  2. Not sure if it's possible to get a CTO POY current state of play...but, my tuppence worth: 1. Doranaldo 2. McKakay 3. Shinniesta
  3. HT: 0-0 FT: 1-1 1st ICT: Mckay 1st Opp: Heffernan Crowd: 2675
  4. Harassing the elderly...resulting in one of them resigning. Shocking!
  5. Yep, I usually circle this one in the diary but forgot this year. The on-creep of senility...though that evening is still crystal clear. Tomorrow: 3-1. McKay hat trick.
  6. HT: 1 - 1 FT: 3 - 1 1st ICT: McKay 1st Opp: Hooper Crowd: 5983
  7. Scarlet I've just reached the 'Deep Heat as drug of choice' stage, though I can sometimes be tempted by a robust Australian Cab Sauv. See you Friday. You're buying.

  9. How about an eleven team top league... ...seems to be working well this year.
  10. Dudek v Shevchenko...best, and most influential, double save ever... 1:08
  11. Pull yourself together mun...!
  12. Something was niggling me in bed early this morning... ...but enough of that. So does this mean, come the end of the season, if (as is pefectly plausible) Foran and McKay have league suspensions for the first 2 games of 13/14 that we can just 'loan' them to a team playing in a summer league, wait for that team to play a couple of games - not forgetting to announce that they would've been picked if not for the suspension - cancel the loan deal and be hunky dory for next season's SPL game 1. The players wouldn't even need to get off their Phuket hammocks. This could catch on.

  14. Billy didn't even make The Guardian's "miss of the week"... ach, it happens. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/video/2013/jan/28/football-miss-of-the-week-video
  15. Being able to, finally, stand at an SPL ground yesterday was one of the day's highlights. Well done to whoever it was who turned a blind eye. Football attendances would multiply 100-fold* if this was the general policy. *I'm exaggerating for effect Wasn't an SPL match so the "you must sit" rule does not apply. Have to say I wasn't aware of that. Maybe my football outings from now on will be restricted to cup matches. So nobody can stop me standing at Killie on Saturday? This season just gets better and better!

  17. Actually he was. The Hearts fans loved him and he really was a massive pest...he'll be a headline maker for the rest of the season.
  18. Used to love this in 'Shoot'... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/nov/22/juan-mata-chelsea#_
  19. ...and another thing. How is it that one team is automatically awarded 3/4 of a ground in a national cup semi-final? (I am aware of the relative fan base but on the odd occasion they woke up it was, to all intents and purposes, a home game for them.) Nuts.
  20. Worst. Refereeing. Performance. Ever. That's all...
  21. HT: 0-1 FT: 3-1 1st ICT: McKay 1st Opp: Zaliukas Crowd: 14,863 1st Yellow Card: Webster
