Thanks to John Hughes for all that he did for the club, things worked well for both parties when they did work. Shame it ended the way it did. Time to move on now. All the very best of Highland luck to Richie Foran. "Richie Foran's Blue and Red Army" got a good ring to it...

Time to get behind the team as supporters.The highs of last season were amazing. But staying in the top league is always the priority. Wage packet size, number of supporters we punch above our weight and knee jerk reactions to our current circumstances are negating the bigger picture. Can't believe in a footballing year which has given our club European football and a national trophy that we as supporters can be so fickle. Only a couple of weeks ago we beat the team being touted as potential league winners.This is when we should be digging deep and sticking together both on and off the field.

Fantastic on all counts DBJ, great memories of a special day. Made even better with the news that we are going to give leftover money to a Rumanian Charity. All the Rumanians we met were very warm and friendly and we will have great memories of their country. Chris was one of our group and hails from Forres.Cheers again those buses will live long in ICT folklore.

2 x 49 seater coaches now booked for return transfer from Bucharest to Giurgiu. Waiting for confirmation of kick-off time before confirming cost but looks like it will only be about £10 per person. The above Event link currently takes care of about 50 of these 98 seats - add your details to the list if you want in. Coaches will leave from central Bucharest in plenty time for kick off and return to central Bucharest after the match. Fantastic, well done DBJ!

Hi there, If possible can you give us a run down of transport options from Bucharest to the ground and their price. Could you also provide contact details for companies that could provide transport. Also what's the best way to get to Ruse and where would you recommend staying and going out there. Thanks!

There's two (possibly three) of us staying in Bucharest and would be interested in chipping in towards a large taxi, minibus or coach to the ground.

I've got a couple of spare tickets in the Ireland end for this game which I am looking to sell. Fantastic. So proud of the team and all supporters who made the journey to Hampden. There was a real feeling of community there and never thought we'd see such a large and noisy Highland support. Well done ICT.

Thanks to Butcher and Malpas. They did well and had some good times. They're history now. Steve Paterson's and Grant Munro's departures felt more to me that the club was losing something more intrinsic than simply success on the football field. A club like ours needs that connection to its local community in order to thrive. Without it there remains simply a team that happens to play in the area but in reality could be located anywhere. Always my worry when League status was attained that this may be only way to gain success. Maybe being naive but there must be a middle ground of signings from outwith the area coupled with more and better opportunities given to promising local players.Kevin MacDonald for me.

One bad result in a fantastic start to season. Let's try and stay positive and move on. Perth for some reason has been an unhappy hunting ground for four or five seasons for us.

Kingsmills Park was closest to my house as a youngster and was taken to see a Jags against (I think) Montrose Scottish Cup game in early 80's and then followed Thistle through the years. Was initially against the merger and even went to a couple of games and stood in the visitors end. Then moved away from Inverness and began to see the new team as a connection to my home and Highland Invernessian identity and slowly began to warm to them.Realised it was time to move on and how good it was/ could be/ would be top see kids with an ICT top in Inverness as opposed to one of the glasgow teams. Makes me so proud to see the see our local club in Scotland's top divisision.

Well done ICT. Was so proud of the team yesterday. They all played with heart, spirit and skill. Gutted that we did not get at least a draw but went to the game fearing, no expecting, the worst and left it heartened for the rest of season. Our team went to to the home of the Scottish Champions and outplayed them for long sections of the game. They also showed spirit after going a goal down which has always been a hallmark of ICT teams through the years.
