  1. If they can't raise their game above the level they showed on Saturday (against one of the poorest sides in the league) I seriously doubt they will remain in the SPL.
  2. You cannot be serious. Presumably you weren't up here on Saturday?
  3. I couldn't give a monkeys who, when, and where we play after the split... All I want to see is an ICT side on the field playing a style of football that would be worth shelling out ?25 to go and watch.
  4. Israel is a terrorist state supported and funded by the US and UK governments. Still.... at least our very own Tony Blair is a middle east peace envoy... if we can't trust him to sort them all out, who can we trust? When it comes to kicking US asses Tony's just the very man for the job...
  5. You still believe ICT will finish above St Mirren and Hamilton?
  6. Looks like this lady must have been reading some of the posts on here... Undemocratic Labour Party
  7. Awww... C'mon now Knowledge... A tad short of the milk of human kindness with that comment. Surely you can overlook his shortcomings as a player? I have it on good authority his other attributes more than compensate for any lack of skills he might occasionally demonstrate on the field of play. In fact according to my good friend FW the BIG guy has no shortcomings in any department whatsoever!!
  8. If he had access to the pies they serve up in hospitality it's a wonder he got any announcements out! As for the ones the plebs get to buy for around ?1.60 each they're disgusting... The last time I bought one of these - I took a bite - and then wrapped it up to present it to my grossly overweight lab when I got home.... He refused to touch it.
  9. This thread seems to have changed direction.... Canada Bob was commenting on the fact that the Labour Party is not the party it once purported to be....and I for one strongly agree with him. The Labour Party, for many decades, represented a host of working class traditions...it was also a very democratic party. As Bob rightly suggests it now appears to have been hijacked by a bunch of elitists hell bent on pursuing their own narrow agendae - most of these related to utter greed. I still say this "hijacking" process really took off with the appointment of Tony Blair and the creation of something called "New Labour" What did you do in the Great War, Dam?
  10. CD.... Were you not tempted to scream over the tannoy - Morais you useless fecker when he lobbed the ball over the Hamilton keeper - and the bar.
  11. What a feckin awful game.... I really fear for the whole future of football in Scotland... The clubs should pay the supporters to go and watch crap like that.
  12. I couldn't give an Eartha Kitt who lines up for ICT today.... All that matters is whoever is picked plays to their full potential, gives 100%, and doesn't make any stupid mistakes. If that happens, victory today and survival in the SPL would be virtually assured.
  13. Graeme Souness's interview/article in the Sun, shortly after he became manager there, was probably not one of his most thoughtful or sensitive decisions.
  14. It began with the death of John Smith and the appointment of one Anthony Charles Lynton Blair as party leader. I had high hopes that Gordon Brown would bring about a change the direction of the party after Blair's disastrous last few years in office.... I couldn't have been more wrong.... These hopes were very quickly extinguished.

I've had the distinct impression that Satellite TV football coverage has enriched and enhanced the game south of the border for some time now. Am I wrong in thinking it has had the opposite effect here in Scotland?
  16. Excellent post Stan... You should send that off to every heavyweight paper in the UK.... Tony Blair's trumped up case for going to war with Iraq damaged this country irrevocably.
  17. Brewster could very well through his hat in the ring for this one too.... He's got a lot of experience at managing in the SPL of course...
  18. Liberia...
  19. Very fair Harry...I'm sorry I upset both you and TheKnowledge. I didn't realise you two were so close!
  20. Yep... Ditto to that!! :thumb04:
  21. I would have said the exact opposite to that.... I thought he started off well and gradually went downhill. Maybe we can blame Brewster for that of course.
  22. Eh why JB? Expect at least a three page essay answer!!! I set out my thoughts on that when Brewster left.... Briefly... He's a supporter, he's very happy living here in Inverness - he would have been prepared to take the job on a long term basis, he gets on well with the players here, he's got a good track record with ICT, good man management skills, he's got good connections and a well respected profile which would have helped attract new players to the club... Sorry it's not a 3 page essay - I like TB and MM too....but I still would have been happier to see Robbo back here again, with DP has his Number 2.
  23. Never been more sincere, young Knowledge....
  24. That's a wee bit harsh Chibby babe, and if I may so, not a very appropriate choice of words. As for psychologist's wet dream that is an extremely scary thought - especially taking into account who this website's resident psychologist is....
  25. He's got serious problems DC.... He should be pitied rather than scolded.
