Unless we went Meekings-Devine-Warren-ANOther. Unless 3 or 5 at the back is an option?
-
It'd be nice if post-final, the club could find a permanent place for both flags.
-
We should start like this (presuming we kick-off): And no, I'm not joking!
-
All have their occupation as 'Full Time Mummys' I bet.

Inverness Thistle FC is still written above the door actually.

We've known for ages now that Warren will miss the final and thus Devine will need game time. Why didn't he start today? Ok, today's game was important, so starting with our main back two was fair enough, but why not put Devine on at half time? We had nothing really to lose at that point, the game was over, so surely we'd have more to gain in giving Meekings and Devine some proper game time together. Why didn't Nick Ross get some game time? One would presume that it's more likely he'll play in the final than Polworth or Williams and where was the sense in throwing Ryan Christie on with so little time remaining? I can understand giving him some game time, but why not give him 15-20 minutes at least? And what was the deal with that formation? 4-4-2 was a disaster last week and Hughes should have known that playing such a system, particularly with no ball winner like Draper in there, would result in Dundee United passing through us dead easy. 4-2-3-1 was the system the players were brought in to play and were used to fill particular roles. It should be no surprise that a big change has seen a downward slump. And where's the logic in these people attempting to defend Hughes by saying "people wanted to switch to 4-4-2, you can't complain now"? What nonsense. The problem with Butcher and Hughes was there was no Plan B. 4-2-3-1 should be the system used when it is analysed that it is the best system to use in regards to the players available and players and system of the opposition. If it is deemed unsuitable, then 4-4-2 should be used as a Plan B, unless another system is created and deemed more suitable. Hughes and the gang, got everything wrong today. Nothing was learned from last week.

Wow. You actually needed to edit that?! Top class input though. Really in-depth.

I honestly think as well, that if we get utterly embarrassed next week and get beat by four goals plus, Yogi's position will be untenable. He can talk about progress all he likes, but we're not seeing it. For a man who said when he came in that he wasn't going to change much, things have changed. Results and performances seemed to have slipped big style. A gubbing next week and the pressure will be on - on both Hughes, and those who hired him.
-
And that was a rubbish performance and only after we'd failed to beat them in the first game, despite them being part time and full of postmen and shoe shop owners!
-
We should've started diving after we cottoned on to how Collum was. He's easily conned.

There was something that didn't seem quite right today. The players were not playing as a team as they have been in past weeks, there was no drive and no passion whatsoever. Now, has there been a bust up? I don't if many people saw, but when Foran went off, Hughes went to pat him on the back. Foran seemed to just blank him and barge past. Now I was quite far away, but that's what it looked like to me. I wonder if there's been a falling out, which partly led to today's disaster.

Not attending because game on a Sunday!

Believing in a man who died and then came back to life and in the meantime performed all kinds of crazy magic tricks and even walked on water. Include that with a talking bush, a talking snake, a talking donkey, seas parting and a guy who builds a massive boat that has everything on it from mice to donkeys to butterflies to Bigfoot to the Blue Whale! (no mention of the dinosaurs though! ). Seems plausible to me... They have the right to say and do what they like, but I have the right to say, they're nuts! Could be because they were wiped out long before christianity But I thought the world was only 6,000 years old! -
I'd also say the relegation decider against Falkirk was a more important one as well.
-
I think the whole thing's been forgotten about now. Wouldn't bother me if we told him not to do it again and moved on. Presumably that's what's happened and if so, I applaud the club for not bringing the whole thing up again and getting another wave of cringeworthy outrage from the Sevco superfans.

Sitting beneath say Kilmarnock or Partick fans would probably be fine. Unfortunately Aberdeen have a fair few mutants in their support who'll take great delight in ruining it for everyone.

If people don't want to go because they're busy worshipping the invisible sky fairy, then that's their loss. I find it hard to believe that people still believe this nonsense in this day and age. -
What were the attendance figures for our Scottish cup games, it would be great to smash that record and I think we will. It was about 7,000ish each time we had a semi-final at Hampden in the Scottish Cup IIRC. 8,500 is a good deal more than the figure that was quoted to be a couple of days ago by a usually reliable source. Are you sure ? If so, that is more encouraging than I thought. Don't know how true it is mind, but that's what I heard and it was from someone who I can only presume is reasonably in the know.
-
I heard today that around about 8,500 have been sold so far. By my reckoning then, this'll be or is very close to being the largest ICT attendance at any game ever.
-
Seemingly Doran was fairly close to making the squad last Saturday, so presumably he'll be fit.

I bet it was that fat wee ned who stole it to sell for smokes!
