  1. Mentioned this in another thread ages ago (the survival thread) I think a level of subsidy (not free, but bigger subsidy than the supporters club) would be no bad thing for buses for this game. If things are still dire after the split, I think that them fans will pay full whack to go anywhere and help keep us up.
  2. Absolutely. I've been trying to get a keeper top for me six a side games. Short of mugging Ryan Esson, I can't think how to get one. It'd have to be L and black for my "stealth" sillhouette.
  3. I don't know about that. I feel sorry for Granty at the mo because he is being left to look very pedestrian at times and his mistakes (a la Motherwell) are costing us. I can appreciate that not dropping him is good for his morale, and that dropping him might affect team morale (captain and all that) He can pull out the occasional stopper (a la Rankers) but it's not enough. There are others that can sit in his position (duff etc) I ain't got a downer on Granty but it might be time for a rest.
  4. Went. Was able to take the bike in with me (!) and get some banter going and relax in the sun when it came out. Sandy Clark looks like a humourless version of Donald Park, the Aberdire subs were proper wee neds and all in all I was surprised by the amount of 1st team possibles on display. I liked Gattheusi, he had a good turn of pace and good touch. Barrowman & Wood were mince. Duff played well as did Mike Fraser. Worryingly though, there were not many who inspired me to think that they would step up (other than those who already have) and no one who could put the ball in the back of the net. A sound investment of some flexi time though (not fitting any of Lizi's categories)
  5. This guy. Peter Kovacs. He's the ginge in this clip:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR2cfrpC7wc from my 2nd team. Was at the reserve game today, and Barrowman was mince again, as was Wood. We need someone badly.
  6. Good idea about the buses - It would give the muppets another chance to save face. Them saving face is the last thing on my mind. Just want to see ICT do well

I do enjoy these ambulance chasers like IHE wallowing in the "Told ye, didnae I?" bit. The guy is so unpredictable. True - matter of time before, as I said elsewhere - that a wheel fell off. He had little choice with the pen; Esson should have been out much more pronto and I don't see the red card as clear, cause there were tons of people in the penalty area. He can be allowed this mistake. I think that people would be ebtter served looking at Granties continuing horror shows and then talk about someone who really is a mare.
  8. I'll be there. Does anybody else think that subsidised buses for the Falkirk game would be a good investment by the club? It would do the side a lot of good to have as many people behind them as were at Hamilton, with a hopefully better result. Mon ICT
  9. I've seen some crackers in my time. I've cursed some amount of incompetent bankers in black, but I really thought that it was straight red out of order to nut somebody. There were other decisions that were feckin unbelievable and if I was up against Stevie Pressley, I'd have wanted an engagement ring before he got his hands all over me.Lionel was always liable to lose a wheel somewhere along the line. Bleedin frustratin guv, that's what it is. I'm off to have a bath in vodka.
  10. Never. I actually think the man's worse than Chic Young on the grounds that it's obvious Chic has a want about him. Traynor tricks you with that 14 nanoseconds of gravitas before the cretinism kicks in. It's what comes of supporting Airdrie.
  11. just stunning. Cue Saturday, throw down a marker to Falkirk. You're going down
  12. He's hard.............
  13. And you ribbed me about Elbow.................
  14. I reckon it's fair enough from Fred's point of view. If I was offered (legally) you would have no chance of me giving it back because of a witch hunt. Just think, a year ago, RBS thought this guy was a messiah. If he hadn't got into all this dodgy (as we know now) but lucrative (as we knew then) his shareholders would have sacked him, and the media wouldnae get the chance to come over all sanctimonious. But he is an odious looking wee nyaff.
  15. And why would that be?
  16. Away wi' the rights man, they'll never understand. I want one.

Hoping to give Motherwell a spanking...........
  18. Elbow, seldom seen kid. There's enough bangin' beat to keep Maimie just about awake, and a bit o' poetic licence to keep me going. Grand
  19. Chick's a strange one? Massive understatement. He has as much idea about journalism as M. Barrymore does about swimming pool management. He can't write! He does that grammatically bereft, strangled sentence pap reasonably, but it does get on yer nerves. Rather. Aaaaargh! His grasp of history is p*sh and all.
  20. I don't think that too many of these comparisons are valid. Riordan was laughably bad on Saturday, but then so were most of his team. Skill wise, he's capable of more. Imrie? This is what he's capable of, and it fits well with Terry 'n June's new masterplan. And James MacFadden? I would suggest not, as above but more so. But keep running, tackling, disrupting and (occasionally) finishing and DI's a more useful player than the other two.
  21. Lionel is a god like creature. Proctor looks like he has been released from the grip of an evil spell, Roy MacBain - I salute you. Highlights? Dougie Imrie's free kick (WTF?) Lowlights? another semi-prolonged dither by Grantie. Falkirk? Goodbye.
  22. Probably nothing to do with the fact that the "Press Ball" was the night before and members of the fourth estate couldnae actually see at that point (around an hour after they had stopped drinking, allegedly) Lucky we got any kind of report really. So them being on another planet - fair enuff.
  23. Like this!
  24. Heard a rumour tonight from an "impeccable" source that CB has been training with Ross County and might be offered a deal on a month to month basis. Says it all really.
  25. if you were too become manager what would you do differently compared too Brewster?
