Murray having a job with the power of Stan at the moment. Tight match, could go either way, 1 set all at the moment, but Stan threatening to pull ahead. Murray's body language tells me he is doomed. 2-1 to Stan in sets now. Murray is playing poor, returning poorly, serving poorly and generally playing poorly, being bullied by Wawrinka.
  4. It reminded me of tothache.
  5. Apparently, they are now known as the Bridge End North Invisibles. They turn up at most matches, noticable by the empty seats around you.
  6. Manchester Riots Twelve rioting football hooligans who took part in what a judge said was the worst destruction Manchester had seen "since the Blitz" have been sentenced.......... Story from BBC News

Underway and Murray in good form at the moment giving Lacko a drubbing.
  8. I'm sure they would if they were less offensive or intimidating words used. If people walked up the High Street and shouted some of the things chanted at a football match they would be arrested, same should apply in the stadium. I can swear with the best of them, but when the words are used in an agressive/intimidating manner then expect some folk to be put off by it.
  9. Cheer me up, why don't you.

I complained about the standard of our throw ins at some point last season but people just kicked sand in my face. Golly was taking most of them and we lost the ball most times. We are still losing 80% of all our throw ins. We would be just as well handing the ball to the opposition. Bring back a bit of variety.
  11. Lucky if there will be 20,000 at this game. We lost 4-2 last time we were away there in CIS (league) Cup, but we certainly gave a good account of ourselves.
  12. Shocked and saddened to hear this news. Hope you can all get through these difficult times and remember Ally as we all knew her.
  13. OK guys, put yer handbags away.
  14. I'll set the wheels in motion, Crusher should make it as well.

Won't be closing the thread as we are all entitled to our opinion being voiced on here. However this one seems to be a little mis-guided. Nick Ross was as good if not better than the rest of the ICT players on the park yesterday.
  16. I like to wait a little to see all eleven rivals before giving out ratings. But as said above, the United game was brilliant, the reverse of that was losing to Hamilton and anything that can be got from the old firm is a bonus. Satisfied............so so.

I disagree that Shane deserved a penalty, in fact we got what we deserved after a pi55 poor performance.
  23. What a disappointing performance after the high of last week. Simon Mensing ruled the roost with Nigel Hasselbaink giving our back four a torrid time. We were as inept as Dundee United, maybe even worse. Nick Ross was close to our best performer and Rossco was our most effective attacker. We never mustered an attack in the first half and Hamilton were first to every loose ball. The ref did not help, but it's not his fault we were diabolical. Jonny Hayes better get his finger out and we need to learn to keep the ball on the deck. Mensing mopped everything up, like taking candy off a baby, we made it far too easy for him. To the goal. What a stonker. No sooner had we settled in to our seats than Dougie cut across our defence, like Paddies goal, we never tackled and he unleashed a venemous strike high into Ryan's top left corner from maybe 25 yards. A fantastic goal, even before we had a chance to berate him. For the rest of the half we were grim. We were more energetic in the second half but lacked any real quality and Mensing gladly accepted anything that came his direction. We should have snapped him up when Mann left, but hey ho. We huffed and puffed and offered too little too late and Hamilton deserved the points. Reality check, wake up guys.

Aye, take a bow Dougie, fantastic goal today. It is annoying but shit happens...............................still what a way to shut the boo boys up.

I am usually in the Nick Ross is rubbish camp, but I'll eat my underpants today and say he was one of our better players. If you want to slate someone..........Jonny Hayes was anonymous today, especially in the first half. I expected big things from Jonny, today was abject disappointment, from the word go. Anyway, this thread is about Nick Ross and he was decent today, in fact I was surprised it was him that was subbed.
