  2. What friendlies ? :finger03:
  3. I'm pretty sure setanta were offering ?125m over 4 years and the proposed new deal is less than ?100m over 5 years .
  4. Could not agree more. The pink pranett is a MAJOR factor in us playing 1st division football IMO. Got to lay the blame squarely at Butchers door for picking him IMHO .

  6. I hope they get pumped . C'mon the Germans .
  7. Neither did Brewster , you'll find it was Terry Butcher that was in charge when we got relegated .
  8. Runnies and/or dangers
  9. After reading the topic title I'm not sure if its a compliment or not ?
  10. how will the club be covered re insurance ?
  11. Can't be marriage if they're already Mr and Mrs can it ?
  12. I reckon it'll be a cakewalk for dungdee and the league will be all but theirs by the new year .
  13. That was the crew I jumped about with SMEE , all good lads that you could trust would have your back covered if needed . The Buckie incident was retaliation to the doing we took in Buckie , old bill kept moving us around the park and as soon as we regrouped and started singing again they would move us on again " for our own safety " .
  14. Caledonian F.C. never forgotten . Always in my heart . Caley til I die .
  15. SMEE your correct , Buckie was a midweek League Cup tie which we lost . We only had 1 bus through and they put the windows in on the outskirts of Buckie after the game . we also were hugely outnumbered and took a good hiding during and after the game with the Buckie polis standing back and watching !! revenge was so sweet when they next came to Telford St. and tried to come into the Howden End via the Main stand side only to be met and driven back by the young Howdenenders , happy , happy days . I also recall lots of action at Qualifying Cup finals in Elgin and Nairn .
  16. My dad started taking me to Telford St. in the early 70's and by the time I was 8 i was a season ticket holder though i cant remember ever using it ( jooping in was a part of the education ) . When I was a teenager i hardly missed a game home or away and was involved in loads of memorable scraps in places like Elgin , Peterhead , Buckie and dingwall . Must admit a huge part of me died with the merger and the death of my team Caledonian . Interestingly enough I dont recall seeing a lot of folk who post on here and claim to have been Caley fans at Telford St .
  17. Sounds like Mr Fraser reads this forum !
  18. We have enough of that in the stands , remember the great laugh it was singing the famine song ?
  19. I dont mind the hooters , One way home wasn't too bad an album .
  20. So are we saying Butcher screwed up by signing him in the first place ?
  21. BA you've just copied RiG :party01:
  22. From todays Highland News ......... Eric Odhiambo is another that we're quite hopeful about. He really could have made a big impact in the SPL last season, but was unlucky with injuries. Eric's a player who has the ability to trouble defences, he's quick and is firmly becoming a fans' favourite
