  1. Well, I went and saw my favourite team grind out a terrific result today. Just 3 points behind Dundee now, who look as if they're beginning to wobble. Is this really a good time to be so critical of TB and the team he selected today?
  2. Well, I'm awful glad he was on for 65 minutes. When did Mannie last score with the end of his tinkle?
  3. I can't understand how so many can go to the same football match and see so many different things.
  4. Apart from the goal, you mean?
  5. What did he do wrong, Mannie?
  6. Today's game was a classic case of Butcher not having done his homework. It took him 70 minutes to realise that Hayes and Ross might be more effective on opposite flanks.
  7. I'd rather see Tokely at LB than CB... Regards Ross and Hayes if they hadn't been switched round we probably wouldn't have scored.
  8. Exactly, D_B_S This was a very decent result today. Morton came here looking for a draw and made life pretty difficult for us. I can't believe some of the critical comments I have read on this thread - we won the game ffs. Did anyone else notice we were playing into the teeth of a gale all through the first half, which by the time the second half kicked off, had magically vanished.
  9. Nick Ross did okay today, and it good that he got the goal.... I do agree Foran was a big miss, and will be an ever bigger miss against County.
  10. smile when you've drunk some.... beer

  13. True..... And the more games you play, the more injuries you are likely to pick up.
  14. I'd be even happier to see them getting a game..... Instead of? Glad to hear these lads are getting another season, but I'd rather have experienced players on the pitch for a promotion fight. You win nothing with youngsters. Alan Hansen said that! Golabeck's doing a decent job at LB just now, but I'd prefer to see Shinnie as cover for that position than Lionel. From what I saw of Nick Ross in the pre-season friendlies and in one game against Partick, he did enough to convince me he's got what it takes - capable of playing wide on either side - very similar to Jonny Hayes - comfortable on the ball, good pace, and likes to run at defenders. He wouldn't let anybody down if selected.
  15. I'd be even happier to see them getting a game.....
  16. Came across this on P&B - this poster has a point - dogs can be pretty stupid. Cats everytime for me, far more inteligent than those .................... John, can you provide a link please as the content is above our threshold Cheers
  17. Yeah if Foran and Golly are out then that has to be the team. I've completely lost faith in Djebi Zadi and Shinnie hasn't has enough experience to start at left back in a must win away game. I would be happy with that line up. Are you heading for Greenock for this one, because this is a home game!!
  18. I hope both County and Dundee go through.... The more games for them to be involved in the better for us.
  19. Renegade : Is this you?
  20. Maybe a chance for Nick Ross?
  21. According to Answers.com
  22. Don't tempt fate.... There's a first time for anything, whatever the stats suggest.
  23. I'm inclined to agree with Renegade - the defence did look a bit shaky last night - a better side than QoS would have given us problems. I still live in hope that someday I will see the same line-up that knocked Motherwell out the Scottish Cup. That was : Esson Proctor Bulvitis Munro Tokely Hayes Duncan Cox Sanchez Foran Rooney Having said that, it wouldn be unfair to drop Golabeck who is playing well just now.
  24. What other hobbie things will you be doing?
  25. I must admit when I look at my own bank statement, I'm more likely to notice something I've been mistakenly charged for, rather than something I've haven't been charged for!
