  1. Grass cutting waits for no man. I was too late to pop along but I am not complaining, everything seems to be in order, if you let a thread run long enough all your questions will be answered. All we can do is try it and see whats happening and give it a little while for everything to be ironed out, chill for a bit. Oh, and here are some e's for you, eeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  2. Wheres our Dargo gone....... wheres our Dargo gone Far far away
  3. Don't see how you guys reckon some of these players are underrated Bayne and Munro have both one awards last season, which in my book means that some people do rate them. Hastings has been lauded by many as player of the season. The one who gets the most stick, not all of it deserved has to be Russeldinho.
  4. So & So Are these a pair of Chinese central defenders :029:
  5. 1 Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Hearts 4 Hibs 5 Aberdeen 6 Dundee United 7 Kilmarnock 8 Inverness..............we will finish the season where we started, comfortably avoiding relegation and just missing out on top six 9 Falkirk 10 St Mirren 11 Motherwell 12 Gretna
  6. With Dargo going we don't need another third rate striker, we need a proven goalscorer. Buchanan is not the top dog we need but a yet to develop second division player. :sillywave:
  7. Daft Punk :029: The biggest load of tripe in years, where will they be in twenty years time :sillywave: What is wrong with people these days, absolutely no taste.
  8. Black with no E, I am not bothered, do I look bothered, do I look bothered? He is now history, we will rise without him. I thought he was fortunate to be in the exhalted position we gave him despite the goals he did score for us. Often disinterested during games drifting in and out for long spells. He did the one thing I did like about him though, and that was put the ball in the back of the net. What can ICT do about it, at present, grin and bare it, in the long run, find more money to make staying at ICT more lucrative, until then we will have to put up or shut up. Are we going to be like this every time a player leaves ICT............all depends on how the players treat the paying public. If they act like Dargo or Brown then I may be bothered. Brown for going to sit on Celtics bench and leaving at short notice ( more respect if he went to a club that needed a keeper, like Hibs where he would have been offered a substantial rise and had first team football), Dargo for the unecessary protraction of his departure.
  9. No dispute Bobby Mann Thread closed I win :blah01:
  10. Oh well, why not just go right back to when makind was born and wonder what would happen if Adam never met Eve? Footballs not just about the money, people like Dargo are turning their back on the area, what message does that spell out to other prospective employees for ICT. The fact is it has all happened, thats why people are commenting on it, Dargo did sign for us, Dargo scored a lot of goals for us, Dargo got injured, Dargo got better, Dargo never signed a new contract, Dargo thinks the grass is greener elsewhere, Dargo is turning his nose up at a good thing, Dargo is sticking his fingers up at the ICT fans who backed him, Dargo is History. This 'outpouring' is annoyance that another central belter comes North, makes an impression, then buggers off as soon as. This 'outpouring' is annoyance that as soon as players get noticed, the wee team get consumed by the old firm. Aye, you would think I would be used to it by now, but it does not get any easier, and having Dargo stringing us along waiting patiently for him to decide when the time is right to dump us just adds to the annoyance. Some people up here need to go and get some passion training and stop trying to be nicey nicey politically correct all the time, go on, live life on the edge, you might just enjoy it. What is so wrong with players saying, ok, I like Inverness and I want to finish my career here because I am not a greedy little ****** and want more than Inverness can give me? Like that will ever happen, no because we allow it to happen right under our noses. Dargo is under some illusion if he thinks he will be a big cheese at a big club. This was his chance to be that big cheese and he turned his back on it. As I typed earlier, thanks for the goals, and bye bye, but don't look for any heroes welcome if you return. Right, plenty for you all to quote in that little outpouring :blah01:
  11. Fantastic, I am now the most quoted person on this thread. Rig, you are getting old before your time, pipe slippers and cloth cap spring to mind.........the voice of reason. My opinion of Dargo is his ego has outgrown him, this holding the club to ransom will hopefully backfire on him. This isn't a question and answer game. Wheres sophia, she likes these games.
  12. Good idea kingsmill, and you could put a nipple on the other end in case you pumped them too hard.
  13. Do you honestly expect me to answer you honestly in front of all these people. Dargo had plenty of other opportunities to say yes or no, but we all knew the real answer was no. He has sold ICT short over this. I don't think any amount of money would have tempted him to stay in the Highlands, so why drag it out. As soon as his contract was out he should have come clean and said he was moving. The writing was on the wall when he refused to extend his contract and wait until season ended. I am also sure that ICT were already looking, but they had two options then, young back up striker Buchanan and nobody or young back up striker and also a proven top flight goalscorer. We need another poacher despite what CC said in the press that Denzil will do the job.
  14. ok then, how about economic with the truth...........or how did he tell the truth. He even gave a politicians answer at the supporters end of season do, when asked by a young lad if he was staying, after a short pause, he said, something along these lines, "I always said I would decide at the end of the season, and thet is when I will make my decision" (we still had one game to play), my belief is he already new. Did he ever intend to stay at ICT after his contract expired?.........I don't believe he did. He got what he wanted, we got what we wanted and true to form, whooosh, he's off. He won't be the last player to use us for his own gain, get in the shop window and leave in a hurry when the time suits them, no loyalty whatsoever these days. I was happy with his contribution, although the last few games he was going through the motions His future is not important to me, the future of ICT is much more relevant, he has strung us along too far. It's his choice at the end of the day, we now have a month less time to find a replacement. :sillywave:
  15. I think fans and the club wanted honesty. I get the impression he had no intention of re-signing for ICT, I am too good to continue playing for a wee country bumpkin team like ICT, so I will see out my contract then GTF.........well thats what my ears perceived. He could have let ICT know sooner and gone before now. Like others have said before, some players left with dignity, Dargo is going and I have a bitter taste in my mouth, unlike Dods who is leaving as a cult hero.
  16. Well, I am disappointed in the whole episode. Like he didn't know what to do, what a dilemna, Central belt or the Highlands of Scotland, so remote people can only get here after a horrendous journey from the hub, a place only hunchbacks and lepers live, where tumbleweed blows around all week and the Hillbillies come out to play at the weekend, more eerie than watching deliverance. The comparisons are so remote it is unthinkable that anyone would play up here for more than a few games. Well Mr Dargo, your ego has outgrown you, thanks for the goals and goodbye, ICT are bigger than any player, we will move on, can you. :sillywave: :sillywave: :sillywave:
  17. Phantom of the Opera is a brilliant production, absolutely amazing, you won't be disappointed.
  18. he won't go wrong with George Thorogood & the Destroyers superb hard drivin blues, don't miss it........ Check out his bit on the Live Aid Video/DVD..........with Albert Collins, absolutely brilliant............rockness, GIRUY
  19. 23, shd u nt B @ Rnss jst nw :011:
  20. The Charlie Kennedy - Ray Mackintosh strikeforce at Clach produced a lot of goals, Charlie was a good old fashioned centre forward, up and at em and good in the air, pretty robust chappie, his shinty background stood him in good stead. He used to play centre half in the Strathspey and Badenoch welfare league for Carrbridge in the close season, perfect man for the job won every header. Alan Stevenson was the best left winger I saw, skinned every defender in the league when he played for Clach and Thistle converted him to a left wingback in his later years, still quick though.
