  1. I thought Russell deserved to get MoM for his solid and fully committed midfield performance; and his superb goal.
  2. It does indeed go quiet on here when things are going well. BTW where are Bonzo and Midge these days :024: CC deserves a pat on the back for the good job he is doing. He has been on a steep learning curve but the team is playing well and if the form of the recent weeks is maintained, a top 6 finish could well be achieved

    Proctor

I always thought Procter had a lot of potential and did a good job for us when called upon. I would welcome his return in the summer.
  4. Why does this subject keep on rearing its ugly head. No good would come of it if we were involved, it will likely cost the club financially to compete and it will disrupt the league campaign. In addition, CC is very sceptical about the merits of Intertoto - should his views not be listened to.
  5. As Scotty says if they're good enough then we take players from anywhere. Most of our County recruits have done a job, so I don't see the problem with going back there in the future.

    Rory

I was very impressed with Rory's performance on Saturday. His first touch and close control has greatly improved, if he continues playing like this he will make a big contribution to the team. I've heard that Charlie has been impressed with Rory at training. It will be interesting to see what Rory makes of his opportunity in the first team.
  7. The club should get Black on the first bus to Edinburgh if Hibs are offering £200k.
  8. The Teenage Fanclub.
  9. Blue Nile - Scotland best kept secret (Paul Buchanan, Glasgow's Frank Sinatra). Mantis, didn't you have a pal who was a big Blue Nile fan?
  10. Keogh was a decent 1st division player but I don't think he had enough quality at SPL level. I suppose robbed him of the opportunity to establish himself in the SPL.
  11. Ah but let's not get facts in the way of a good tabloid headline.
  12. That's the kiss of death, folks.
  13. I never trust a player in tights :004:
  14. A superb result today and a great team performance, everybody played their part and fought and chased every ball which made it very hard for Hibs to play. I was very pleased with Fraser's performance and I hope he continues in this way for the rest of the season.
  15. Very sad to see Mark go and I wish him all the best, except if he plays against us. He made a huge contribution to the success of ICT over the last 4 years. He was a major reason for the sound defensive repututation that ICT has been known for. Mark has been on a modest salary since he left Rangers and I cannot blame him for securing a greatly enhanced contract with Celtic. All the best Mark, your place in ICT history is secure.
  16. How many times has he talked himself into getting booked or even worse kicking the ball away. He has let his team, the manager and the fans down on a frequent basis and has shown little sign that he is learning from his mistakes. A long spell on the bench may just start to reguster with him that he must mend his ways.
  17. If I was CC I would have Black on the bench for 2 months as a learning experience.
  18. I wonder if Tommy has given permission for this concert to happen on his pitch :024:
  19. Agreed. I think this latest injury will result in the end of his playing career.
  20. Agree with Scotty that we need a new defender regardless of the fact that Caff will probably replace Dodds. Caff deserves to get a run in the team next season, CC will then be able to assess if the Munro and Caff partnership is going to work again.
  21. Nevermind the £200k, the barsteward cost me a 10 point max on the NPL.
  22. Smith has really gone down in my estimation after walking away from the Scotland job. With the great work that he did to get Scotland top of the group he would never have got sacked in 2008, so he is illadvised to use this as a lame excuse for thaking the 'Gers job - shame on him.
  23. I don't think we've ever really given Aberdeen a truely tough game or done ourselves justice. With just a little bit more guile we really should have beaten them by now. Here's hoping for Saturday and if they show the same attitude and start the game as well as they did against Stirling then will not be far away from 3 points.
  24. So Mildge55, what do you suggest we should have aimed for, how about Anthony Stokes. I'm sure there's a spare £2m washing about and we could have matched the wages on offer - yeah right...
  25. This is very sporting and accommodating of ICT to agree to this change but I hope the club is going to get some compensation for the loss revenue that will result in the game been played on a Sunday.
