Crown and Inverness Union
You are correct, it's a rebranding of the old Scotrail team who've rebranded after Abellio refused to fund them. Seemingly they've gone with the Thistle AFC title due to some of the players playing for the real Thistle at youth level. There's also a Caley in the Welfare League system as well. It isn't though a refusenik phoenix club, rather the pub team for the Caledonian bar! There's a Citadel somewhere as well. Also begs the question, do ICT still own the rights to the Thistle name and other things? I would have thought they would.

Ex-ICT players' news
Not really an ICT player, but I just heard on Radio Scotland there that Stuart Garden (who was made redundant after we were relegated) is now the goalkeeper coach at Dundee United. I knew he was the manager of Montrose at one stage but I didn't realise that's where he was now. According to Wikipedia, he was GK coach at Airdrie for a while after that as well.

Thought he had a decent game today.

Fon Williams or Brill
I think the Charlton game was his first 90 minutes, as I'm sure I saw him play in the second half of our first pre-season game that season - a 9-0 away win at Keith on an absolutely roasting day.

Inverness CT -V- Hibernian
It seems to have gone unnoticed, but putting the team line up aside, one thing I couldn't understand was what we were doing for set pieces. When we were in an attacking position, we'd have Horner forward, yet we'd leave Wedderburn, probably our biggest player on the park and one who'd hit the post only the Saturday before, was kept back to defend. On the other hand, when we'd defend a set piece, we'd keep Hughes (probably the tallest player in the side) forward. Why? It just doesn't make sense.

Fon Williams or Brill
Fon Williams offered a new deal. Presume Brill will be away if he signs it.

Periscope Live Football
A few clubs have a live coverage subscription service. If I remember rightly, Falkirk were doing it as far back as 2008. Definitely something the club should look into but I'm sure I heard somewhere that the internet at the stadium isn't good enough (or something like that).

Team for County
If there was ever a game to have wingers on their natural sides this was it. If there's one thing Ross County struggle with, it's crosses into the box. There's also the case that they might choose to stick with the back three they are started with in the final. If there was ever a game to stretch the game and exploit the wide areas, this is the game to do it.

Periscope Live Football
I wonder if Periscope football will be a bit of a flash in the pan. Will people really sit for ninety minutes watching wee dots moving around on their phone while they sit on the toilet? And what about the people filming it? Honestly, why would you bother? Reminds me of a few years back attempting to watch a midweek away tie at Morton on some webcam near the ground. I gave up after about ten minutes and the only players I could recognise were Ryan Esson and Ross Tokely!

caley stewards
Not true. I believe you are meant to be allocated a seat but there's no rule that says said person must remain seated at all times.

IF we needed a new manager.....
And I'm not convinced either would do better than the incumbent. Robbo in-particular might be a good motivator and an enthusiastic character, but aside from us (where he inherited a very good Steve Paterson side and added his pal Bingham to it), his record overall is rather poor.

No thanks on either. Especially the latter.

John Hughes has to be sacked ASAP!!!
What team have you been watching this season? The problem has been that when we go a goal up we sit back, almost as if our defence is sellotaped to the edge of the box and invite pressure. Didn't you see that at Dens Park the other week? Probably not.... Also your belief that Newport have Butcher to thank for their upturn in form is preposterous and laughable.

Jimmy Calderwood?! The man's a dinosaur, a bully and an egomaniac.

John Hughes has to be sacked ASAP!!!
Playing too cautiously has been part of the problem this season. What we need is to play a far more attacking, expansive game.

I've been reliably informed Vincent will be released due to Hughes' belief that he is too injury-prone.

John Hughes has to be sacked ASAP!!!
Do you not think this has become extremely tiresome? Whether it's on here (under a variety of usernames), P&B, Facebook or some Tartan Army forum, you're obsessed with demanding people's sacking. Why? We hit a bad spell (no matter what the circumstances or the success we've had previously) and as predictably as night follows day, you come in with posts that almost make sound like you're screaming at your computer screen. At the start these meltdowns were funny, but now this obsession seems to have become sad, predictable and pathetic.

Well at least he's not as bad as Mahonio's previous suggestions - Steve Lomas and Ally McCoist!
