, from CJT, by those who requested the SGM stating that the request was "quite complex to administer within our current rules" and, as such "This is making the request for a meeting within 28 days from the date of the letter impossible to achieve." This appears to be based on advice from Supporters Direct (umbrella organisation), but it would seem that advice has been provided without a full understanding of the situation. Whilst it would be easy to assume, it's not entirely clear from that whether or not the meeting listed in the OP has been cancelled and confirmation of that has been requested. There was also a request from CJT for a meeting with representatives of those who put their names to the SGM request. This has been welcomed on the basis that it also include a representative from Supporters Direct (to advise, mediate & bare witness) and without prejudice to the members rights to now call the already requested SGM themselves should they deem it necessary. A response is also awaited on that matter.
