  1. I hope County start making their crowds up again, great stuff. My favourite part was when the attendances plummet for cup games :D
  2. It's just embarrassing when stadium announcers try and be funny. It would be typical of County, due to their long fermenting hatred of us, to pull this sort of pish out. Best thing to do is for our team to pump them and our fans to point and laugh. I am looking forward to the 9am train to Dingwall though.
  3. Pat Clarke is signing for Dundeh.
  4. Renegade, IM me your dealers details. He obviously has some good gear.
  5. 3 SPL clubs possibly forced into administration (possibly out of business totally). Would this force a 10 team SPL? or would we get promotion by finishing in the top 3? I am hoping for the latter. Time to get rid of all these over spending over-the-hill clubs. Football is now a game which is played both on and off the park Or if Falkirk or St Midden were declared bankrupt before the start of the season, would we be invited straight back into the SPL again? St Mirren have no debt - they made a big profit on the deal to move into their new ground, which paid off all the outstanding money they owed. I don't think Falkirk owe money to anyone either. I'd imagine that Kilmarnock could be in danger - they are over ?5,000,000 in debt. Hearts 'business' model would suggest that they need regular injections of cash.
  6. County have lost a few players as well. Mark McCulloch has retired, Richie Hart and Sean Higgins went to Dundeh and Andy Dowie signed for Dungvermin Pathetic. They have replaced them with a few kids and some ex Killie mink.
  7. I'd imagine that Sky taking over Setanta would be kyboshed by the FSA. The FSA ruled that it was uncompetitive to allow Sky to buy all the live Premiership coverage a few years back, hence why Setanta snapped up the 46 games it's had for the last two seasons. The company who will really be looking at this will be ESPN. They are about as rich as Sky and would happily get a foothold in the European market with some Premiership, SPL, rugby and boxing rights before squaring up during the next rights auction.
  8. Dunno about tenfold but I'd hope that we take a better away support than we used to back in the old days in the First. I think that we could get a good core away turn out of 200-250 every trip. The first trip back to Dingwall will be great.
  9. I thought Vigurs would be offered a deal but he's not featured at all for months. Perhaps Brewster doesn't think that the First Division is suited to players like him. We could go for a 'dogs of war' approach.
  10. I'm there with SirCaleyThe3rd and another hooligan.
  11. Imrie was poor today - against St Mirren he cut in from the right to great effect but that didn't work today. He did do well at the end to force Cerny into a save when he recieved the ball at an awkward angle. I quite like Kerr, he is a solid sort of player, he tidies up well and is capable to playing a good pass further up the park.
  12. Disappointing not to take all three points - thought we had the most chances but as usual this season we didn't manage to finish things off in the oppositions box. It was a terribly frustrating game, especially towards the end as we didn't manage to deliver a decent final ball or made stupid mistakes. Looking back we really, really should have won that game - they had to take off two of their centre backs, they had a man sent off and we went a goal up! Foran had a very good game - he is so strong in the air and gives us a real outlet. Along with his workrate he's probably our most effective player up front and I'd keep him in there until the end of the season. Fantastic finish for the goal as well. I thought Brian Kerr did well in the middle, tidying things up well enough. Imrie looked quiet, as he always does against the Accies. At the back, we were reasonably solid but it's poor to lose a goal to a corner. Djebi-Zadi is absolutely abysmal. He is fast erasing the memories of his decent showings against the Old Firm with his terrible performances like today. His showing was summed up when he gave the ball away after a 60 yard run forward, nearly resulting in a goal for Offiong. In the overall picture of things, we are matching Falkirk's results, which is what we need to do to stay up. However, we had a great opportunity to go six clear with only three matches left and not to take it could prove very costly.
  13. Brian Kerr has played steadily since signing. We also have Dale Gillespie on loan at Elgin, he could possibly do a job. Iain Vigurs has played well in the centre of midfield (hibs away) this season.
  14. Butchers record in home games: P 8 W 4 D 2 L 2 F 10 A 5 Here's our record prior to Butcher coming in: P 12 W 2 D 2 L 8 F 12 A 20 Half of our goals came in two games (Killie and Partick).
  15. When Hearts go bankrupt we can just get him back on a free.
  16. Why were the fans in the corner singing Lady GaGa?
  17. Adam Rooney has really long arms. He also doesn't change how fast he runs, ever.
  18. Barry Wilson also played and scored for us in all four divisions. I think the only player to play in all four leagues for the same team was Gavin Skelton who did it with Gretna.
  19. I feel a bit sorry for Barrowman. We have been pish this season and he is making a step up. Hardly the best basis to build up confidence and come to terms with playing at a higher level. We don't have any experienced forwards who could 'bring him on'. Perhaps he will use the experience he has gained this season to make more of an impression in the future.
  20. Remember that old guy who used to sit right at the side of the main stand uncovered wing? "Come on Inverness"! Great stuff. The guy that looks like a walrus is also a legend. I don't feel as though it's a proper game unless I see him.
  21. I was at that game, it was brilliant. John Coughlin was sacked as St Mirren amanger following that game - the second Buddies manager in two seasons to be given the bullet following a 4-0 defeat by Caley.
  22. No way we are winning this game now, I fear.
  23. Anyone remember that Arbroath keeper in the 3rd division? He kept mouthing off to the Caley fans behind the goal but then conceded a last minute winner.
