  1. One of the female stewards (Supervisor) got a smack in the chin from a Celtic fan who was evicted at half time aswell. He passed us, unzipped his fleece to show his Celtic top and was giving us the finger. I shouted to the Stewards asking why they never did anything. The response I got from the male steward was that he saw nothing, I asked how he could see nothing when the guy walked right between them and he said he hadn't seen him because he was eating!!!! This got right on my goat so I gave the guy a bit of verbal and he marched off to get his supervisor - thought I was going to be evicted but the Supervisor asked what had happened, I explained and gave the reason for my frustration and she went off to find the Celtic fan. They found him down in the lower concourse area and he was evicted from the stadium. Something must have kicked off with him outside because he was lifted by the police and thats when she got the punch in the chin. Top marks to the Supervisor for her handling of the situation, but I find it worrying that the Steward was more interested in munching his pie or whatever he had than doing what he is employed to do. She (the supervisor) wasn't too happy at that either and I believe she had a word. The main stand was, once again, riddled with Celtic fans - most of who were causing no bother from what I could see, but it just takes one idiot like the guy I mentioned above to kick something off, especially if one of our own fans had decided to have a go.

Do we need a new dating section added to the forum? You can meet some great people online (Their are a few couples who have met via this site), but I don't think dating sites are the way to go. Online communities such as this give a slightly truer reflection of the people your are interacting with as most people will have met each other away from the site so are less likely to BS about the real them on the site - if that makes sense. Also, not a good idea to be giving out your address to strangers - and I've blocked your mobile number so stop trying to call me :016:
  6. OK, so it's not entirely free, but here's the deal. Some of you may have seen the link in my signature for a "Free Laptop", but when you've clicked on it you've been faced with the fact that you have to sign up to one of the offers and then get 25 other people to do the same before you get the laptop. Well, I quite fancy one of those laptops to replace my tired desktop, but I am realistic enough to know that you get nothing for nothing in this world. So here's what I am willing to do...... The first 25 people to click the link in my signature and complete one of the offers will get a Free Handheld Electronic Touchscreen Sudoku game. All you need do after you have signed up for and completed the offer is PM me and let me know what e.mail address you used (so I can verify things my end) and give me your address so I can send you the Game. I have the games in my possesion right now (70 of them) and their is no (other) catch in getting one - And if anyone wants to buy one from me without completing any offers or the like then I'll let you have them at a tenner each :001: - they are brand new and boxed, not some kind of dodgy seconds and they never fell off the back of any lorry :015: The value of the Sudoku game is the equivalent to the cheapest offer you can sign up for (£10) - so in effect it costs you nothing to help me out other than a bit of your time. Whats in it for me? - I get a Laptop valued at about £700 for £250 Whats in it for you? - You get that nice warm feeling of having done someone a favour :001: - You also have the opportunity to go on and earn your own free laptop (or desktop), and if we can get this to work once, who knows what other "freebies" we can help each other scoop in the future. The scheme is 100% legit as I have checked it out, it's just very difficult to persuade 25 people to sign up, hence why I am offering a little something in return. I'll post as soon as I have 25 people on board, anyone who has signed up prior to that, even if it is more than 25, will get a free game. It's important that you use the link in my signature to access the "Free Laptop Offer" page and then use the links there to sign up for one of the offers. Depending on which offer you sign up for it can take a few days for it to clear, only once I have a green light that the offer has been completed will I send the game.
  7. Holding back your emotions isn't healthy IHE, you should come out and tell us what you really think :015:
  8. Fire enough names around and your sure to hit lucky every now and again :014:
  9. His contract also includes Coaching Responsibilities - we often hear clubs rant on about Youth Development etc etc, but I believe it is just as important to develop your own coaching staff using people who know the club, know the players and are well respected etc. I believe Wilson has all the qualities necessary to be a top notch coach and there's a certain feel good factor in seeing the club giving him the chance to develop that, and also in seeing Wilson rising to the challenge.
  10. No - Doesn't matter if he is the best footballer in the world if he spends most of his time out suspended. I also don't want someone on the team who risks bringing the club into disrepute. So he's a bad loser....time he grew the feck up if thats the case and learns that in life you lose more than you ever win and you need to learn to get on with it without tossing the toys out of the pram like a spoiled brat.

Under current Transfer rules it's not possible for a player to play for 3 seperate clubs in the same season.

  14. Nothing removed - and it was just coincidence that when I saw distressed it reminded me of the Salvager who had distressed some wood to give it an antique look - hence the association :003: Anyway - reply 2000 dungeon

None of those examples constitute abuse IMO, they are all true to some extent and most have been qualified with comments that it's not the norm or is understandable due to him carrying an injury or by hopes that he will recapture the form we know he is capable off (although I agree that he is not as far off form as some would have you believe). Yes we do have forum users who mindlessly criticise and they jump to whatever negative point seems to be the favourite for the day but they are far from being any kind of majority and the defensive reaction of some is way OTT.
  21. I'm not doubting his ability on the pitch, the guy has and can make a great contribution to the team. What's got my back up is his lack of respect. When he apolgises to the fans for the way he's been acting then I'll get off his back.
  22. Had to laugh at the suggestions that local police could do better. It took me 45 minutes to get from Fraser Street, up Queensgate and round to Union Street this afternoon due to the town grinding to a total halt and the Traffic Wardens running around mad trying to get things moving again. 25 Minutes sitting waiting to turn right into Union St without turning a wheel :015:
  23. Link removed as it could be construed as Adult Content and land us in more bother than I can be hassled with - Sorry
  24. it's erse.
  25. off
