One Last Sermon
In less than seventeen hours, we will once again be celebrating a momentous occasion in the short but eventful history of Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club. I, like many of you have been proud and honoured to have witnessed many other historic moments in supporting this club. We have been very lucky to have witnessed the moments that we have, as some supporters will never have experienced such amazing accomplishments as beating the Old Firm, promotion to the SPL and many others in the decades that they have supported a club. Let me first congratulate Terry Butcher and the team on this fantastic achievement. I didn't believe it could be done this season, but when the new decade dawned in, ICT became alive again. The phoenix-like way that Caley Thistle rose to win the league will undoubtedly be spoken and talked about by supporters for years to come. After the staleness of the start of this season, coupled with the dark days with the return of Craig Brewster, it finally feels good to be an ICT supporter again. Long live Highland football and long live ICT. It's clear to me now that the glory days are not behind us but rather lie on ahead, and I for one can't wait to see where the journey of life with ICT goes next. Another relegation? A cup run? A top six finish? European football? An SPL title? Who knows? One things for sure though, I wouldn't put anything past this club. Today, the work begins anew, the dream that begun in 1994 has never died, and today lives on stronger than ever before. Like a flame, it's had it's moments of doubt, it's moments of sadness, it's moments of triumph and it's moments of peril, but it never goes out. But today, today it shines through. The dream lives on, the dream is alive and the dream will never die. It's time again for triumph, it's time again for football, it's time for ICT! Viva ICT! Viva ICT!

Party in the Park
That's a shame, the crowds banter with him would be the icing on the cake. So who will replace him then? Will it Derek Soutar or will they have to play that old geezer again?

When Golly first signed, I wasn't particularly impressed. I thought he was too slow, too old and way past it. How times have changed, IMO Stuart Golabek has been ICT's unsung hero this season and has been one of the best players in blue and red this season. Well done Golly! :party01:- Party in the Park
I've been reliably informed that a band mentioned in this thread, is indeed the band that will play tomorrow.- Letter from TB
I didn't get one either. Even after I sent an open letter to him on here last year! Dear Mr Butcher Maybe he doesn't like me.- Team for Dee
Funnily enough, I had an idea like that as well. Wouldn't it be good for ICT to let a fan (ie - me) take the team as the final position has already been decided. It could be a charity thing or something.- Party in the Park
Just out of interest, is it likely that Bullock will be in goal for Dundee? Let's hope so, that'll make things even more entertaining!- Team for Dee
Now that it has become clear that Foran and probably McBain will both miss out, I'd go with - Esson Tokely Bulvitis Munro Golabek Cox Duncan Hayes Sanchez Rooney Djebi-Zadi Subs - Allison, Odhiambo, Proctor, Morrison, Eagle- Party in the Park

Why is it that they are presenting the cup on the pitch, and not in the stand amongst the sweetie rus.....I mean eh supporters? That seem to be the way things go these days.- Worst manager ever?
That Alex Smith ain't much good. Apparently his football style is horrible.- Pitch Invasion Repercussions
I don't get it really, I've been to more games than I can think of in my life and not once have I ever felt the urge to jump the fence (full time of the 1st Division Championship game in 2004 being an obvious and understandable exception). I am guessing though that some have a bit of a sheep mentality and want to look like some cool dudes! Not that the club should get a fine for that mind. That's seems a bit excessive.- Signing News!
I don't know what you people are on about! These two were the ones for me - Mmmm, David and Zibi. They were the ones for me.- Flybe End Sponsorship Deal
Was it not hinted on here a while ago that ROK will be ICT's next sponsor?- Worst manager ever?
His record elsewhere is quite good I believe.- home shirt for 10/11
I think this with blue instead of white hoops with the red would be pretty snazzy actually.- home shirt for 10/11
It'll probably be revealed (in the normal case of ICT), probably sometime before the start of the new season. Probably July-ish I would've thought. They normally go on sale about a week or two later.- home shirt for 10/11
Hmm, I think you might be trying to trick us here! BUT you were right last time round about the removal of the stripes and the change of strip with panels etc. IIRC. But anyway, I was looking through some of Errea's designs for next season. Of the ones that I think would possibly be the next design for the ICT kit are: This one - I could imagine this one - This one (as mentioned before) - Red and blue hoops perhaps - Or what about this? Perhaps a blue home kit with a red cross and a red away kit with a blue cross would be good - Or perhaps something that looks a bit like the new Cheltenham Town kit -- Highland March 8
Was John Robertson not wanting to take part this year?- Party in the Park
Who's Donnie Munro?- Party in the Park
That's not that geezer that shouts "Come On!" during the anthem is it? I find that quite cringeworthy. Agreed, I'm just saying that we'll be disappointed on who it is, compared to the rumours of who it will be.- Party in the Park
You know what'll happen though, all these rumours will start swirling around that it'll be Sting and Paul McCartney and all sorts, and then it'll come to half time and we'll all be very excited and then to our annoyance, it'll be a novelty act of a couple ICT players doing a song, probably ending with Lionel with a harmonica solo and we'll all be disappointed. That seems to be the way these things go.- Party in the Park

Let's hope not! What's your problem with having a pipe band like? Just the sound of them...ugh, it's like nails on a blackboard! - The Stuart Golabek Appreciation Thread
