Trialists
Based on what I've seen I'd only (maybe) offer Lopez a contract based on lack of time and other options and the fact he set up a couple of goals against Forres. The rest - meh. Norburn potentially the best of the rest (I've not seen Lamont - is he def here?) but we've already got about 6 other players who can play in his position and I don't see him being picked ahead of Draper or Tansey so would be a pointless addition IMO. Edit: just remembered we signed Wedderburn - make that 7 other players who can play in hist position.

Jordan Roberts
He wore number 11 in our first season back in the Premiership then took the number 7 shirt after Eric Odhiambo vacated it.

Russell Latapy
This is a very good point. It's no secret that he wants to be a manager in his own right again, but why now? He could've left on a high after the cup final, but instead left after our second pre-season friendly against Brora Rangers. With no news that a club has come in for him, he's now left us (officially for the time being) without an assistant manager with a fortnight to go before one of most high profile games ever, to try and 'find another job'. Sorry but.....what?! Playing devil's advocate because I, like everyone else, haven't a clue what went on behind the scenes but maybe the timing is because he wanted to wait about until Yogi had someone (Brian Rice) ready to replace him.

Forres Mechanics v ICT
Unfortunately not. Raven played left bank in the first half and youngster Stephen Rennie in the second. Dani Lopez, JJ Hooper and Number 20 (who wasn't Marc Lamont who was mentioned earlier) all played upfront, Oli Norburn played as a sitting midfielder. Based on what I saw Dani Lopez might be worth another look - he didn't really touch the ball but did set up a couple of the goals. The rest didn't really do anything of any note. Hooper scored a mishit and that was it, Number 20 passed to Hooper to score his mishit and other than that miss controlled the ball quite a bit. Norburn is the sort of holding midfield player which is ten a penny and not the type of player we need.. we need quality attacking players not another holding midfielder. We had two of them in Polworth and Horner playing a half each at right back today. I thought Jason Brown looked quite a decent back up centre half for the little that he had to do.

Contract Situation
I really hope Nick stats but our biggest problem IMO is that we are his hometown club. He's probably seen all his friends from school move on to new cities for further education/work and fancies a bit of that himself. I'm the same age as Nick and even if I was a professional footballer I couldn't imagine staying in my hometown for my whole life.

Compliance Officer / Justice for Meekings
Horrible unprofessinalism from septic but I hope that they have only released such a statement so as to stop their own fans sending them even more pi5h

Compliance Officer / Justice for Meekings
I don't know the answer re: compliance officer but the fact nobody in the media has spoken about it being a possibility I would assume that he should be ok. In terms of Nick Ross, is he ruled out? When did he get his other yellow card?

New Sponsor
Totally agree Rene. Have no problems with Subway as shirt sponsor as they are a well known company. But pleeease i dont want our colours and identity spoiled by green and yellow splashes across the shirt! Atleast Wonga were decent enough to change their logo to Maroon for Hearts and Standard Chattered to Yellow for Liverpool I think its safe to say that we will be getting green and yellow. Theres no way we will be allowed to alter the brand in any way.
