  1. To be fair Andy Shinnie has just been on STV news doing just that! Excellent! Probably all heat of the moment stuff from Terry anyway.
  2. How about praising those that did turn up
  3. No worst miss thread is complete without it sadly, I'll do the deed
  4. Read is as 'problim ;)',(emphasise on the cheeky wink), it was just a poor joke on my behalf. Tone is near impossible to convey on a forum! I agree. Luckily nobody who knows how wikipedia works will take their word as gospel! Just search Ross County and see what comes up! I'm not genuinely a grammar nazi Alex, the post that started this thread was meant fully tongue-in-cheek and not to criticise you at all. As TheMantis has pointed out my grammar isn't all that either, so I'm certainly in no position to get on at anybody.
  5. My mistake about you being critical, I took 'barbary monkey on acid' as a criticism rather than the humorous statement you intended. It's a funny image though, reminds me of the youtube video of a guy from vice magazine going to a dog show on acid. That is very true about the results based system, at school we were taught more how to answer exam papers rather than learn about the subject. One of our teachers was very critical of this, however he still spoon fed us exam papers. Apparently teachers are assessed regionally and nationally and their class results have to literally compare and even compete against an average. Failure to compare calls their competence into question. I could make a go of answering a physics and biology exam but know feck all about them. P.S. incorrect apostrophe on results ;).
  6. Just an incorrect use of an apostrophe, little grammar error there. Get yer own house in order before you criticise others ;)
  7. As long as they have a better grasp than you Alex ;)
  8. Well overused at the end of last season but... ' The Man City fans haven't been this happy since they were Chelsea fans'.
  9. Rules mise out. Can't say this being moved is a surprise at all
  10. PHEW, didn't see this happening at half time!
  11. Have the supporters' club and trust merged?
  12. Don't all the youth players want to be involved with the first team? I'd be worrying about his ambition levels if he had said anything else. I think Luke was getting at the fact he not only hopes but HAS a serious chance of being involved in the first team this season, which he took from his reading of said player's twitter. This is in deep contrast to most youth players who hope but do not have a serious chance of being involved in the first team this season (or ever as things have panned out recently ;) ).
  13. I really don't get the fuss, been there, paid over the odds and was served glorified fast food.
  14. As gutted as everybody else on here. You'll be sorely missed.
  15. The club are going to risk losing out on hundreds of pounds just to save themselves the cost of a stamp....are you for real!!!! Not to put words in Fraz's mouth, I think the comment was meant tongue in cheek
  16. No, we all support Inverness Caledonian Thistle
  17. I really like Hibs' idea, although if I was a supporter I wouldn't be guaranteed my ticket. It's as good a method as any to make sure only the real supporters get their hands on tickets (assuming tickets do sell out before they have the chance to go on general sale) and not into the hands of touts and the glory hunting brigade. However I can see some folk getting upset as their will undoubtedly be Hibs fans who attend most away games and be real fans but have no chance of seeing their team have a chance of winning a cup they haven't won in a wee while. Regardless of what you think, offering future season ticket holders priority tickets if they pay up is a very, very shrewd move - wouldn't complain if we used our house like that!
  18. I think so. Can Butcher account for Tade missing a sitter against St Johnstone or McKay hitting the post when clean through today? If we had won our last 2 games (which we easily could have done so) I reckon the responses towards Butcher would be overwhelmingly positive.
  19. Informative, well balanced analysis on the 90 minutes. Pleasing.
  20. Johndo loves the fluffy wool.... and bad grammar it would appear! Aah but is it bad Gaelic grammar or bad english grammar. Bearing in mind that whatever makes sense in gaelic sounds very stupid in direct translation. example: De an t'ainmh a tha ort? What name is at you. Maybe Capital had a handsome source to check up on a certain one's grammar.
