  1. Was he not the goalie who got done for sectarian stuff recently?
  2. Presumably, one of the ones that will be unveiled next week will be Gary Warren and perhaps that new keeper Butcher was reported to be after.
  3. I think the key word in the press release is "schools". That may suggest that some of the players might not be that young or inexperienced (particularly if they have kids of school age). I can also think of one player, who's contract has not yet run out with another club who has a child of school age..... Oh please let it be true! Also, if the above post is true about Wigan loanees, I hope one of those is Golobart!
  4. If I could have my way, I wouldn't even send Rangers down to Division 3. I'd send them straight to hell!
  5. IMO ICT shirts should always be striped. I wonder if this is the design then? That'd look awful I reckon.
  6. Dear Mr Cameron, As I'm sure you are aware, with the impending liquidation of Rangers FC not too far away and the highly likely prospect that you and the other chairman of the remaining SPL clubs will vote on the matter as to whether to allow a "NewCo Rangers" to join the SPL. As you know, the fans are almost completely of the opinion that a NewCo Rangers, should they be allowed to join the league system, should start at the bottom of the ladder in the Third Division, just as the newly formed Caledonian Thistle FC had to do back in 1994. Mr Cameron, vote for the wishes of the fans. Vote for dignity. Vote for justice. Vote against an organisation that has exploited sectarianism and bigotry for it's own gain. Vote against a NewCO of a club that has stolen millions to buy itself success. Vote for you to be seen as a man and ICT as a club, who said NO. Mr Cameron, vote NO to NewCo. Yours sincerely, Renegade ICT Season Ticket Holder
  7. And moving that elusive gas pipe!
  8. Aye, that's quite nice actually. I tell you what would look really good though - red numbers. I don't know if that would be allowed by the SPL (though the black away kit a few years back did), but that would look pretty good I reckon.
  9. It looks good I think. I quite like these compact, tight grounds. They'll have no trouble creating a good atmosphere in there, County's fans have always been a bit more vocal from what I can remember.
  10. What about a game against Inverness City? A game down the Bught or at the Northern Meeting Park could be a nice money spinner for them.
  11. That looks alright! Not sure about the back though.
  12. I think there's a bit of an elephant in the room here that everyone is missing. In my mind, the dropping of attendances has little to do with the world's financial problems, ICT's lack of U19s, ICT slashed budget or any other reason. The reason is what the fans are seeing on the pitch. If the club continually goes down the path (and have a manager who seems desperate to do so) of signing players with no connection or interest in the club or the area, sign players that play for themselves and not the club and have a manager who seems quite content on taking a "don't get beat " attitude, even at home while playing a kick and rush style of football, with any direction that is in it, directed towards a man of 5"7. These tactics are an insult to Billy McKay and even more so, to the supporters. You paint up all the reasons you want to try and cover-up the issue, but none as far as I can see, are the whole reasons why. I believe, and always have believed, that if you put a product on the park that entertains and excites the fans, play players who the fans feel connected to and play players that give their all for the club and play for the shirt - the fans won't turn away.
  13. Something like this then? (With more ICTish colours obiviously but you get the idea!)
  14. So a simple question really. Soon a new season will be upon us and this time around Butcher really will have his own team out there on the field. Looking towards the coming season, do you have faith in him?
  15. Sadly there's probably more chance of Blackie winning the Grand National than playing in the Highland Derby next season.
  16. To quote Thomas Jefferson, "dissension is the greatest form of patriotism" or in this case supporting you're football team! Please don't get the impression that I and others go to games and don't get behind the team. I'm always behind the team at games - far more than some of those who sit in silence for ninety minutes! I also made the effort to go to every home game last season and a good chunk of away ones - I think that's a pretty good record. I just can't at this time though say I like where the club is heading and the road being taken by the current management team is what's to blame. Incorrect. If I wasn't sure that it was true, I wouldn't have posted it. I knew what I was posting would turn out to be true - it did.
  17. Yet you always reply to my posts! You can call it whatever you like. I knew at the time what I was posting was true and even had it confirmed to me by a member of the ICT staff! It's no surprise that what I said was going to happen, happened.
  18. Nah, Fraser had signed a pre-contract with Motherwell before Butcher came. Apparently he couldn't stand the thought of working with Brewster for any longer! Oh please! Do you really believe Butcher wanted to keep him? I banged on for months that Butcher's wanted him gone and lo and behold at the seasons end, Tokely's away, in much the same fashion as Grant Munro. It must have been a pretty poor deal for someone like Tokely to turn it down, far less to go and sign for County! If anything, this gives more fuel to the fire in his stance that he was badly treated by the boss - and he's not the first to come out with such a scathing remark. I've said it before and I'll say it again - there's people on this site who, if Butcher said the sky was green, would argue that it was so. Butcher is the master of spin, but some minds will be turning soon.
  19. Our loss is County's gain.......again. Thanks Terry, you really are proving yourself to be something else!
  20. Oh please! Do you really think Butcher would offer anything but the best for his golden boy?!
  21. I see it was reported recently that ICT plan to play one friendly at the stadium. I wonder if that'll be the rumoured Bristol Rovers game then.
  22. Aye, at Ibrox with the Ian Black penalty.
  23. Hogg says on Twitter that he has not signed a new contract, but has agreed a new deal with the club!
