  1. Which would probably make it less harmful than it is now! See here.
  2. So why single him out and call him inneffective? Thanks to the way Morton set out their stall last Saturday, none of our forwards were effective. The whole team ground out a result on the day thanks to their persistence. Surely Ross deserves some credit for being in the right place at the right time, to finish off one of the very few chances that came the team's way. I also noticed you described Proctor's performance that day as "p1sh". Do you really think that kind of "constructive" crititism helps the team's cause in any way, shape or form?
  3. Always an interesting debate this, Birdog, and you present your case for a rethink on the present laws governing drug/substance use very cogently. Although I always used to believe anyone should have the right to eat, drink, smoke, snort, sniff, anything they like - so long as it doesn't inconvenience anyone else, nowadays I'm much more inclined to favour the argument presented by Oz on Page 1 of this thread. It's probably an age thing! Regarding my old avatar and signature, which I adopted when I first joined this site, I wasn't trying to make any kind of a statement with these..... There were many on here who suggested some my early posts gave the impression of a junkie with smoke coming out his ears. I was quite happy to go along with that idea at the time - maybe I just left them in place for too long. Johnboy, From The Shadow of Walton Mountain, Virginia.
  4. I can't be arsed doing any kind of meaningful research into all this, but I strongly believe excessive use of cannabis can lead to depression, paranoia and even schizophrenia. Add to that the problems caused by dodgy dealers peddling substances of very doubtful quality. That's even happening right here in Inverness.... I say don't listen to your peer groups....Stay away from it all Take up horse riding and mountaineering instead.
  5. And they're well on their way to doing just that. (Four booked and 1 sent off last night)
  6. Interesting..... But I don't think you should read too much into these projections all the same. A lot can happen in these remaining 10 games.
  7. Ach,a point on a Wednesday night in Ayr isnae to be sniffed at,seem to mind it took a late dodgy penalty for you lads to scrape the same result at home a couple of weeks back! Seems we had far more chances once down to 10 men. Care to take the bottle of malt bet i offered Mannie in another thread? since he didnae respond :) Yeah.... I'll maybe take you up on that - after Saturday.... :004:
  8. Another sair ane tonight, eh H/Dee! And probably quite a few more to come yet..... :) :) :) :)
  9. All over 1-1 Great result for us!!!!!!
  10. Yeap.... A draw still an excellent result for us.
  11. It'll be even more nervewracking when we play them both - one after the other - final two games of the season.
  12. Long way to go....
  13. Do you think it's a good idea for any of them to think that? Barrowman, when he arrived at ICT clearly thought he was more important because of the ludicrous wage deal he was on. I might conceed that Grant Munro, as captain, has some importance within the squad, but I don't really like this poll.
  14. Naah.... He's posted too many unflattering comments on Ross Tokely. I reckon it was the bloke sitting just along from me in the stand at Grant St Park, that spilled a mug of coffee all over himself, when Lionel almost scored with a spectacular overhead/scissor kick.
  15. County have still got 3 games in hand over the Pars, including two against them. Can't see them (the Pars) finishing in the top 3.
  16. I can recall Lionel playing really well against Celtic (0-0) shortly after TB took charge. He was up against guys like Robson and Nakamura and aquitted himself very well. Don't think playing against the likes of County should unfaze him. I think he could do a job for us in a "Foran type" role. The only reservations I have about him is that his unpredictability can have an unsettling effect on the back four, when he plays at LB. Golly's deffo the best option for that position at the moment.
  17. Correct Alex.... It's a team game - every member of the squad is important.
  18. No.... He meant the hypothetical dimwit in his own post.
  19. I feel sorry for Lionel. Everybody notices his every mistake. It's unfortunate, he is so noticeable and so instantly recogniseable on the pitch because he's so emm, err... tall. :)
  20. Anyway.... It's not going to happen for either Dundee or County. ICT ARE GOING UP :) Believe!
  21. I really hope your on the wind up. The guy is a bomb scare. he had one ok run against a highland league team but he mis controlled the ball a couple of times and 'one wee defensive mis-cue'?? He had the ball inside his own box and passed it straight to a Clach forward in the box who blasted over the bar, if he does that on sat then its a goal to County. Not on the wind up at all. I've been saying for long enough that Lionel is not a defender. But I really believe he could add a lot to the team from central or left midfield. It might even be worth trying him as an out and out striker. Do you think Barrowboy would have scored last night with that chance that Lionel gifted to Clach?
  22. Yeah.... County for me, 'cos coming up the A9 really p1sses off that Chic Young cretin. Take your point about 3rd rate satellite TV, and daft radio presenters on "open all mics" all the same.
  23. That's a wee bit close to them for comfort, is it not?
  24. Is there a designated stand for away supporters?
  25. I was surprised and disappointed with the attendance at this highly prestigious Cup Final. Couldn't have been any more than around 350.
