  1. Give you a clue....an away game and you can just make out the eye of the goal scorer to the right of Christie's head.
  2. *Speechless*
  3. ALL first team players who are due to be out of contract in the summer have offers from the club.
  4. I'm not sure what you mean Rene. First, Tynecastle has no terracing. Maybe you mean the stewards have turned a blind eye to huge numbers of bevvied-up young men standing, same as they do when the twins of evil visit us. But that's not the same as 'standing being allowed in the lower leagues'. Second, I can't recall any club being relegated from the top league and still having terracing in place after having stretched themselves to meet the criteria of 6000/10000 seats. We ourselves were obliged to have only seating even after relegation in 2009. Teams with terracing such as QOS are rare and have never made it to the top division. We actually still have terracing on the West side of the ground, towards the South Stand, it just has boards and stuff up around it. Using it was looked at when we got relegated and league/stadium rules would have permitted it. However, the club were told that authorities would oppose the changes needed to our safety certificate on the grounds of it being a "retrograde move" in terms of ground use.
  5. Only Edward Ofere has signed...and we've just not had time to speak to him (as in club media) ourselves, let alone do a presser with him. He was in for a couple of days for Yogi to run a final rule over him, deal done late on Friday, down to Motherwell for the game then had to fly home to get his stuff....so first chance we'll get is tomorrow.
  6. Whilst it's been a while since I've sat/stood in with the rest of the fans at a game, I do get the impression that stewards aren't getting on people's backs so much and forcing them to sit (home or away). If that's the case and fans aren't being hassled over it, then that's a far more sensible solution than forcing clubs to spend a fortune on rail seating.
  7. I don't believe ICTFC have any debts...in terms of loans...with anyone. So I would say "No", we're not in debt. The last time I checked, Ross County were in similar position to Dundee...although they do/did a lot of operating via 2nd and (and 3rd) companies so debts never showed on the actual club accounts, even though the businesses were connected. It could well be that these debts (both clubs) may be guaranteed by others...but in order for those guarantees to be enforced the clubs would have to be in a position where they couldn't pay...i.e. administration/liquidation...so the guarantee protects the lender, but not the clubs. The most disappointing thing with Dundee is that they had gone through all the pain of wrestling their club away from those who were running it in to the ground time and again. They had fan ownership and a model to allow them to live within their means. They then gave that all up the moment someone waved a few quid at them. If it all goes t1ts up again, then you really can't have any sympathy.
  8. He has...just one that was kept under the radar. Sometimes people are so interested in what's in one hand, they forget to look at what's happening with the other
  9. Ofere has been allocated shirt #7....so he's got a bit to live up to in terms of replacing the previous occupant.
  10. He's not played in Serie A! He has....Lecce were in Serie A when he was with them.
  11. Depends on comms between associations in terms of getting paperwork signed off...but, yes, it is possible that could happen in time for him to be included in the squad for tomorrow.
  12. A wee bit of light relief...
  13. This is still being monitored by us to try and get to the bottom of it. I'm seeing some spikes on the system, but there's no clear cause or pattern to them showing...yet. As Yngwie has done, if you can post any error messages then they can help us pin it down.
  14. I've gone through the original footage frame by frame and would say that there was no deflection...slight or otherwise...although it is very close.

  17. Noticed in a couple of places recently that Shinnie, Raven & Tremarco have been re-branded as Defensive Wingers as opposed to Left/Right Fullbacks. Also, are these guys really defensive wingers? I would have thought it more accurate to describe them as attacking fullbacks....or does our setup/tactics lend itself more to them having developed more into defensive wingers...or are they something else? Discuss...

  19. Maybe international players in the sense that they ply their trade in a country different from birth ... Anything more than that is stretching it a bit in the case of Prince and non-existent as far as I can see for Vucanovic ... But I take your point about our existing squad maybe not all having startling career stats. Appreciate we have a budget to operate in but given we are an established top 6 team, can we not start to dip our toe in slightly more ambitious waters? Without being overly simplistic, if we have the smallest squad but comparable attendances with 3 or 4 other SPL teams, are we being slightly over-cautious? That website I referred to is well worth a browse btw ... Astonishing source of up-to-date data even to refer to if nothing else ... Foolhardy to dismiss so readily IMHO. Your point lacks logic. Existing budget only allows for small squad...if we are to pay more, then we would need to shrink squad further to be able to afford it. If there's a bit of spare cash, then it's use needs to be viewed going forward. You can't base long term spending by way of increased wages on one off, non guaranteed, cash injections...how do you cover the wages next season without it? We're not awash with cash and being "over cautious" is better than being overdrawn with debt/costs we can't sustain...that would be foolhardy! Think you should change your Avatar. Maybe appropriate in your past life but nowadays you seem to roll over, believe everything your told and then defend it with your all. Are you offering to tickle my belly? Jesus!!!!! Please, please don't offer to do that. You'll never get over it. Never get over it!!! You saying I have a big belly?

  21. On another day we would have won that 3-1 and everyone would have been raving about the great play all over the park. Unfortunately, lady luck shone a bit brighter on Killie and had a big hand in their first two goals. Such is the nature of the game sometimes and I think it would be a bit unfair to go looking for scapegoats.
