  1. Willie Miller is a clueless sheep apologist. I thought our passing was pretty slick today. We seem to passing the ball forwards more than earlier in the season, and some of the ball retention today was breathtaking. If only we could convert a bigger percentage of chances created. A few years ago I did some looking into conversion stats and realised that the "big" teams percentages weren't any greater than others (quite the opposite in some cases) it was that these teams were putting in a far greater number of shots/shots on target.....and that's what we seem to be doing more regularly this season.
  2. 6 Points ahead of Title Contenders, Dundee Utd.....can't be bad, eh?
  3. Not that I am aware of (on either front). There is a black tracksuit on sale, but don't think it's the same one you're on about.
  4. Trespass Puffer/Padded Jackets also now available....£65 In store purchase only. Made to order with returns not available (unless jacket is faulty).
  5. Richie also being kept busy off the park....modelling the Blue Training Sweatshirts which are now also available in store & online. http://ictfc.com/commercial/store?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=833&category_id=12

  8. Rearranged Fixture : Our SPFL Premiership match AWAY to Dundee Utd has been scheduled for Tuesday 24th Feb with a 7:45 kick off.
  9. Let's face it....Sportscene is a total embarrassment of a programme, regardless of the team you support.
  10. Think we should take a big money game and bow out gracefully. I mean, have you seen the state of the pitch at Hampden? Who the feck wants to play there?
  11. My bad....instructed Andy to upload Yogi interview to the wrong place. Now sorted....
  12. Tansey receives the ball from Ross, skips past 3 players and doubles the lead.
  13. Sexy!!!
  14. Sounds like Marley could have had a hat-trick already.
  15. Think he picked up a knock/tweak in training yesterday morning, but don't know for certain.
  16. Again, it's a matter of resource....and planning that resource around an ever changing match schedule. We used to tweet from the home matches, but as soon as the SFA started insisting on evening games in brighter months and then winter weather set in, meaning matches started getting shifted around (location, date & times) then it became impossible for volunteers to maintain their commitment to assisting.
  17. Some of the Social Media stats would blow your mind...as they still do mine. e.g. The clubs official twitter averages just over 1 Million impressions a month. Impressions being the number of times another twitter user views one of our tweets.
  18. I know what the OP is talking about....it's the additional "behind the scenes" stuff. Whilst we do want to do more on that front, it's time consuming and outwith available resources at the moment....and every time I free up a bit of time or resource, something more important has a habit of filling the void....but we'll get there. (keep an ear out for the relaunch of the podcast...soon). With that being the situation, then whatever we do has to tick 2 out of 3 boxes. Those boxes being "Fun", "Useful" & "Informative". People also have to keep in mind (and in fairness most people do get it) that whilst players/manager could be considered "public figures", they are entitled to their own space and privacy....even when in/around the stadium. In my experience, when you demonstrate that you respect that fact, then people are more willing to work with you on the stuff of real value or let you "intrude" a bit behind the scenes and capture some of those extras and bend the 2 out of 3 rule by doing something purely for chits & giggles.
  19. I concur...was thinking Magic Roundabout might be a fun one to use.
  20. Would be happy to meet you, take you through what's done at the club and discuss your ideas.
  21. You can't know that...because if Mckay hadn't been playing then someone else would have and we have no way of knowing what they would have contributed directly in terms of goals.
  22. He's not THAT old.
  23. In regards to communication... It used to be my biggest annoyance with regards to the club and is/was the main reason I volunteer so much time to assisting them. We did an extended interview with Yogi last week in which he goes through all the possible permutations of what could occur with signings as the transfer window approached...and beyond. He stated that there was a chance that someone could have come in ahead of last weekends game, but if not then he still had other options and was very clear that if the window closed without us making a signing, it did not mean that we wouldn't still be looking....he even pointed out that his best ever signing was a free agent. I really don't know what more the club could say at this point without giving info which they likely don't want in the public domain (such as target names etc)....and I would be the first person pushing for a statement if I felt their was information to be given. There's been a few rumours floating around in the press (none of them true, to my knowledge) about approaches here and there, and whilst it may seem like a sensible thing for the club to make comment on these it doesn't actually help the wider situation. I've learned a few things along the way whilst doing what I do at the club, and one of those things is that the more the club do to try and counter rumour and misinformation, the more rumour and misinformation it creates because press start (more than normal) to create stuff knowing that even if it's nonsense then it generates a response and helps them fill column inches. It means that the club have to strike a balance, and that balance comes from not wasting time writing statements every day, but from giving proper information as and when there's proper information to give. The pursuit of the above mentioned point of balance has meant that in the past 3 years or so, the club has gone from not having a dedicated person working on media/communication to having someone for whom it's a full time responsibility. Not only is someone coordinating that, but you then have the time spent gathering and preparing the info from various dept's....so there is a marked increase in hours dedicated to it from everyone. It would be naive of the club (and arrogance by me) to think that they always get it right....and sometimes we know we're missing doing something, but the limited resources mean you have to take a "hit" somewhere. I don't believe that is the case here and all the useful information that can be given, has been given. If people want an official line on it, then I'll stick my club hat on and say "things are still happening and an update will be given in due course". We'll be speaking to Yogi tomorrow ahead of the game this weekend and I'm sure if there's anything that can be added to that then he'll include it.
  24. I believe so....not from personal experience, but from conversations in the house. One bus was designated "Dalneigh" and the other "Limetree" if my memory of those conversations is correct.
