Get Off His Back, Lionel Is A Legend
McBain does not have the presence that Lionel possesses, or the height or the speed. He does have awareness, but that may not be enough, that is why Lionel must play out the season. We can discuss it next week over a large voddie, unless of course you are off the drink, olde git. are you sure it's shure and not sure?

Oh look, I have used selective quoting as well

Kevin Kyle For Scotland?
He played well for Killie last time he was up here. Won everything in the air and was a constant menace, however I agree that he would need to show consistency to be considered for a call up.

Get Off His Back, Lionel Is A Legend
I see the P&J have also got it wrong as well:- <<Despite his unorthodox methods of defending, left-back Lionel Djebi-Zadi also played well at Pittodrie and will be confident of retaining his place when Billy Reid's side travel north. The Frenchman made a number of timely blocks and clearances, including one spectacular overhead kick out of his own penalty area in the first period, and although still wildly unpredictable at times, he does use his speed and strength to good effect.>>

No More Mr Nice Guy
It's just your adams apple Martin. Don't worry about Jimmy Jabby, he is coming along nicely. Looking at the highlights online, he made a couple of last ditch challenges. Would Hastings have done the same, I doubt it.

Ach, he only caught him with his sleeve, there was no arm in it.

Too Negative
To be honest, we should be stuffing Hamilton as they are a pretty poor team. Our goal difference will be important, and a healthy win this weekend, coupled by some favourable results will see us in a much healthier position. All going well, Saints goal difference will be worse before next week and it only needs a two goal swing in the vital matches for us to be sitting pretty. ..........on the other hand....

Too Negative
Read the opening post again ya dorkender. We all know it is squeaky bum time, but should we be so defensive, or should we be more aggressive, and we all know who left us in the doo doo. What I am saying is get stuck in to Hamilton, kilt or no kilt.

Too Negative
Have we become too negative recently, especially away from home. I know our current league position is dictating the way we set out our stall, but have we become too intent on achieving a draw away from home. We have been hugely disappointing since we mugged Rangers. Tamely going down 4-0 at Falkirk and a gutless defeat yesterday at Aberdeen. For me, the manner of the defeat is the biggest disappointment, not being able to create much in the way of goal scoring opportunities whilst clinging on to hold out for victories against St Mirren and Kilmarnock at home. Two teams we should have cruised to victory against, but were unable to make the most when in the ascendancy. For the most part of the season, we have failed to punish teams. Thank Christ for Kilmarnock, they could well prove to be our saviour. So, next week against Hamilton, lets bury them good and proper and if all goes well at the end of the next round of fixtures, we could, could, jump up a few places and help our pathetic goal difference into the batgain. Let's go for it on Saturday. Three plus goals would do nicely.

Team For Hamilton
For fecks sake denegrade, we are in the middle of a relegation battle. Do you really expect us to gamble on a completely untried formation and placement proposition? I like your bravado, but do you really believe what you have typed? Hamilton are a poor side and anything other than a sound thrashing of them will be a poor result. I know they have beaten us twice this year, thanks Jamie for the first loss, but we are a better team than them. I will let Terry pick the team this week, I suspect not much will change from our last teams, other than more attacking formation.

Team For Dons
I'll join the debate then, Vigurs is not good enough yet. Foran has been our best player recently and Kerr did nothing wrong last week without being too flashy. Looks like he will be the one to replace Black next season should we stay up. Come back to our planet soon.

Hamilton Next Week
Couple of pointers for you dart. It's Caley or ICT or the Jaggies. The Hamilton game is not the last game of the season, but the last game before the league splits into two, top six and bottom six. Anyway, enjoy.

First Visit To Inverness
Glad you enjoyed your day gashead. The games are a bit tense just now due to the relegation issues. Difficult to play expressive football at the moment, more like oppressive, or depressive and not enough on the offensive. Still, a win only gets you three points, no matter how you achieve it.

Ict -v- St Mirren : Matchday Thread
The second was also a good goal, he shaped to pass across the box but hit it early with power and accuracy right into the bottom corner. I think that caught out Howard who was expecting a ball laid into the area, like the rest of the North Stand, but no, he arrowed it home perfectly. Suuuuuperb.

Buddies Relegationometer
Re-Munro, i did mention that on another thread, his pass to start the move for the first goal. Still three smileys enough due to constant hacking at the ball, but as I mentioned above he was also prominent in the attack on occasions. Anyone else got their Buddieometer ready for publication??

Chris Iwelumo
Birmingham - Wolves derby and Iwelumo took a sore one tonight, stretchered off after a rather horrendous looking knee high challenge from Carsley. 10 man Birmingham have since gone 2-0 up, Gary O'Connor scoring the second. Anyone else see the tackle, very reckless and dangerous. I don't know the extent of his injury at the moment, but it looked like one of those ones where legs could snap.

I doubt many will skin Jimmy Jabby, he is pretty quick.
