  2. I wonder if a back 5 would work for us. King can't play, while Hearts often line-up with a 4-4-2 with two attacking wingers. A wonder if a back 5 would neutralise them. Something like - Fon Williams Horner Raven Warren Meekings Tremarco Tansey Draper Vigurs Boden Fisher Bench - Esson, Polworth, Mulraney, Brown, Doran, Sutherland, MacRae
  3. Press and Journal suggesting today that we will make an offer for El Alagui. Potentially a very good signing IF he can stay fit.
  4. Next week's game, along with the initial set of U20 fixtures are being played at Station Park in Nairn.
  5. Also I see Andre Blackman has joined Jordan Roberts at Crawley Town. This is his sixth club since his bizarre spell with us. He's only made 13 first team appearances in that time.
  6. Apparently Brora Rangers' striker Paul Brindle (from Muir of Ord and previously with Clach) is a target for Barnet and Lincoln City. Possibly a target for us? He could be heading to the level we normally scout from so I wonder if given time he might come good with us as well.
  7. I see Jordan Gibbons (who we brought in on loan from QPR in 2013) has retired through injury. I see he's only 22 and had a short spell at Yeovil before retiring at the end of last season.
  8. HT - 1-0 FT - 2-0 Boden Davies 4,112
  9. 0-0 1-1 Flannigan Tansey 618
  10. When you say 'ICTFC Pride of the Highlands' out loud it sounds like some no-mark political party contesting a council by-election.
  11. Surprised to hear Foran claim that Boden had a good game. My own view and that of everyone I spoke to post-match was that he was very poor. I don't think he has the work rate to play as the lone striker.
  12. HT - PT 0-1 ICT FT - PT 1-2 ICT PT - Doolan ICT - Tansey 3,617
  13. HT - ICT 1-0 Arbroath FT - ICT 3-0 Arbroath ICT - Tansey Arbroath - Linn 1,601
  14. This. I don't have a problem with the name being initalised (there's clubs in the world that don't have their name on it at all), but this Pride of the Highlands stuff is just embarrassing, naff nonsense. Seems to be something that club seems to embrace these day such as that horrendous 'Together We Believe' claptrap. Reminds me of a while back I was going to buy that ICT hoodie thing that came out before I saw that the dreadfully tacky '#TogetherNess' was written in big silver letters on the back. The club lost the sale from that.
  15. Long time since I've seen a fishing trip get so many bites!
  16. HT - Pars 1-1 ICT FT - Pars 2-1 ICT Pars - Higginbotham ICT - Tansey 1918
  17. I can exclusively reveal a photo of our new signing... Welcome home our Estonian prince!
  18. Did we ever sign Aiden McKee, the youth from Edinburgh?
  19. HT - ICT 1-1 DU FT - ICT 2-2 DU ICT - Tansey DU - Murray Crowd - 2,079
  20. Probably a lot of truth in this. Tremarco, Raven, Draper, Horner, McNaughton and Jason Brown can all play in there. To be honest, a centre-back who's 6"3+ would be nice to have but we could survive without.
  21. Seemingly Cove Rangers centre-back Blair Yule is (or has recently been) on trial with Doncaster Rovers. Surely he's worth a look for us as well.
  22. I'd have thought Thurso Caley Mahonio would've been a better name.
  23. The club announce this less than 48 hours before a game, with many fans unknowingly going to the turnstile as normal on Saturday. I'd be very surprised if this doesn't cause chaos and could well just turn into more hassle. Not exactly productive for encouraging fans to attend.
  24. Would Higginbotham have been a good signing? Potentially yes. Would I have been happy had we signed him? Yes. Is it possible he might continue his regular form of having a great game once in a blue moon, followed by weeks of invisibility? Yes. Am I disappointed we didn't sign him? Not really.
