  1. I always thought (as did many others) that Iain Vigurs was ICT's big prospect. Unfortunately Butcher didn't agree.
  2. HT - ICT 0-1 Motherwell FT - ICT 0-3 Motherwell ICT 1st scorer - No scorer Motherwell 1st scorer - Jutkiewicz Attendance - 2,378
  3. I read that in the week. Seems rather convenient....
  4. First of all I'm not a caller, I'm a poster on a forum. Secondly my 'point' was to help you find an answer to your question, to do so I highlighted what the OP said which answered your question directly :D Anyway I reakon we'll go with: Edit: Took it out as it's the same as Iamthecaptain, and my attempt at putting the names in the correct positions was dreadful. Oh right, I get it now. Let's just blame the OP, it was his post that got me confused in the first place. You really are just like Jimi Hendrix with that reply box aren't you.
  5. When he left ICT he went to Hibs. He got his current SFA job just after leaving Hibs.
  6. This all makes me wonder if the powers that be would rather see the club go bankrupt than give Robbo the managers job. To be honest, part of me thinks that they probably would.
  7. What I would play - Esson Proctor Bulvitis Munro Shinnie Hayes Cox McBain Imrie Rooney Foran Subs - Allison, Duncan, Barrowman/Sanchez, Odhiambo, Tokely I keeping Proctor in for now as I thought he was good in the last game. What I think Butcher will play - Esson Tokely Bulvitis Munro Golabek Cox Duncan Hayes Sanchez Foran Rooney
  8. And your point is caller? When others put these up, the aim of it is to show what you would do if you were taking the team for that game. From OP comments, it gets confusing compared to what these threads are normally about.
  9. I would be quite keen you look to other countries for a new boss. In particular, I'd look at countries who are renowned to play good attacking football (Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Brazil etc.), and look at candidates who are out of a job but have some success at this level in their respective countries. Bringing someone in who is not as well known, with some new ideas I believe could be very effective.
  10. Is this for what team you would play, or what you think the team'll be?
  11. Have to agree there. Some seem to view Robbo as being a bit of a management god who, if was to get the job, everything would be perfect. I get the feeling that if he was to ever return, it wouldn't be as fruitful as his first spell.
  12. I've always been a fan of buying CDs. Whilst I do use iTunes for individual songs I like, but don't want to buy the whole album, or also cause I can't find the album anywhere. I've never once downloaded a whole album, mainly because I like having the whole package you get with the CD. I like reading the wee book and all that stuff.
  13. I doubt Shearer would come back with Robbo. After all, they've never worked together and went to Aberdeen with Paterson.
  14. What makes you so sure of that? From what I can tell, he'd be the one of the least likely of the inevitable main candidates, mainly because his supposed dislike of by Sutherland.
  15. Doesn't this all show, what a sorry embarrassment of a football club ICT have become.
  16. I see Sky Sports have just confirmed that Calderwood has got the job.
  17. Were Bradford not in the Premiership when he was in charge?
  18. Is it just me or does the Reading boss look like the baldy bloke out of Little Britain?
  19. What I find a bit strange about the whole thing is that Iain Vigurs wasn't offered a new contract due to him "not being Butcher's kind of player", yet McBain was. A bit bizarre if you ask me, cause going by the looks of things McBain isn't "Butcher's type of player" either and that surprises me. A grafting, experienced, hard working player is the one thing I'd have thought Butcher would have some admiration for. Obviously not.
  20. I'd have McBain in my team over players like Stratford any day.
  21. I think I might have been suffering a newer version of the this for the last couple of months, though I am reliably informed that this newer more developed version is known as "Butcher Droop Syndrome". I have also have been reliably informed that this disease does pop up from time to time, most notably in the last few years in Brentford and Sydney.
  22. There also hasn't been any games for the last weeks.
  23. Gathuessi has one cap for the Cameroon, and trialist Ibrahim Atiku played once for Ghana.
  24. :006:
  25. Too true. What's going on with Terry these days? This week Duff was "wonderful", last week he was comparing Rooney to Torres! But seriously, I don't Duff's much of a loss. He was alright from what I saw, but nothing overly special.
