NICK ROSS Trialist
Doesn't look like it.

Danny Williams
He was a good squad player in a top six Premiership team, so he could definitely do it at this level. He's better than Cooper, but inferior to a fit Doran.

Ex ICT Players Score
A bit late but I see Henri Anier scored twice for Estonia last month...during Estonia's tour of the Pacific Islands! He scored in a 2-0 victory over Fiji and then scored the opener in the 1-1 draw with New Caledonia. They also played Vanuatu in between and only managed to scrape a 1-0 win.

New Striker
Oh well folks if we do sign him, prepare to be disappointed. Layne is guff.

Must have done. He's not very good at all.

He's just a headless chicken. Brechin fans don't rate him at all.

Caley Jags 2017/18 squad + changes in/out
Is it just me then who thinks Calder has some ability? Now granted he's not always shown it, but if he can get his attitude sorted, I think he *could* come good.

David Raven
One clown about half way up was screaming abuse at him during the first half. It was embarrassing.

Average attendance
I was speaking to someone a while back who told me they'd been speaking to a former member of the board (I think) around the start of last season. He asked said former board member how they planned on taking the club forward. The response was - 'We won the Scottish Cup, everything's fine'. There was no desire whatsoever to try and capitalise on the cup win. Nothing to try and really push the club forward in the community and use the time we were at our highest to truly take the club forward. We've hugely paid the price.

Caley Jags 2017/18 squad + changes in/out
'Susan' has been a really weird and yes, rubbish signing. He came on against Stirling and looked okay and then missed an open goal from about two yards out. He then played against Falkirk did next nothing to and then scored a flukey goal against Clach but for the rest of the game looked absolutely horrendous - and this is against a middle of the road Highland League side. He looks absolutely garbage since before disappearing with an injury - aside from an a appearance on the bench against Dumbarton. That was about two months ago and he still hasn't returned as he's again apparently 'injured'. Robbo has talked about bringing a new striker in, so with Bell, Baird and Oakley in the side you'd imagine one striker would be leaving before a new one was brought in, which would suggest that Zzzzzzz is the one who'll be leaving. I honestly wonder if we'd been Ali Dia-ed with this guy. * Surely * he's not a professional footballer.

Player of the Year - Queen of the South
Surprised to see votes for Raven. Didn't think he was very good yesterday.

Brora Rangers 16 Fort William 0
Even if there were better players around that area, there's three shinty clubs in the area meaning that's 90 guys already unavailable. It was explained to me once that usually the best football players around there are also good shinty players and usually pick the latter sport. There was an article in one of the previous issues of Nutmeg about the club that is worth reading.

My understanding is they're really struggling for players these days. They've lost a lot of players to other clubs (Scott Davidson went to Rothes for example) and have resorted to playing kids and trialists. It's a shame and I hope they survive.

So who were the mystery seven? Boden, Meekings, Fon Williams, Raven, Warren, Vigurs and Draper?

Player Of The Year - St Mirren
I noticed the sponsors MOTM was Connor Bell. He wouldn't have been my choice.
