  1. That thought went through my mind as well. A policeman, ultra reactionary, person named Ross. Hmm who could that be?
  2. How much would it cost to buy 3000 shares?
  3. http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...=8617&st=75 Here's the thread from it when it happened.
  4. HT - RRFC 1-1 ICT FT - RRFC 2-1 ICT RRFC 1st scorer - Russell ICT 1st scorer - Foran Attendance - 1,281
  5. It's interesting to read what some people are saying about Sutherland and the rest of the board. It's obvious from what I and many others can see it'd time for a change in all parts of this club. The man with his finger on the button here, Sutherland is essentially the man who obviously fancies himself as a Donald Trump of Inverness kind of character and in some senses he has succeeded in his agenda. He is essentially the President of Inverness and the surrounding area. The only problem is is that it's a dictatorship. It's still the case with ICT. He currently has a chairman installed who is really nothing more than a mouthpiece for him and it's still a case of what he says goes. That's why Savage (someone with at least a few forward thinking ideas) decided to take his business elsewhere. If I remember correctly he said his position was being "diluted" by Sutherland, this to me says it all. Call it a conspiracy if you like but I don't think this clubs wants to go forward sometimes. How many times have ICT been so so close to a huge victory and then blown it at the last minute? It's happened time and time again. Again call it a conspiracy theory if you like but the amount of times it has happened makes me wonder if this is part of a plan to stop this club from becoming too big. Too big in a sense whereby if the club were to go to the "next level", others would want a part of it, thus Sutherland losing is tight grip on the club. There also seems to be a lot of talk of change, of a deep resentment for those on the inside, an "us and them" feeling. If that is the case then changes have to come. Words are all good but we have to see the fans rise up. We are the groundswell, we can make the change we just have to know what it is we want to do and how to do it. We did it with Brewster, we succeeded in getting rid of him. We can do it again. Words are all good but we have to rise up and lead this club forward to the next level, if not we may not even have a club to follow in the not too disant future.
  6. Has anyone else heard the South American bloke who does the Argentinian games on late night ESPN. He's brilliant, every the ball goes up in the air he shouts "Upstairs!!!"!

This is probably his level now.
  8. Hard to say really, accomplished player and has been in coaching for a wee bit now so probably knows his stuff. How good he is tactically remains to be seen of course.
  9. What would happen if the real owner came down and stood in the centre circle?
  10. Nothing special tbh.
  11. I'd make a move for this guy myself.
  12. Looks like pretty much everyone's going for the one up front system. Here's mine anyway - Esson Tokely Bulvitis Munro Shinnie Hayes Cox McBain Djebi-Zadi Rooney Foran Subs - Allison, Proctor, Odhiambo, Sanchez, Duncan
  13. No, and going by the list ICT have played both. Does anyone else recollect sometime in the late 1990s - early 2000s there were rumours that Barcelona and Athletico Bilbao coming to play ICT for some friendlies? I also seem to remember that there was also talk of ICT playing Fiorentina when they were over in Italy once. I also remember around 2007 ish there was talk of ICT going to America for a small tour of Texas with friendlies against local MLS sides FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo being touted. I seem to remember reading about it once and then there was never any talk of it again.
  14. I seem to recollect that one as well and it might have been Unirea Urziceni who beat Rangers recently but I can't remember exactly. The story with the sending off, was something like the Romanian bloke was sent off and when he went off the Romanians sneekily threw another guy on but they were found out not long afterwards IIRC. Edit - just noticed the list further above and it wasn't Unirea at all, rather Craivo. My mistake.
  15. Just thinking earlier about some of the bizarrer teams ICT have played in friendly matches over the years. Obviously the first one that comes to mind is ICT's 2-0 win over the Qatar U21 side in Italy. ICT have also had friendlies against teams like Bolton and QPR, but are there any friendlies that ICT have played in that have been against teams who aren't the normal Highland leagues sides they normally play or were there any rumoured friendlies against more unusual opponents, that in the end never happened? Discuss.
  16. Oh dear, I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that list.
  17. I've thought myself quite a few times as well but not just when it comes to Lionel. As you've said, you'd think that having a management duo who were both such accomplished defenders would lead to ICT having if anything a very strong defence. You'd think that even if other parts of the squad wasn't quite as good, the defence would be the one place that would be secure, but it isn't. And I find it odd that this is the case.
  18. Probably cause both the home and away ICT kits would clash with the blue and white stripes of Killie. I have to say myself, it looks rather snazzy.
  19. Have to laugh at some people, Lionel has a bad game and all of a sudden Golabek is Maldini and Roberto Carlos all rolled into one! Golabek has look rather mediocre in every game (bar County away) I've seen him play him in. Hopefully a new competent left back can be signed at some point, or the very promising Graeme Shinnie can step out to the plate.
  20. Agree with the bit in bold, but I also feel that the fact that there is absolutely no leader on the park whatsoever is a big factor. Munro can be a very efficient centre half, but I feel it's a bit ironic that he doesn't wear a captains armband, as he's no captain at all. You never see him shouting or rallying the players, and a leader needs to be found ASAP cause ICT will be going nowhere until that problem is solved.
  21. Because he's big I reckon. Butcher has had one constant at every team he's been at - long high balls towards a target man. A boring and mostly ineffective style of play. No wonder almost all of his teams fail.
  22. Agreed, look at Charlie's Christie's team, Robertson's team when ICT were promoted, Brewster's first team along with the final team Paterson had. They were far far superior to what ICT have now become. I would even go as far as saying that this is one of the sorriest versions of ICT I have ever seen.
  23. TBH I couldn't really see what all the fuss was about.
  24. I'd go with - Esson Proctor Bulvitis Munro Djebi-Zadi Tokely------Cox------Hayes Sanchez Foran Rooney Subs - Allison, McBain, Odhiambo, Duncan, Golabek
  25. HT - KFC 1-0 ICT FT - KFC 2-1 ICT KFC 1st scorer - Sammon ICT 1st scorer - Foran Attendance - 4,107
