    Happy birthday Foggy...
  2. Twitter is the ruination of English, of communication, of all that is good about the British way of life; if Terry goes down this path I'll

Agree. Enjoyed reading that. Even if Mr Broadfoot isn't keeping stats any more I hope he will consider doing more of these season reviews. Triggered some good memories of 2010-11. Thanks.
  4. Adam Rooney obviously. OK so he's got a couple of goals (lucky deflections for the most part!) his lack of fitness and persistent injuries meant he was always unlikely to repay TB's faith in him. Yet for some reason the fans adored him for the first-half against Dundee United in this season's opener. Downhill all the way from then eh Adam? Any prospective new employer would be a fool to take a risk on the guy...but with 3 more years hard work in the highlands under the watchful stewardship of Terry & Mo, who knows, maybe he could make an impact.
  5. If I didn't know well enough the SPL's track record I'd say all this mucking around with dates and times was pathetic. But... So in future whenever we intend going to a football match, at any point up to game day these tits can arbitrarily change the KO time with zero consideration of fans' plans? When was this discussed/agreed? Who agreed this? Who was consulted? Last chance for me for some ICT footie this season just disappeared. :annoyed:
  6. ...am holding out for Feyenoord -v- ICT
  7. If we go to 10-team is it next season that 2 will definitely drop?...have completely lost track of all this political shenanigan. Apologies, slightly
  8. (correction)...on the treatment table following contract negotiations!
  9. I get the feeling that once the away record was achieved, coupled with the relative safety from any likelihood of being embroiled in a relegation battle, the players thought "promoted club, job done" and switched off. Hayes injury, and others, certainly didn't help and if there is reportedly some unease in the camp then I can well imagine a few minds have wandered forward to the close season. Last season we didn't wake up until New Year, this time it's the complete opposite. Puzzling.
  10. According to a reliable source: If you are a Channel 67+ or Premium subscriber overseas, although it will only be a single camera, you can watch the whole game live. If you are a subscriber in the UK & Eire you will be able to watch the whole game as live 24 hours after the final whistle.
  11. Celtic TV Premium will be showing it...I thought they covered every game. Or a meringue?
  12. Define "a while" please.
  13. Thanks Scotty. That's better...I was quick to slag them off after Easter Road so credit where it's due. Mind you, Esson in that form is like having an extra defender...and am I the only one to think Rosscoe handled that goal-line clearance? None of the 'Well players seemed to appeal for it so maybe it's me old eyes failing me.
  14. Richard Gough (quite interesting quote in today's Scotsman): "People are queuing up to condemn what happened last week," said Gough, "but they will still be tuning in to watch when the Old Firm meet again in the League Cup final on 20 March. These hypocrites are saying how terrible it all is, but they'll still be watching. "Last Wednesday was just a case of history repeating itself as far as the Old Firm are concerned. We had all this nonsense back in 1987 when I played in the 2-2 game at Ibrox which saw Terry Butcher, Chris Woods, Frank McAvennie and Graham Roberts all charged with breach of the peace. "Yet it was handbags at dawn stuff. Terry grabbed Frank around the neck and the rest of us were laughing at the time. But Terry and Chris ended up being convicted and got a criminal record. They were even banned from travelling to the USA for a few years because of it, it was crazy. What happened to them was diabolical and, for that reason alone, politicians and the authorities should stay out of football. I honestly believe football should be regulated by football people. The government shouldn't be involved at all." http://sport.scotsman.com/sport/Old-Firm-Richard-Gough-urges.6730240.jp
  15. ...nor any longer the generation of people who were taught to respect authority... Have a green dot sir. No technology, no video replays, no bloody 4th official...just 22 players, a ref and 2 linesman.

Loving the reverse psychology. Just put 50 quid on a Rooney hatrick / 5-1 win...500/1
  17. DU are shoo-in top 6. Let them go and keep Aberdeen behind us. I'll take a DU win tonight
  18. I remember STANDING at one of our pre-SPL matches and watching Bobby collect the ball deep in his own half. Even before he'd shaped to do so I remember saying out loud "Oh yeah, here it comes, the long punt to nowhere" (or similar). 5 seconds later Wyness netted. Have tried to bite my tongue on these matters since. When I think of Tannadice and Ibrox matches this season and compare them to Easter Road on Saturday the sole reason for the demise in playing style is Johnny Hayes lack of fitness. Has ICT ever before had such a lop-sided squad? When Wyness, Mann, Wilson or Robson were absent for a few games did we go off the boil tactically as much? Genuine question, I don't think we really did.
  19. A fine piece of reportage Mary. Great stuff. Though how you managed to concentrate on that pap long enough to note who was making yet another shocking schoolboy error may well be the real story of the day.
  20. What they said...all the way from Rotterdam to watch that crap. We were shyte...from back to front...no ideas...no thought to changing the meaningless punts to Foran/Rooney or the even more pointless punts towards the corner flag. Hibs were rank as well...only less so. One of these days I really will instead go down to the municipal park and watch harum scarum talentless guff football like that played by 12 year olds...but at least it would be free! Scottish football is hitting rock bottom.
  21. According to J.Spence on OAM it's positively summer-like...though that might have been sarcasm. So, either bollock-freezing or balmy t-shirt weather - I'm sure someone will be on to confirm one way or t'other.
  22. Not according to today's Scotsman - 5th para

I think it's a credit to the extent the club has progressed that we supporters no longer feel the need to commmemorate the anniversaries of our so-called giant-killing endeavours by ...er...... starting.. er topics er...

  25. Sack the pair of them. Their treatment of Russeldinho is nothing short of scandalous!
