ICT -V- Morton : matchday thread
I seem to recollect Butcher saying recently that he likes "ugly football", well he got what he wanted cause that performance was rotten. No doubt he'll be saying in the week to the press what an amazing result it was and how Odhiambo is a revelation and the greatest player he's ever seen!

Player Of The Year Poll
Was Rooney not playing? Was Sanchez playing?

ICT -V- Morton : matchday thread
A good 3 points, but in truth that performance was shocking. Esson had little to do, Golabek played well and Rooney's main good moment was setting up the goal. Hayes was hot and cold. Of the rest, pretty poor to be honest. Besides Ross's goal he was rather ineffective, Tokely hasn't a clue at centre-half and how Odhiambo got MOTM, let alone stayed on the park for as long as he did is unbelievable - he was pretty bad throughout. Why was Eagle and Stratford on? Why wasn't Sanchez on from the start or on early in the second half? Why was every opportunity wasted as a long ball? Seriously, that was nothing but a punt-fest today. Truly shocking, but a wins a win.

Team for Morton
Shinnie's away on loan at Forres just now.
-
Foran out.
If that is the case, I hope Butcher plays Hayes and Ross on their correct sides.
-
Foran out.
Hmmm, weren't you a big believer in moving Tokely further forward for quite a long time (and Lionel as well on occaison for that matter)? Edit - Looked it up and indeed you were. Here And here And here again And again :)
-
Foran out.
King Lionel hopefully. Or what about taking Tokely out of central defence, keep Proctor at right back, move Hayes to the left and put Tokely further forward to replace Foran. After all, he is a better striker than he is defender.

a game of guess who Renegade is??? Me & mate were doing it the other day at the Dee game... both had completely different opinions You're a man/woman of mistery Rene Dalneigh Caley was it? But seriously this could be the next big thing, or even a chant of "Are you the Renegade?..." That would be rather snazzy.

Freak own goal
I always said using the wind would work.

Division 1 Scorers
It's true though, I've learnt loads of stuff of it, and got ICT promoted and into the Scottish Cup final in my first season - mainly through my unique blend of football tactics!

Player Of The Year Poll
Indeed I did. I thought he had a great game, Rooney got 2nd and Hayes got 3rd.

Thats the last straw now
Well it just goes to show you - pay for your season ticket (isn't that simple enough to follow?) and buy reading the OP then the club were well in their rights to do what they did and he's just trying to shift the blame to the club and shift away the blame from himself.

Division 1 Scorers
Is there not a buy back clause in his contract if Stoke want him back? I seem to remember hearing about when he signed and there's one in Football Manager.

ICT -V- QOS : matchnight thread
Boo Yeah! It's game's like that you need to win and ICT delivered. It wasn't pretty mind - two teams playing puntastic tactics for most of the game and from what I can see, ICT either are too scared to, or just simply can't play a passing game. Despite Rooney's hat trick, he does seem a little isolated at times in this system - but his second goal was ace :) And despite his hat trick, he isn't awarded the Renegade MOTM - that goes to, and no your eyes don't deceive you - Russell Duncan! He was really good throughout and zipped the ball about the best I've seen him in many a season. Esson had little to do despite one decent save, while Proctor was okay. Of the rest of the backline, Golabek was okay at times but seems to keen to mindlessly hoof it, Munro was also okay, while Tokely hadn't a clue at centre half. It's not his position, he doesn't play well there - don't play him there! Hayes was good but not the best I've seen him, while I thought Foran had a poor game. Odhiambo was very quiet throughout a how he stayed the pitch as long as he did was mystery. On the whole, a good win but a poor game on the whole. QOS were pretty poor but ICT's dull long ball game was ineffective most of the time. Bring back the simple passing game.

Actually I reckon it does need fixing - Tokely hadn't a clue at CB.

Judgement Day (Again)?
Anyone else get the feeling that this next game is the be all and end all for ICT's promotional hopes this season? This poster says yes.

SPL ponders expansion plans ....
One of the things for me has always been that, whether you like County or not (probably not), having the Highland Derby in the SPL would be brilliant.

And that has what to with an ICT players mother?
