It might sound to you that people want him to fail, but they don't. For what it's worth, I like Hughes as a man - he seems a much nicer bloke than Butcher and I'd love to see him be a success. That's not to say I don't have reservations over some of the things I've seen and it's only right that those are highlighted when they happen.

Do you think they'll ever add another tier(s) to the MLS? Presume they'd have to regionalise it somehow due to the sheer size of the place.

I wonder if Proctor failed to settle. Saw him a two or three times in the ICT end at away games last season. Piermayr was quite a good player actually and I've have like to have seen him stay. Was offered a new deal by Butcher IIRC but wanted to back closer to home.

Actually yes. I've heard many stories about the players out and about and some of them as people, sound absolutely horrendous. I wouldn't at all be surprised if they drunkenly rubbed someone up the wrong way and thus led to this scuffle.

Did that Rahan Ali ever sign? For those who don't remember, he's a New Zealander who has some connection to Inverness and was signed for the U19 squad. He's in the ICT team in Football Manager, but is he actually here because I never heard about him again since the announcement.

You sure you were listening to the right players as our game was on BT Sport, not Alba! Not sure what will happen with the pitch over the summer, but the club are painfully aware that it's not in the condition they would like it to be. I heard a while back that the groundsman wants to go to plastic. It might suit the game that Hughes wants to play, but it wouldn't be my preference to be honest. Why's the pitch taking such a battering this year by the way? I don't remember seeing it look so poor in a long time as it did at that Stranraer game (looking a bit better recently mind).

There's one thing we didn't do yesterday, but I'd like to see is Doran and Watkins (and maybe Vincent as well), all switching positions. It'd be quite a good way of messing around opposition defences as well I think and I also think Doran's a better player on the right.

People often talk about Mckay, Doran et al being targets for Butcher and others, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were more likely to go for the likes of Ryan Christie. Quite simply, we need to tie him on a long term deal NOW. That guy has a heck of a lot of talent and I really believe he will one day play for this country. Get him signed up for the next four years at least IMO.
