  1. Even more important, Denzil scores his first of many in 2007. And even more stunning, Black was not booked.
  2. Denzil came to us from Aberdeen and hit a barren spell. Then primarily with Paul Richie he scorred lots of goals. The good news for us is that when he breaks out he will score bags of goals again. Be patient. Denzil will not let us down and the signs are one good break and he'll be off again.
  3. Having just returned home I remember Cloughie grabbing Kennie Burns by the nads and turning him into a top class well disciplined player. Perhaps Pele with his experience of delinquent bahaviour could get to the root of Black's persistent problem but I have to sympathise with Charlie and Donald. Two weeks ago I suspect Black was warned about his shirt throwing at Dunfermline and in my view he was at times very visionary and creative against Rangers. Nevertheless he fell foul of immaturity with his booking. Only he can grow up. Only he can understand why he has learned bad behaviour although certain managers or advisers could gradually strike out and improve the problem areas. Maybe a course of hypnosis could turn him into a more rounded individual of great value to the Club. Who would be a football manager?
  4. ....oh and by the way it is Caley, not Cally, not Caleidh and certainly not Kayleigh. Enjoy! If I were you I would invest your winnings on Falkirk beating us this Saturday 2-0 and St Mirren doing the double over us.
  5. Don't put money on a treble when we return to Ibrox - Rangers will definitely be looking for revenge again.
  6. When we beat Celtic in the cup everyone predicted a big humping by Celtic but Barry ignored the script. Tonight many preople are predicting a big humping so your money may be a wise investment especially if Denzil starts scoring again and Bayne plays like he normally does agaianst Rangers - most of his goals (2 that is) have been against Rangers. Here's hoping we'll be dancing in the Streets of Caledonia tronight.
  7. Long live the Highland spirit - add the word 'fight'. Delete the word 'fickle'. Aberdeen for quite a few years could not get away from the bottom but have risen again. Inverness will rise again and heros will emerge.
  8. No fixtures at home in February if we lose to Stirling or get through and get an way tie without a replay. Life could be worse, we could be Ross County or Elgin City supporters!
  9. 5 years ago the thought of Inverness hosting Glasgow Rangers in a new stadium in a televised Boxing Day fixture was an absolute dream. Let us not forget our roots, let us be grateful that Father Christmas has looked after us.
  10. Sensible article. Realism from a leader. Now get behind him and the team regardless of current form.
  11. Santa says do you want Winning isn't everything by Craig Brewster Winning isn't everything by George Burley Five straight wins, no goals against by Charlie Christie and Wee Donald
  12. It seems our problems probably started when we beat Rangers. Football is a funny old game and in general the players have done quite well at home this year. Will people get off their backs if they get another result against Rangers?
  13. Denzil hat trick please. Once a hero, always a hero.
  14. I did not hear this one, like many I saw it. At the time it was funny - today it is somewhat sad. It was of course the 'goal' scored by Andy MacLaren for Kilmarnock againgst ICT in the Cup. The long range shot bounced down from the underside of the bar about a metre over the line. Jim Calder caught it as it bounced out and played on as if nothing had happened. Shortly afterwards McLaren was sent off. Funny - but sometimes luck is not on your side and I suspect Dougie McDonald now mutters'don't mess with me!'.
  15. Sign Darrl Duffy even at £100k that's what I say.
  16. The News report on the Killie game says we shared 7 goals....3.5each?
  17. Funniest this season from Donald: Donald to fourth official after a dodgy opposition tackle : Why does he (the ref) not watch the game ? Fourth official : He is watching! Donald : He's watching the ****** grass.
  18. Let's hope the team are saving the top performances for Dunfermline and St Mirren. If not we will have a problem and that is no disrespect to today's attacking performance. This was our traditional approach which show attack is the best way to defend. However at the first goal how did we let a tiddler score a header from a yard out? Goal two was about leaving Mark very exposed. Goal three was possibly due to Stuart's lack of first team experience. Goal four was a tragedy for Zander and it will be interesting to see if he has the mental strength to get over it quickly. It is easy to believe we should not have lost it but the history books are clear. They may not tell the story that this was great entertainment. In the early days with Brew and Robbo points were rewards achieved after tremendous graft. I certainly feel we can beat Dunfermline next week but their new Manager will feel we are a weak link to be caught. We have to avoid defeat. This is the big one.
  19. Stuart is incredibly patient and what's more extremely decent. The players have listened this week and with our support today hopefully we can more things forward. Guys like Denzil have to come good sometime. The 'mock' cticism of Charlie has been nothing like Gordon Strachan received at the beginning of last year whilst Paul Le Guen has had bucket fulls week in week out. I use the word 'mock' because barring a few people on here I think most of us wanted to shake the team out of its current malaise and set it on its next journey which is upwards. In terms of commitment I cannot believe there are many people better able than 10CC to manage ICT with Donald a top class coach alongside him.
  20. With Elgin rock bottom, Peterhead in the relegation zone, I'm sure relegation worries Leitch whilst Charlie will want to reinflate the team and prove we were the greatest ever success coming out of the Highland League. Leitch probably asked 'What's your opinion of Wilkie?' 10CC probably said 'he'll get you out of trouble.'
  21. Clearly Kingsmills had it on good authority. Shearer for Elgin?
  22. Can we not try Rory, Craig and Denzil up front with Wilson, Black and Duncan attacking like ****. The back four stay on the half way line and Mark controls the whole of the pitch to the half way line. We must attack like we did against Falkirk and if a player fails by half time bring on Bayne or Hart. Then attack again. Teams do not like being attacked and that's how ICT climbed the leagues. Oh and there's no point in attacking if you mamby pamby around in front of goal impressing with near misses. Goals win games - ask Noel Hunt.
  23. You say another 5 wins will do it but we are currently blowing opportunities to take points. Complacency sent Dundee down. As I said elsewhere the key is to recognise we are currently in danger and wake the players and management up. We have the drive and talent. Now is the time to respond. We cannot afford to lose to Dunfermline. Next week we go on the attack in true ICT fashion hopefully with a refreshed team.
  24. It would be better to recognise we are in a crisis now rather than later. We seem to offer predictability week in week out at present. A fresh face in January might provide a lift. Next week requires masses of effort and a really positive home crowd to lift the problem.
