What a bag of tripe that was. Absolutely no midfield. Cox has gone backwards after a promising start. Eagle was like a headless chicken, Stratford was, well just rubbish. Hayes was the only one looking likely to trouble the scorers. Sanchez did nothing all game. Foran seems to be getting more knackered every game. It's just as well the back five can be reasonably stable on their day. Rooney did more when he came on than both the starting strikers and Barrowman showed some neat flicks and touches, unfortunately none in front of the goals. Proctor did ok when he was on. I don't recall the Airdrie keeper having to make a serious save. Hayes took his goal well, beating his man inside the box and firing through the keeper from an angle. He almost repeated that five minutes later. Not enough quality on show and Airdrie should have won. They made better use of any width and were prepared to play football. One Airdrie fan I met in the toilets said, ICT are rubbish, absolutely rubbish...........I had no cause to doubt him after witnessing that. To summarise then.....pass marks for the back five, just, Hayes, Rooney Barrowman and Proctor. Terry Butcher, this is simply not good enough to win this league. Sorry to spoil everybodies weekend, but that was it, utter rubbish.

Simple way to police the offside rule would be to scrap it altogether. What purpose does it serve? It only annoys the hell out of the fans. Many moons ago, when buffalo roamed free, Hearts and Killie played a trial match where there was no offsides. Hearts won something like 7-1, but the plans were scrapped to introduce it.

The RockNess site has to be purpose built for the event. These are massive operations with miles of temporary security fencing erected, stages etc. It would not be viable to build the site for a three/four hour concert. The ideal, would be a ready made site, but the only stadiums in Scotland capable of holding these crowds are in the central belt. Would I go and see Stewart if he came along.......probably, his early stuff was built around me.

Just checked the mods system. It offers a screen to type our report, but not the offer of a pm to the user. I will take that up with the admin. I would have presumed that when you can't type on a topic, something will tell you you are banned and possibly the reason, ie what the mod typed into the box...........no. By the way, another user was also edited for unreasonable replies about the topic starter. And for your info, the opening poster has very seldom reported anything, despite being 'picked on' repeatedly.

Seen as how you asked, I'll tell you exactly how it worked. I banned you from the topic because you were only complaining about the topic starter and not adding anything to the topic. If that is how you felt about it, then you won't require to post on it, and it may deter others who are only too quick to slate the opening poster. The mods are on the case here. It's a forum, we all post rubbish at times, but certain posters get slagged off for it constantly.
